Nezu waves his arms in a broad sweeping motion, "...Waryeye’s Apothecary." Nezu flashes his identification for the RNC. "You may have heard of me, Nezu'mi Jwee. Resident Master Alchemist of the RNC. Ingredients have been curated from your shop to craft illegal potions in the city. Now I either have reason to believe that you are crafting them, or perhaps a frequent irregular patron. Might your memory serve you to serve me m'lady?" Zezu'mi makes a broad sweeping bow. Did he find anything unusual or interesting in the shop?

Nezu'mi makes his way back to where his colleagues may be conferring, "AHEM.." Nezu'mi taps his cane on the ground rhythmically, "I have not found the source... YET, but with some time in the streets it should be easy enough for me to find the source of our victims cocktail." Nezu'mi chews on something stuffed in his cheek briefly before opening his empty worn journal to an apparent empty page and sniffs it over quickly. He returns his attention to the group, "Anyone care to accompany me?" @ GMF, would it be possible for Nezu'mi to enlist his previous swarm and have sort of a spy network around the city?

Nezu'mi hunkers down on his haunches and begins to sniff and test the consistency of the remaining liquid in the vial, Alchemy Identify: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19 His whiskers twitch in anticipation as he spends some time identifying the remaining liquid. When Nezu'mi is finished he stuffs the vial in some pocket buried within his layers of tattered clothing, Sleight of Hand: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24 "Simple 'nuff, this potion was a...." Waiting to see if he was able to identify..

In the time that it took the others to prepare and wrap the body in the shroud Jwee had crafted a Disguise Self self potion and drank it in the corner, hopefully no one really noticed.. Sleight of Hand: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
Jwee changes his appearance to be approximately 10" taller, his fur to be dark and his clothing to be much more fanciful than before. Thanks for the physics, the GMs answer was good enough though, Jwee isn't really trying to figure it out, but just making it look like he's "investigating" Jwee follows the group to the covered body, ears twitching as he listens to the inquiries and conversations of those around him. As he walks he constantly pulls things out from his pockets to stows them somewhere else. As he approaches the cadaver he pulls the drape off and begins to examine as well. Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 Jwee looks around at his co workers and the sobbing man. He shrugs stating confidently, "This is in fact a body.." He pokes her legs with a ratty nail, "Pretty fast for little legs.." Moving off to the corner to allow his colleagues to work Jwee pulls several things out of his coat and begins to fiddle and tinker to no purpose.

As the discussion begins between the Officers and Nezu'mi's co workers Jwee scurries passed them on all fours, his ears tracing their conversation. Jwee pulls out a minute hour glass from somewhere inside his coat. He flips it and begins to pace out 40 feet, makes note of the time and repeats, this time at a run on all fours and again makes note of the time. Jwee is trying to work out what kind of velocity might have been needed to make the 40 foot distance. Not sure of the check ill just roll a flat intelligence check for now?
Gasping and now completely out of breath, "no way, no way it is possible..." Jwee continues his self absorbed experiments for the next few minutes while his team gets information.

@ GMF - are guns common / would the rat know how to use one? Just looking at gear and what the lil rat would have as a ranged weapon after expending bombs. Do you want me to keep track of reagents, vials, etc as part of equipment or just assume that this is part of the loadout all the time? Aaaand should i really be worried about weight of items / are you tracking this.. if so i'll probably have to just grab a handy haversack for most of my stripend.

Nezu'mi Jwee often known as just Jwee hunches in the corner of the office working on some small project feverishly. His large backpack takes up much of his torso, his long loose fitting coat, pants and shirt are covered in baubles and small vials of what one can only assume to be Alchemical Ingredients, his ears twitch as he listens attentively to the group discuss the events. A small jingle of his earrings the only betrayal that he might actually be paying attention.. "Up.. out.. maybe arms flap hard enough you make it?? Hmmm peculiar..." Jwee spits a small amount of something in his mouth into a vial and it bubbles and releases a fragrant odor... which quickly becomes foul. Jwee hisses his disapointment. "wrong wrong wrong! Cat's Claw, Kelp, Fenugreek, Yarrow! Jwee did it right!" Jwee produces a small plain looking tomb from somewhere inside his coat and begins flipping feverishly through the pages, all of which are empty. After a brief consultation he rises to his meager height, supported by his knotted and gnarled cane. "Ride now in horse boat? Jwee would see the scene, Jwee would like to see the dead."

Alright, well the rat is pretty much done and everything added to profile. Still need to write up his background but the core is mostly there. If anyone takes a look and sees any glaring errors let me know, my brain has a bit of information overload at the moment from putting him together.

Not too attracted to the Mind Chemist, but an Investigator seems pretty fun so far! EDIT: As we already have an investigator I'll be going Alchemist. I will have my character rolled by the evening or end of weekend more likely!
