Hey Customer Service Team, I submitted an email from my personal address regarding this order on 10/26, but have yet to get an acknowledgement. Like many other folks, my binding is starting to separate from the book. My email includes more information and images. I understand there's quite a large backlog of emails, and there's a new print run of the CRB that will delay replacements a bit. That's understandable with an issue this widespread. I would just like to have a ballpark idea of how long the delay is on addressing customer concerns and emails? It looks like it's more than 1 week to even answer emails at this point. Should I expect an acknowledgement before a 2nd week passes?

Paging James Jacobs! What evil beastie swallowed up the Templar goodness from my APG?!? Will the aforementioned Templar be appearing in some future Paizo product now?

Thank you, Technical Director of Necromancy!

Emphasis (bold) mine. For some reason the UPS tracking site lists them as unable to reach me, which probably means they were too lazy to try, as I have received at least 3 UPS shipments from them since they were supposed to contact me. I've received the replacement shipment already, and the books were in perfect condition this time. Thanks, Cosmo. What would you guys like me to do with the damaged books now?
I just received my order today, and one corner of the box was pretty badly damaged. Opening up the shipment I found my highly anticipated books: Pathfinder Chronicles: Classic Monsters Revisited (OGL)
All of which had some corner damage. 3 of the books have damage to the bottom right corners, which can be flattened with any of the hundreds of other RPG books I have around. Unfortunately my copy of Classic Monsters Revisited was flipped over in the stack of books and has damage to the upper spine. Not something that I'm really able to work with. Honestly this is the first time I haven't been completely pleased with my shipment. Is there any way I can trade in my copy of Classic Monsters Revisited for a (hopefully) undamaged one? Thanks -Robert
I just finished this book today. On the positive side I would have to say that it was entertaining, fast-paced, and short. If it were any longer I think that I would have grown to dislike the characters; there was just not much depth to any of them. Some of the ideas presented were excellent, and hopefully the author's next book will be all the better for his experience.
My party also snuck into the hidden temple and defeated Bozal. They brought him back to consciousness long enough for him to release the Ulgurstasta. The fight was much less deadly than I had originally anticipated, because the Goliath barbarian charged down the tendril filled hallway to engage the massive creature in toe-to-whatever-combat. Goliath barbarians are very, very......effective in combat. The ulgurstasta spent a few rounds trying to consume her, but I failed the grapple checks to eat her. I would have had the Ulgurstasta surge into the arena above...but it was the middle of the night and the only thing that made sense was for the thing to try and fulfill the prophecy by eating a 'champion' of some kind. I figure that the last few fights of the arena will prove to be pretty ugly for some of the players. The smaller fights tend to be tougher for my party, anyway. Age of Worms is going great for me :D
Female Halfling Rogue 2 - barmaid at the emporium, part time only. Female Human Cleric of Pelor 2 - apprenticed to the Osgood smithy until the Halfling (adopted sister) talked her into investigating the cairn. Extremely paranoid and twitchy Female Goliath Barbarian 1 - was working as a bouncer in the Feral Dog until approached about being muscle for the group going into the Whispering Cairn Male Half-Elf Cleric of Heironeous - stationed with the garrison Male Elf Necromancer - apprenticed to Allustan, steers clear of the Wee Jas cultists. Has a skeleton companion (variant from UA)
Yes, this Cleric of Pelor has the Sun domain and used her greater turning on poor Alastor. Depending on how they deal with Filge and his use of the Land family Alastor will probably show up again in some form and offer to reward them. His body has already been laid to rest of the farmstead by the PCs, and they are on their way back to town to sell the baby owlbear. Next on the agenda is a run-in with Kullen and his gang.
They just defeated the grick in the room of iron spheres. And, like clockwork, Alastor Land appears to give the players a bit of a fright. My ultra-paranoid Cleric of Pelor turns him before he can even speak - and destroys him. Then they find his body and realize their mistake. Any suggestions for getting them into the next chamber now that Alastor is gone? I thought about using one of his relatives, but their souls should be long gone by the time their graves are desecrated by Kullen's gang. They managed to figure out where the Land homestead is by calling in a favor with Allustan (and a speak with dead spell from the St. Cuthbert locals). . . but I feel like I should give them a second chance to get into Zosiel's chamber. And from now on I think I'm gonna call the cleric 'twitch' I look forward to any suggestions.
Well, I just got my Dungeon 116 today(Finally). I have been a subscriber for almost a year now, and not one of my Dungeon or Dragon magazines has made it into my hands inside the two-week mark. I love the magazine, and wouldn't consider not buying any more issues, but I am seriously considering letting my subscription lapse. I love the savings I get by having a subscription to both magazines, but it seems almost not worth it to get my copy of Dungeon or Dragon just before the next one hits the stands! I've emailed customer service a few times in the past, and while they have always been friendly and helpful (they replaced a copy of a Dragon mag where one section of the 4-part FR map had been torn by the machines), they have never been able to provide a satisfactory answer to why my magazine disappears into limbo for a few weeks before it reaches me. *Sigh* At least I know I'm not the only one with problems...... |
