SPECIAL ABILITIES
------------------------------
Alternate Human Slayer Favoured Class Bonus: Gain 1/6 of a new slayer talent.
Strike First, Strike Last (Ex): A guerrilla adds half his level on Stealth checks when remaining motionless and reduces the penalty on Stealth checks when sniping by an equal amount. He also gains this bonus on his initiative checks in surprise rounds whenever he is aware of the surprise round and at least one enemy is unaware. This replaces track and swift tracker
Studied Target (Ex): A slayer can study an opponent he can see as a move action. The slayer then gains a +1 bonus on Bluff, Knowledge, Perception, Sense Motive, and Survival checks attempted against that opponent, and a +1 bonus on weapon attack and damage rolls against it. The DCs of slayer class abilities against that opponent increase by 1. A slayer can only maintain these bonuses against one opponent at a time; these bonuses remain in effect until either the opponent is dead or the slayer studies a new target. If a slayer deals sneak attack damage to a target, he can study that target as an immediate action, allowing him to apply his studied target bonuses against that target (including to the normal weapon damage roll).

Background:
Born Pavo Albus in Kintargo, Pavo was raised with an ambition to work for the Thrice Damned House of Thrune, and so he did. He worked for them as an assassin for a number of years, mainly within the borders of Cheliax, but ocaissionally outside them. He was of the opinion he was good, but someone must have decided to get rid of him. He was doing a job in Egorian, and rather than the criminal thug he was expecting, he ended up facing a number of Kuthites, who were able to over-power him. Rather than kill him however, they removed his lips and nose, and put deep scars in his cheeks, the marks of one of the most pitiful beggar classes of Egorian, and tossed him naked into the night, so that his expected suffering would hopefully drive him to their god. Instead, he attempted to return to his masters, who renounced him, and jeered at his misfortune. If he was stupid enough to get caught and marked, he was no use to them. Seething, he remained in Egorian for a while, but he was forced into begging. Eventually, he managed to organise a way out of the city, as he had a stash of equipment on the outskirts. Once he retrieved it, he swore vengeance on his masters in the Thrice Damned House of Thrune, deciding to undermine it. He also wished vengeance on the kuthites who marked him, but realised he couldn't re-enter Egorian, not marked as he was. Deciding to return to Kintargo, where he hoped to lay low for a while. Once he had returned to his home city, due to his scarring, he was only able to find work as a trapper, which frequently takes him outside the city. Barzillai Thrune's arrival however, and the curfew and edicts it brought with it, have made both this business, and his efforts to undermine House Thrune, less stable.
Appearance and Personality:
Appearance Pavo is reasonably short, only 5' 3", and is constantly seen with a hooded cloak and a scarf wrapped round his face. He uses this scarf to cover his most distinctive features, his lack of a nose or lips, the marks of an Egorian denatsate. Aside from these horrifyingly iconic scars, he also has a number of minor burn scars on his cheek. Pavo walks with a slight limp, but not pronounced enough to be detrimental, and he is missing the fourth finger on his right hand. He keeps his brown hair cut back so it fits comfortably beneath the hood of his cloak.
Personality Pavo loathes House Thrune after what they let happen to him, and their disavowal of him, and will do anything to work against them. He is not unsympathetic to the plight of those who suffer due to the actions of the rulers of Cheliax, however undermining House Thrune is always his primary goal. He is willing to work with others, however his facial scarring can sometimes act against him in the quest for allies. He despises the true devotees of evil gods such as Zon-Kuthon or Asmodeus, however he doesn't look down on those who pay lip service to Asmodeus in order to escape the wrath of the Chelaxian government. He doesn't seek to kill those just doing their jobs, instead aiming for those who are more loyal to House Thrune and Queen Abrogail, but he doesn't harbour any mercy for those that intentionally stand in his way.
