With its back turned toward them, the monster doesn’t notice that another dwarf has run into the room.
Moralane, who seemed to have disappeared for a brief moment, suddenly returns. In her right hand she is wielding the slim, long handled axe from the table in the previous room, while in her left she is carrying the metal cestus.
She tosses the cestus through the air toward Mixz
Mixz! Do you think this might help? she yells
Mixz can make a Reflex Save, on a 14+ she can catch the cestus and put it on in Round 4
Charging at the monster, Moralane attacks with the axe

Beyond that door is the place where the master prepares all his creations, or parts of them anyway. The master, Auglahm Ergothal, is a goblin wizard with incredible powers. He built the skeleton that guards the shrine and the dwarven prisoners.
Moralane seems to be staring off into nothing when it is as if a light goes on in her eyes
Wait, one of those goblins mentioned something about a shrine and dwarven prisoners. Do we know where this shrine is?

There are two passages that run away from the entry area, where the ghouls were destroyed
Moralane, smiles at Hallister’s words of encouragement, and then shrugs
Where do we go now? Seems like this place is definitely some sort of goblin after life related shrine, or shrines, but will we find the Vampire Queen here?

When the grisly deed is done, Miagnik returns to wondering if there is anything the others might know that might shed some light on the situation. Suddenly, Moralane’s eyes grow wide
I think I see what’s going on here. These tombs, like the one of the good king who helped us above, are here because there are temples to the goblin gods of death here. This woman, this maid of honor is human. If the goblin god’s cursed her, then it makes sense that Omara would want the temples sealed away from any goblin worshippers, to reduce their power. Maybe that’s what she needs to do to be able to overpower the curse in the first place.

I have two older brothers. They used to think it was funny to lead me into the forest near our father’s estate and lose me. I guess I learned from an early age how to find my way home by following their trail. When I got older, and it wasn’t fun for them anymore, I suppose I liked being in that forest on my own more than I liked being in my father’s house.

Moralane guides the others in a slow, silent march along the path of the muddy boot prints. The group reaches a set of doors on the right, and Moralane studies the floor for a few minutes
There is a lot of back and forth traffic here, some boots go into through those doors, while some continue on down that way she points further ahead.
Here’s the thing though, Moralane stands up and folds her arms looking off in the distanceI don’t see any sign of the armored boots of those skeletons. I don’t think they came from this way when we ran into them

Moralane gives Rownig a glare of disapproval, and then cautiously creeps to the north, staying close to the east wall.
She disappears from sight, in the darkness to the north, and returns almost as soon as she is gone, hustling as fast as she can.
This passageway goes on for a long way to the north, and there is a small side passage on the left. I can see dirty foot prints going that way. These are not foot prints made by the armored boots of those skeletons, but more like dwarven mining boots. They come from further north, and go down the new passage to the west. I didn't follow them and thought I should come back and tell the rest of you.

I’d prefer not to hang around here any longer myself, Moralane says to no one in particular, and then she turns to Hallister and asks Do you think Stephanie was right? If one of those creatures was the same one we fought last week and it came back then does that mean that no matter what we do these will come back as well?
And then Moralane turns and stares at Stephanie as she moves away.

When Moralane sees Hallister burst into a run charging down the passageway, she curses under her breath and then shouts
Alright then, let’s take them down
She moves forward, feeling the energy of the magic spell pulsing through her body, and draws an arrow. When she thinks she has moved far enough, she is surprised to see how far she has gone.
Move to J,0
She aims carefully and fires, watching as Hallister lands a powerful blow to the center Giant's groin
The arrow flies straight and true, heading right for the center giant’s head
Critical?:1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Hitting the giant’s mouth, and striking it in one of its large teeth, the arrow is a good shoot, but if it had been higher, it would have been a great shot

Atharessa and I will stay here, watch over Dwarbon, and the chest, while the rest of you can go into the village proper and get whatever it is you think you need. And probably check out the ruin of that house you were talking about, maybe there is something we can learn from what’s left of the place.

