Nakir shrugs, he was not intimidated by this man. Getting thrown out of a window would be a bigger problem for him anyways, he would have hundreds of nobles and such to explain it to. Not to mention alot of independent types that would not suffer a lie or mere excuse of he made me "twitchy".

"I am not responsible for your feelings. If you have no real reason, let me go about my business. Towards the party I was invited to or back towards my room. Makes little difference to me personally. Ether way you have threatened me twice."

His words were true, he didn't care about going to the party. He would find his fun one way or another. In fact among the so called common folk he was likely to have more fun then these puffs. Aolis may get on his case a little, but it would hardly be the first time and the guard gave him all the excuse he needed to weasel his way out of trouble with the elf. None the less this man was going to have his little interrogation making the rounds by morning. Sir Twitchy had a good ring to it.

OOC:

No need to bluff when the only reason is "I have a feeling". Abadar don't like "feelings", he likes proof. ;)

Oh in that case my answer still works I think. That guy has no chance, Nakir feels zero guilt about keeping himself safe. Lawfuls are silly, every time they are a fey gets their wings. xD

Thanks for the clarification DM.

Nakir cocks an eyebrow at the man.

"What makes me so special exactly?"

He says that as if his appearance was not enough but still it is a valid point. He continues before any answer is forth coming.

"That aside I have been searched. If you wish a more pointed search I have no problem stripping if required."

Among fey being naked was nothing new or strange. Still he was looking forward to spreading that little tid bit along with the threat if things went that way. Things were getting fun already, how deep were they going to dig themselves with their paranoia.

DM:

Alright what is the guy referring to about Nakir? He has some mischievous intent and tries to hide his casting ability but going by what he said about his hands he knows about that some how already. Which kinda defeats the purpose of the bluff Nakir made. A little confused here.

Perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (16) + 12 = 28
Bluff: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (18) + 13 = 31

A-Team Meeting:

Nakir had been poking around the room as everyone spoke, seemingly not to listen until he chimed in.

"Miss Zephyra, have you ever dealt with Ulfen's. Fun people, yet if they feel slighted. They make you pay, in blood or gold. You can ask them to leave but unless your prepared to fight or even kill them. You never tell them to leave, makes all the difference. A dozen or more groups of people that don't get told by anyone what to do, just got told. I know how that would go over with a group of Ulfen, bartered enough with them. I think they have some idea too, otherwise they wouldn't have covered it up with double speak. Could be wrong."

He shrugs before going back to his exploration of the room and it's trinkets. Ulfen's were not as thick in the head as they were thick in the body. He had traded a good deal in their homeland and one thing you never do is threaten or try to be heavy handed. Not unless you had the muscle to back it up and even then you kept it civil less a blood feud ensue. Yet tricking them was perfectly acceptable so long as you do not make them out to be a fool. Adventurers and other independent minded folk tended to skew in that direction as well, the less moral minded and likely those quickly placed on the rejection list would definitely lash out in some way at such an insult atop the rejection. Pettiness being a common trait of such.

Aramil shakes his head at Nakir's entrance. "I see you still enjoy popping up out of nowhere, Nakir. Some day, that might actually get you into trouble."

Without missing a beat he replies with a smile.

"Oh it does, plenty of times. Like just now, but really sometimes isn't that the point. We could all use a little trouble in our lives. If mine is all you have then you should be thankful."

His black eyes take a slight unnerving quality with his smile if not his words. As the center stage starts he winks and blanks his face. At the declaration of the groups he rolls his eyes but says nothing.

Active Perception DC 20:

For those that are actively keeping an eye out only. You don't roll if your not, as modifier and conditions change considerably.

Stealth: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (3) + 17 = 20

You notice a glimmer in the air for a moment. As if something was moving beneath the very surface of your vision.

Nakir pops up beside and behind Aolis.

"Well isn't this a grand party. If I may interject as I know my friend here never would."

He pats Aolis on the shoulder.

"Swords around here are like grains of sand in the desert. You want to stand out or get considered, better bring something else to the table. If swords could tame the stolen lands, well they wouldn't be called stolen now would they."

They were in a land of sword obsessed warriors, blade craft could get you far here. But out in the wild, all that dueling stuff was dead weight. You have to have raw power or cunning to make it, best to have a bit of both. You don't see wolves playing at hunting, at least not unless their pups. They didn't need pups on their journey.

Nakir's Honor: 18 + 5 + 1d6 - 1d6 ⇒ 18 + 5 + (5) - (1) = 27

Odds are he will need a custom honor code. ;)

P.S. DM did you roll fame for Nakir?

Edit-Well Nakir is surprisingly honorable. xP

I was playing off Nakir's strangeness as the reason people were keeping some distance (like that homeless dude with the funny clothes). As to the pushing, I've been in it while visiting New York, pushing is normal in big packed crowds and you don't always (mostly ever in fact) see who pushed you (just check your wallet). So it's not a slam or shove just the pressure of someone trying to get by. Nakir isn't high enough level in game terms to use that ability on medium people in a shoving/hostile manner anyways.

I'll be more detailed in the future if you want.

Initiative +3, Perception +12, Leader: Aolis

Nakir walks through the crowd, most people make way. Those that don't get seemingly pushed by the air around him. He didn't like such packed cities, at least not when he could not make use of his abilities more fully. Aolis had told him to restrain himself, what fun was that. He could have easily moved about invisibly or in the form of a swordlord. But he had been told the locals would take offense, as if they could see through his illusions. Everyone around here had swords for brains. They had less magic then in the wilds.

Or so it had been, Aolis had those mages with him now. They were cautious of him, he wouldn't be able to toy with them. Just then he noticed a pick pocket taking a merchants pouch. With a flick of his finger the thief's prize leaped from his hand on to the rear end of a guard not five feet from him. The guard whirled around and Nakir was amused, at least for the moment.
