"Whomever is there, show yourself, we can hear you and sense you." she utters, finishing with a growl with bared teeth.

Seeing Mel looking around the room for someone or something, Mori sniffs at the air trying to determine what is there.

Can detect direction of a scent within 30' as a move and approach. If within 5' can pinpoint the location of the target. If she picks up an unfamiliar scent she'll try to close to pinpoint the location.

As the creatures swoop down, Mori lunges for the one attempting to grab Anevia.

Mori will continue to delay until the creatures have fled or are within reach. Can't cast and have no ranged in her bear form, so not much else to do.

Mori paces back and forth , waiting for the creatures to come closer to the ground.

I'll delay until they're within reach, not much else I can do.

Mori lets out a low growl as she peers up into the darkness. "Be wary, there are shadows moving above us friends."

As the group heads out of the temple, Mori moves over to the side to let the others pass. She calls upon her magic to shield her, then as she'd done briefly the previous day, she curls up on the ground and focuses, calling out the spirit bound within her.

After a minute, the spectral ursine form finishes coalescing around her and opens its eyes.

"It will be good to get moving again. The sooner I see sky again, the better. I will guard the rear of the procession as before."

GM Nightdeath: Wanted to point out that Mori is Init +2 when in her Kami form, +0 otherwise.

Keeping watch at the rear of the group, Mori stands alert. When the argument up ahead stops and Mel calls out a warning to Aravashnial, she springs into action.

Rushing past Horgus and the others in the hall, she barrels into the room, locking eyes on the nearest of the two roaches. Growling as she charges, she attempts to take a bite out of the nearest one.

Full-Round Action: Charge (+2 hit, -2 AC)

I'm fine with whomever moving the group while maintaining the same marching order. Can probably advance us a good bit into A2.

Vaguely relieved at having avoided discovering exactly what giant maggot tastes like, Mori sits back on her haunches as the others clean up.

She listens as Horgus begins to berate the old elf. My first impression of that man was definitely right. Letting out what can only be interpreted as an exasperated huff, she circles around to the back of the group and paces back and forth as the others attempt to rein in the ill-tempered human.

Seeing the gruesome maggots burst forth, Mori lets forth a loud growl and begins lumbering towards the nearest of the two. As she reaches the vile creature, she lunges forth, her fearsome maw snapping at it.

Seeing Koba and Daylen moving to flank the demonic spider carcass, Mori alters her course and heads up the middle directly at it.

As she advances she begins focusing exclusively on the shifting carcass, preparing to charge should it rise.

This stench, so foul, so unnatural... sets my hair on end.

Mori moves up to the right of Mel and Aravashnial, trying to get a closer look at what he's referring to. Catching sight of the arachnid on the ground, she tenses up, baring her teeth reflexively and growling.

A giant spider. Be cautious, there may be others.

Mori watches it for a moment and then begins sniffing at the air and scanning around the cavern slowly.

Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23

Add another +8 if there's anything to detect by scent.

Knowledge(Nature): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17

For any relevant/useful information about the spider.

The creature looks around for a moment, its eyes shining like rubies in the torch light.

The world always seems so strange through these eyes. I wish I could ask him if this is how he saw things. Everything always seems smaller, more distant somehow.

After getting its bearings, it speaks, its voice a low growl. "I do not normally assume this form in the presence of others."

It sniffs at the air and looks around for again before fixing its gaze on Daylen. "I am ready."
