Everyone looks like they are out of the Web, so at this point it's not really helping us...
Just saw that webs are dismissible and getting Sheelah Lockjawed is a priority.
Edited
Beck Casts Lockjaw on Sheelah and giver her the order to attack the witch.

She moves into the webs and attacks the Witch from AG:20.

Tsk, tsk Beck, you are not making this nice for the bodyguard.

Again the bodyguard jumps in the way of sheelah's attack this time ending up impaled on her teeth as she holds him fast like a rag doll.

Gotta love in harm's way as a feet for a bodyguard. Of course he is hurting pretty badly right now.

As moving into the webs is a move action Sheelah oly gets the one attack due to difficult terrain. No pounce yet.

She does have Nimble moves and can ignore 5' of difficult terrain per round. So that 5' isn't difficult terrain for her. but if it takes a move cause of the combat maneuver then it makes sense, but she can take a 5' in difficult terrain.
Gotta stomp the guard next round tho. So many attacks about to coming at you!

"It is as it should be Variel" - the tiefling retorts, swinging at the witch's bodyguard with his massive reach, in the hopes of clearing the field so they can overwhelm their main opponent - "Your minions fall! Surrender, and you will have a chance to survive and repent!"

Bardiche Attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16

I am not sure of Variel and Beck's current hp - if it is below Max-5 they heal 5 each ;)

Thanks Beck for explaining that, yes Sheelah can get the rest of her attacks but they miss as his AC is a 22.

The bodyguard is starting to take a beating from the spells thrown at him reducing his strength to taking numerous hits for RAdosek. He is now impaled and grabbed by Sheelah.

Helgash tries to get in on the action with Sheelah grappling him but the blow bounces off the platemail armor.

Variel swings his rapier charged with the shocking grasp hoping that the discharge does not hurt Sheelah as she has him in her maw.

Bottom of Round 4
The witch sees his bodyguard fall and tries desperately to escape out of the webbing but fails miserably as the group starts to close in around him.

If anything should happen to me she will seek you out for her revenge. I spied on you this morning and have spoken to her already regarding your fate. Once she is done with Baba Yaga's hut in Whitethrone she will seek you out personally to flay the flesh off your bodies and to resurrect me from the dead. You may have won this fight but you will never defeat her...

Venja considers a moment, then adds, "The locals of Waldsby and other towns might be too fearful to apply true justice in his case. I suggest we make a decision as to his fate, and do so quickly. What do you say, Nadya, as you definitely have a pony in this race.?"

Human Fighter14HP97/112 Init+6,Per+14,F13R8W10 AC20T12FF17

You got a good point there Venja, if it gets out that the townsfolk axed him, then I wouldn't be surprised if there is retaliation.

Minor mistake earlier, Nahzena is the daughter of the Queen of Irrisen, not the queen herself. She is still in Whitethrone though helping the queen with the plans to cover the world in winter.

As Nadya is asked she will give her input on the matter. To be honest Helgash, I don't know if the people will rally like you would like. There are some like the inn keepers that would oppose such action while others would be too cowed and scared of retaliation to support you. Jetro and I are probably the only ones that would publicly support you. I personally would take Xanxan's approach and burn the body. In fact if you would allow it, I will see to it personally as repayment for the loss of my only daughter.

Nadya's eyes turn cold and all resemblance of the Nadya you now disappears. I would only ask that you strip him of his gear and leave me alone with him for the day. Ignore what you may hear as you recoup and rest. After the day is over, rest assured that he will trouble you know longer and not have a chance to be brought back to life.

She looks to Helgash at this as he is the most righteous to see if he will allow it.

Helgash stares hard at Nadya, and at the foe lying prone. Taking a step towards the woman, he cups her face in his blood stained hands - "I mourn still for your loss Nadya" - his eyes flare - "And whatever joy you may garner from making him suffer will only be fleeting" - he adds, drawing his longsword, and placing it on a table next to them - "Take Iomedae's symbol and put him down with a quick, clean death - rest assured he will be suffering an eternity of punishment for his deeds, and keep your immortal soul clean" - he smiles, turning to leave.

"I will be patrolling the grounds, making sure no reinforcements are making their way towards us" - the large tiefling leaves without another word.

