Currently you guys are engaged in the war between the Drow and the surface elves within the ruins of the ancient Elven city of Celwynvian. The war has been going on for over a month now, consisting of assaults at key points during the day and protecting the Elven base camp at night.
The events of note during the past few weeks for the party were the assault on the library, the closing down of the alchemical lab as well as saving the life of Kaerishiel. Yesterday supplies and merchants teleported in from Kyonin and the orders will arrive tomorrow.

You have just returned from the day’s patrolling of the ruins and went to the treatment tents to restore and heal from the combats with the demons in the city. As one of the clerics investigates your wounds she comments:
“You outsiders have done a lot in the efforts to reclaim our city, though you have been luckier than most. This morning one of the patrols returned, and only two elves returned."

This thread is for players of this campaign so please, other people do not post here.

For the players of this campaign, thank you for trying this out. This thread will be used for out of character discussions. Also this thread will have links to the other thread(s) as well as information on house rules.

I would like each of you just to make a quick post here so we can see what the other players look like. Please create an alias for this campaign and keep your profiles updated, especially your current HP.
I will roll the initiatives before hand and here is how I will handle knowledge checks and some perception checks (though in some cases you will still need to request these). You post your appropriate roll and if they succeed then your character would know what is behind the “spoiler” though you as player will always be allowed to look at these spoilers.

When there is information that I do not want the players to know without an awesome roll then I will not post it as a spoiler. I would ask for a roll and if I see a high enough roll I will post the appropriate spoiler. Here is an example of a knowledge spoiler:

When there is information that only one of the players should know, like the times when the DM calls a player into the other room, I will send you an email or tell you on gtalk, whichever you prefer more.

I've noticed that the goat familiar of the witch gives the witch Greater Restoration at 14th level and that Greater Restoration is also on the Witch's spell list as a 7th level spell. I checked the initial witch class and there Greater Restoration was not on the witch’s normal spell list and could be obtained via the goat. I believe this is an oversight in the final release. What would be an appropriate replacement for the goat’s 14th level spell?
