Nadya makes sure to correct the map for Beck so he is holding north to the top. Um, that way Beck, otherwise I think you would be heading home instead.

Looking at the map you are gong to skirt the forest a bit more as you head north. Then you start to angle your way north by northwest till you hit a tributary river that eventually runs into the lake that sits by Whitethrone.

Good luck finding my uncle. He is good at hiding if he doesn't want to be seen. He may hear about you before you find him. Be careful of who you talk to and try to keep it from people that you are not from around here. Perhaps Xanxan can alter your clothes as you go to make it look more local.

Xanxan, you can make 5 craft checks at DC 15 to alter clothes for people. A success indicates that that individual will get a +2 on disguise checks if needed to appear local. Jetro doesn't need any as he is a local.

All too soon those with the geas feel a pull directing them to move onward. The group has rebalanced after losing Variel but finding well qualified replacement in Duardlara. Items have been divvied out and there is nothing really keeping anyone here any longer.

Naday has heard the talk and knows that you are all on a mission to literally save the world from becoming exactly like Irrisen. He will listen and trust you. it will take you 9 days to get there if the weather is clear. Follow the map and bring along plenty of winter gear. Minor mistake earlier, Nahzena is the daughter of the Queen of Irrisen, not the queen herself. She is still in Whitethrone though helping the queen with the plans to cover the world in winter.

As Nadya is asked she will give her input on the matter. To be honest Helgash, I don't know if the people will rally like you would like. There are some like the inn keepers that would oppose such action while others would be too cowed and scared of retaliation to support you. Jetro and I are probably the only ones that would publicly support you. I personally would take Xanxan's approach and burn the body. In fact if you would allow it, I will see to it personally as repayment for the loss of my only daughter.

Nadya takes aim at the guard that Helgash just hit, the one with the scar. Seeing the scar though she hesitates just long enough to fire at the guard who took Helgash down with the mighty blow.

Nadya goes to fire but the guard drops before she can launch her arrow. Instead she moves up to better get a shot at the foe past Beck. There is too many people and webs int he way so she readies for a clearer shot should someone come from the north.

Naday fires at the guard as well hoping to drop her target but know that shooting into melee and through the door is not the best option. Still she does what she can to hit her target.

Gnomes are not unheard of but they are a rarity. Enough of a rarity that it would draw attention to yourself rather quickly. If the guards saw us I would think that we would be watched until entering the wall directly and no chance of some of us breaking off to stealthily infiltrate the tower. It would get us close to the wall, yes but then we would have to either continue with the ruse or attempt the assault from the outside against the walls.

if this is what you want to do then I will try to get the dogs to brings you as close I can without alerting anyone. I will have to stay back a ways though and let you approach on foot the rest of the way. I will then stay with the dogs until you signal me that you are inside and the gate is open.

Venja, you are able to see the opening in the icefall from this distance due to the sun reflecting off of the wall. It is the disturbance of the reflection that you noticed more so than the actual wall itself. Likewise you were able to a group of people moving but nothing more than that. No idea on numbers or descriptions or even size of the creatures. They could be an army of trolls for all y pou can tell from this distance.[/ooc]

Nadya: I have come this far and out onto the plain but never inside the walls of the tor itself. As for what is inside, I have heard what Hatch has told us and believe that he has given us his best intelligence albeit he never analyzed the place to assault it.

Leaving Nadya and Hatch to their own devices for the moment, the group makes their way to the building indicated by Nadya. The building is a nondescript building that does not have any form of advertisement on it indicating a trade or business that you can see. Perhaps it is covered by a light layer of snow. Regardless there is a simple iron knocker on the door.

Nadya stands there looking at the group with almost a tear in her eye. This is the first time that you have seen the anguish that she is in come to the surface. Outside of the initial wave of grief everything else has been a stoic resolve on her part. Now though is a different matter. Thank you all for what you have done and what you are planning on doing as well. There are lots of good people in this world and in this country. Unfortunately, we are ruled over by those who have a different disposition than us. As you say Venja, perhaps not all witches are this way, but it seems that all of the ruling class withes are. I don't know exactly where this journey will take us once we step out of this house but I am not turning back until I have done my part to make this a safer place for families. They should not fear the loss of a child as I have had to, nor hear threats from commanders about one's remaining children.

You may need to convince him yourself to come along but if I am correct once he hears that we are looking at ridding Waldsby from the threat of the Winter Witch he will be willing to assist us.

Stiffening her resolve the tears dry on her face as she is stoic once again.I will have the dogs ready when you return. Oh and Hatch has agreed to come with us as he has learned some valuable insights into the tower while he was there. If nothing else he knows the layout of the first florr and can describe it to us so we may better plan that route at least.
