I don't know if Narsel is telling the truth or not so i posted both a bluff and diplmoaci check. But with his own morale concerning business he most certainly think he is helping Zalen to cheat this woman ![]()

But in these tragic times i have found an increased demand for potions of the protective kind. I also do it in talismans once in a while, but those a hard to come by these days.” Sense motive 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (3) + 11 = 14

And as i said unfortunately i didn't get his name. ” Quote: "I don't know who he is or where to find him, or if I want to. Now lets go talk to this dwarf. I'm gonna cut his stubby ears off for eavesdropping on private conversations." ”Wow, wow slow down. It was several days ago, and we don't even know his name. And what do you mean you don't if you want to find this tiger? He has a friend of yours imprisoned and my father! And as far as i've heard he is not well liked, so my guess is that they are not the only one in his claws.” Quote: "What did you say your name was?" ”Narsel Fachey, seller of magic potions and protective talismans” He says with a grin. ![]()

There isn't many of those around here, so tracking you was no big feat. But this other shoanti, do you think she will know more?" TN:

![]() "Excuse me miss, are you Alandra?" Narsel says in his most charming way. "My name is Narsel Fachey, and I come to you with a problem of mine I was hoping you could help me with. There is a long story behind, perhaps you know a place where we could talk in private?" If Alandra agrees and take them somewhere else he will tell his story
Spoiler:
"It's about my father. He was a fair and honest man running a succesfull jewelry, never poking his nose where it didn't belong. Because of his succes he was one day approached by a man who demanded money from my father. In exchange he would make sure nothing happened to the shop. Of course my father declined, but that made the man furious. A couple of days later i woke up to the sound of fighting coming from my fathers room. Before I could even exit my own room, my door was kicked open and four thuggish types stood in my door opening. Fortunately I was able to escape them, but they did leave the house with my father. I was recently contacted by someone who claimed my father was still a live but kept imprisoned by some "Tiger". I was told you have been searching for the same man. Maybe you know something that could help me in my search?" Sense motive 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (19) + 11 = 30(Only if she agrees to speak with him in private) Spoiler: There is more to the story than he is telling ![]()

![]() ”I guarantee you that this talisman will make your business untouchable. If you hang this on your door, the mobs will not even dare to go near your store again, good sir” Narsel says bowing low before a finely dressed man looking for some protection against the riots that followed the kings death. As he bowed he couldn't help but smile. Business was going fine ever since the kings dead. People were more desperat than ever to buy protective potions and talismans, wich meant more coins in Narsels purse. He couldn't believe what desperat people where willing to believe. But that was not the only reason he was smilling. About a month ago he had heard a rumor that his father was still alive. Narsel had spend the last weeks listening to rumors and connecting clues and now it had paid off. Yesterday a man in an inn had told him of a shoanti woman named Alandra, who might be able to help him along his road. Tonight he was going to seek her out. A couple of hours later when the markets where getting empty of people he closed his little stand and retreated to a simple cottage he had in the shingles of Old Korvosa.

Huh, i had not noticed that. From the IC threads last posts, i had the impression that he was pure rogue. Guess i will have to give this character some more thoughts today. It will still be finished today. I'm still thinking sorcerer but maybe more blaster minded. EDIT: Changed the bloodline and some magics, so he doesn't resemble Zalen so much.

I didn't really feel the monk character so i decided to go with a halfling sorcerer instead. Hope that is okay. He's a con artist living mainly from selling fake potions through a combination of prestidigitation, charm person and his bluff skills. I will post a background tomorrow. ![]()
![]() Do you allow the free bonus feats in the player guide to be taken as traits? I would like to take Totem spirit; Tamiir-Quah. It increases speed by 5 and gives a +2 bonus on jump. If you allow this should i translate the jump bonus to an acrobatic bonus, or a jump based acrobatic bonus? The trait is all i need, then he is ready to play. ![]()

![]() I would like to submit my evoker Narsel Fachey. As a son of a succesfull travelling merchant Narsel had no opportunity to go to school anywhere, since he would often leave the place after a couple of weeks. Therefore he has been trained and educated in the basics of magic by his father who was a minor wizard. He quickly took to the art, and at the age of 7 he was able to change the color of his hair with a simple cantrip his father had taught him. When he was 8 years old his father was visiting the small town of Kassen, as much to sell spices as to look in on his dear old friend and mentor Nathaus Stakeim. After a month in Kassen, Narsels father had to leave on an urgent trip as one of his offices had been robed.
A couple of months later Narsel and Nathaus received a letter explaining that Narsels father had been killed by highway men. Nathaus took him in and raised him as his old son. When Narsel was old enough he became the apprentice of Nathaus, just like his fahter was before him. Narsel impressed everyone with the rate of wich he was learning. So much that when he was 10 he was selected by the city council to become a fortune seeker in honor of Ekat Kassen. ![]()