Venja you find

An icicle Wand with 37 charges remaining at cater level 5:

This fragile-looking wand appears to be nothing more than a sharpened icicle nearly a foot in length, though it is as sturdy as any wand and the ice never melts. A combination of arcane tool and weapon, icicle wands find frequent use amongthewinterwitchesoflrrisen, and traders have carried them as far south
as the mountains of Cheliax, Andoran, and Taldor. An icicle wand functions primarily as a wand of ice spears (see page 72), granting its user the ability to create and turn icy terrain against her enemies. In addition, an icicle wand can also be wielded as a masterwork dagger that deals l point of cold damage with a successful attack in addition to normal dagger damage. An icicle wand with a caster level of 7th or higher functions as a +ifrost dagger instead.

can disrupt spellcasters, topple enemies, and break even seemingly unstoppable charges.
One or more giant spears of ice lance up out ofthe ground. Each stalagmite-like icicle affects a 5-foot square and tapers to a height of10 feet. You may cause a number of ice spears equal to one spear for every 4 caster levels you possess to burst from the ground. A creature that occupies a square from which a spear extends (or that is within 10 feet of the ground below) takes 2d6 points of piercing damage and 2d6 points ofcold damage per square-creatures that take up more than 1 square
can be hit by multiple spears ifyour caster level is high enough. The explosive
growth can also trip foes.
When the spears erupt from
the ground, they attempt a combat
maneuver check to trip any targets that
take damage from the spears, with a total bonus equal to your caster level plus your
Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma modifier,
whichever is highest. Each additional ice
spear beyond the first that strikes a single
foe grants a +io bonus on this combat maneuver check. If the check is successful, the ice spears knock the foe prone. A successful Reflex save halves the damage and prevents the trip attempt.
Ifyou cast this spell upon an area covered with ice or snow, such as a glacier, frozen lake, or snow-covered field, the spears strike with additional force. Saves against the effect take a -2 penalty, and the spell effect gains a +4 bonus on the combat maneuver check to trip foes.
Ice spears created by this spell remain after they do their damage. They melt as normal depending on the surrounding environment. They no longer damage foes in their square, but can provide cover. An ice spear has hardness 5 and 30 hit points.

Perception:1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23

Stealth: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (1) + 14 = 15

With the amount of information Venja it will take you about an hour to go thorough it. Nt really too much of an issue but letting you know. Doing so will give you and whomever else is going through it with you an additional +2 n the spellcraft check.

Xanxan to the north and southwest are two rooms that are fully furnished bedrooms.. Clearly Radosek and his bodyguard slept up here. The furnishings in the rooms along with the artwork on the walls of ?summer? images would be worth around 750gp. A book rests on one of the night stands by the bed.

To the east the doorway opens up to another bedroom, this one clearly more opulent than the other two. Rich luxuriant bedding with an enormously high thread count sits on the bed while to the south a white linen curtain hangs in the doorway.

Venja takes the time to peruse the documents, then turns her attention to the globe.

spellcraft: 1d20 + 11 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 11 + 4 + 2 = 36 +1 more if it's cold/ice related

Mighty fine furniture to sell for cash I reckon. Jetro muses as he looks at the bedrooms.

Variel takes a look at the remaining items and tries to identify them as well.

potions 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10
scrolls 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10
ring 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10

Wow, I haven't seen that before. Three 1's in a row. I can't wait to get into the next combat. Variel knows absolutely nothing at all

Trying to play off his ignorance VAriel looks around the room at other stuff and lets the items set not he table.

That sounds like a great idea Jetro. Split everything up as well as we can.

You are part cat, you meant to do that.

Venja you are able to figure out exactly how the key line is being used to create the connection. It is a winter witch trick of conjuring the cold from one area and bringing it to the other. You are pretty sure that if you cast a conjuration spell on the ley line while standing in the summoning circle on the floor you could disrupt the flow along this ley line. The problem is that you will have to concentrate on reversing the effect while the spell is being cast. Also you realize that only by being in the circle can the effect be ended here. IT won't do anything for any other portals that may be opened. By closing this one here though you will be resigning everyone to the fact that they are stuck here with no immediate path home.

Sorry Jetro, fixed it up above to answer you about splitting up the loot.

1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10 Really 4 in a row...