My father? You know he would be so mad at me for telling you this, but secretly he hates Anrollo Guisse, he won't even let that man visit our estate unless our men out number his three to one. But, our family was second to be granted lands in this part of the kingdom, after Guisse, and before Inarossa, and when some of our holdings were given over to Inarossa some said it was because my father spoke out too harshly against the King in his raising of the tariffs and fees on fishing. So, I know my father would not stand in defense of Guisse, but he isn't likely to stand up against him either, unless it was like Atharessa says, and the evidence is strong. As far as the Goblin situation is concerned, all she has to do is ask me, and I will follower her, my father be damned.
the last part seems to come off of Moralane's lips before she really is sure she wanted to say it, and she quickly turns her face away, to avoid being seen by Stephanie, and it is obvious that Moralane is uncomfortable and blushing

Answering Hallister, but looking toward Stephanie with worry in her eyes, Moralane says
Oh, well, um, yes. You see I remember that that spider-goblin woman said something about Omara not returning until the end of the month or something like that. With this being only the ninth day of the month, that means she might not return for another twenty one days. So, I was thinking we could wait until the end of the month, by then she will have returned, but she will probably know something is wrong, what with the troll dead, the chest gone, and who knows what’s going to happen to that spider woman, or we could hurry up here, as fast as we can, and get back before Omara has returned and maybe set a trap for her, but that would mean trying to figure out just how much time we’ve got to spare. You know, if we need to, I can throw my weight around in the village, maybe put them to work on some special weapons for us, if you think that will help.

Hallister, you’ve said many times that you have some experience with these creatures, and from what I’ve seen I don’t doubt it at all. So tell us, what’s our next move? Do we wait for a few days, until we are sure Omara has returned as that Goblin creature said she would and then charge right down toward her lair, or should we get back as soon as we can and set a trap for her? In my opinion…

Day 8, morning, turn 53 (Turn of the Clock, The approximate time of day is 8:40 am)
Moralne stands by the door ready to open it and then quietly announces
I only have seven arrows left. When those are gone, I’ll have the sword, but let’s hope we can find some arrows before we get to that. So, where are we going?

Moralane gives Hallister a curious look, and shrugs her should, and then she whispers to him, ”Don’t you think Atharessa would be better at that than me? Oh, well. I’ll do what I can, for you.”
Morane approaches Stephanie and she puts her right hand on her own left arm as she says, ”Stephanie, Princess Stephanie, I mean. Look, you know, it’s not normal, you know, for people to be in a place like this, doing the kinds of things we’re doing, but the others, there smart, and strong, and good people. We’ll find the rest of your family, right? I mean, you said you were all travelling together with the Dwarven Princess, when you, you were attacked, and if they brought you here then, you know, they probably brought the rest of your family here to, and, and well, we’ll find them, and we’ll find the Dwarven Princess, and when we do, we’ll save them. I think we will, yeah, I think we will.”
And then she sits down on the ground and pats the floor next to her.
”Why don’t you lie down here, next to me, you can, um, rest your head on me, and get some sleep. I’ll keep you safe, um, I mean, Atharessa and I will keep you safe until we find your parents.”
Stephanie:
Though you are young, it is not as if you are naive, and it seems to you that this attractive Dwarven girl, Moralane, is uncomfortable talking to you, but her body language and intense eyes say something different. Make a Sense Motive Skill Check, please

It is a Surprise Round, and Hallister can rush the door, but he cannot close it in time. The door slides into a pocket, making it difficult to close without putting forth some effort (a Full Round Action is required to shut this door).

Moralane turns her eyes away from Melodak, as the goblin woman strips naked and dons another new set of half-chain armor, and then after hearing Atharessa’s concerns, she takes the large dwarven woman by the arm and says,
“Not a chance I’m not letting you out of my sight. We have an agreement. Now, I don’t like bringing up these kinds of things, but damn it, Atha, I’ve gone out on a limb for you and we are going to see this through.
