Dayjob (Craft: Alchemy): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (16) + 10 = 26

boon roll: 1d20 ⇒ 13

(This Chronicle won't be applied to a goblin character or one that has either of the other two Chronicles you mentioned)

Thanks GM & fellow players--that was a really fun run!

(I haven't yet played We Be Goblins Too! or We B4 Goblins)

Mogmurch cackles as the thing continues to burn!

The second round of the last alchemist's fire will do an additional 1d6 damage. Meanwhile, he'll do Total Defense.

Previous alchemist's fire: 1d6 ⇒ 6

Mogmurch flings a vial of alchemist's fire, his eyes hopeful of seeing the effigy in flames!

It'll get soft cover, and I will factor in the -4 for making a ranged attack at a character in melee. I think the goblin on the left side of the effigy will take 1 point of splash damage.

Alchemist's Fire w/ throw anything & firing into melee vs Touch AC: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15
damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1

"Me no burn--you burn!" Mogmurch hurls one of his dwindling number of improvised explosives.

Precise shot to exclude allies. The effigy will get soft cover because Mogmurch is hiding behind Squeely Nord :)

Bomb Ranged touch attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10
damage: 2d6 + 3 ⇒ (2, 1) + 3 = 6

1/7 bombs, 3/4 alchemist's fires left

That could be bad! Going to use my shirt re-roll to try that again.

Bomb Ranged touch attack reroll with 3 GM stars: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (10) + 12 = 22

"Yi yi yi!" Mogmurch runs and hides between Squeely Nord.

Total defense, move action that will provoke an AoO.

Reflex save vs fire: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21

Mogmurch knows he's the most clever goblin ever! Slipping a stinky concoction out of his pocket, he smears all over the ground.

Applying salve of slipperiness to the indicated area.

Salve of slipperiness:
his substance provides a +20 competence bonus on all Escape Artist checks and combat maneuver checks made to escape from a grapple. The salve also grants a +10 competence bonus to the wearer’s Combat Maneuver Defense for the purpose of avoiding grapple attempts. In addition, such obstructions as webs (magical or otherwise) do not affect an anointed individual. Magic ropes and the like do not avail against this salve. If it is smeared on a floor or on steps, the area should be treated as a long-lasting grease spell. The salve requires 8 hours to wear off normally, or it can be wiped off with an alcohol solution (even wine).

Salve of slipperiness is needed to coat the inside of a container meant to hold sovereign glue.

The pic of the effigy is great!

Mogmurch steps carefully as well.

Stealth: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (19) + 16 = 35

"Goblins kill and goblins sing,
Mogmurch bombs and Mogmurch king!"

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13

Poog suddenly breaks out of the harpy's spell! He gets out his favorite javelin, already thinking about roast harpy for dinner!

Poog readies an action to throw a javelin if the harpy flies back down.

Poog Will Save: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28
Poog's Thrown Javelin: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26
damage: 1d4 ⇒ 2

Meanwhile, having saved the day once again, Mogmurch giggles and goes back to looking for truffles!

Total Defence and an active Perception check--they gotta be around here somewhere!

Perception for Truffles: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10

Mogmurch is torn. If all the other goblins get killed, he'll be the undisputed leader of the tribe! But if all the other goblins get killed, he won't have anyone to boss around! Curiosity about what happens when a harpy explodes gets the better of him, and he decides to hurl another explosive.

throwing a bomb, excluding allies. DC 15 Reflex for half.

bomb attack vs touch: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (18) + 9 = 27
fire damage: 2d6 + 3 ⇒ (6, 6) + 3 = 15

2/7 bombs, 3/4 alchemist's fires left

That's weird! When I previewed the Will saves, Mogmurch made it and Poog failed--and now it's saying the opposite. GM, do you want me to revise the post?

Although Poog continues to drool, Mogmurch shakes himself out of the alluring song. "Chief Mogmurch save day again!" He hurls a firebomb right at the harpy!

Throwing a bomb and using precise bombs discovery to exclude allies.

Bomb attack vs Touch: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26

Bomb damage (DC 15 Reflex for half): 2d6 + 3 ⇒ (2, 3) + 3 = 8

Mogmurch Will save: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (7) + 0 = 7

Poog Will save: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25

3/7 bombs, 3/4 alchemist's fires left

Poog's head slumps as he listens intently to the music.

Poog's Will Save: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12

"Purty muzik . . ."

Mogmurch's Will save: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (15) + 0 = 15

Poog is amazed to see his wand still has more magic! He sends a ball of fire streaking upwards toward the harpy.

Fireball: 5d6 ⇒ (3, 4, 5, 3, 2) = 17

Mogmurch doesn't want to become harpy food, so he covers his ears in case the flying meanie sings!

Mogmurch takes advantage of his invisible head-start to find the super-bestest number one truffles!

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19

Whew! Assassin vines can be pretty nasty if they get ahold of someone.

Poog tries his magic wand of again, but this time it crumbles into dust after making the fire. Poor Poog!

fireball: 5d6 ⇒ (1, 4, 4, 4, 6) = 19

Meanwhile, Mogurch continues invisibly looking for truffles.

Moving half speed to stay stealthy. Sorry guys, I don't have a lot that can hurt this thing if it's resistant to fire.

Mogmurch giggles as he sneaks about, heading for where the truffles must be hidden.

Moving closer at half speed to keep stealthy.

Poog shoots more fire at the plant monster!

Wand of fireball; one charge left after this.

Fireball: 5d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 3, 5, 5) = 20

Thinking he's extremely clever and will get all the truffles for himself, Mogmurch eats a pickle he's been marinating in a homemade brew and promptly turns invisible!

Downing an invisibility extract.

Meanwhile, Poog knows the answer to anything resistant to fire is more fire! He draws a redwood wand from his belt and and shoots a massive ball of fire at the plant!

Using Poog's wand of fireballs. It'll get a Reflex save for half damage, so this still might not do anything.

fireball damage: 5d6 ⇒ (6, 1, 2, 6, 6) = 21

Doing Poog's turn

Like every goblin, Poog likes fire--and burning a plant monster sure sounds like fun!

Fire Bolt (ranged touch attack): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19
damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

Mogmurch bravely orders his minions into battle while rubbing a sticky gray paste all over himself.

Defoliant Polish:
This container of sickly gray paste can coat the armor of one Medium or two Small creatures. Affected objects produce dark gray fumes for the next 24 hours. These fumes cause natural plants to wilt and diminish as soon as they come into contact with the affected armor. This allows the wearer to move through terrain made difficult due to the presence of vegetation as if it were normal terrain, though the creature leaves a clear path of ruined vegetation. In addition, creatures belonging to the plant type that target someone protected by defoliant polish with a natural attack or grapple take 1 point of damage with each successful attack.

Knowledge (nature): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13

Mogmurch doesn't hesitate as he runs at super-speed, knowing the best trufffles await.

Intelligence: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8

Mogmurch drinks and potion and his little legs start moving super fast as he races toward the tree!

drinking an expeditious retreat potion--no one's going to beat me to those truffles!

Mogmurch greedily grabs the alchemist's fire and puts on the gold hoop earrings.

Mogmurch eagerly ransacks the wagons, looking for bomb-making ingredients, pickles, shiny magic, and more pickles.

Mogmurch just can't help himself--those longshanks really look like they want to be burned alive! He tosses one of his homemade bombs out of the wagon, and it bounces a couple of times before exploding. Something goes wrong with his mixture though, and none of his rival chiefs are caught in the blast.

Going to throw an explosive bomb at the dude I marked in Blue, using precise bombs discovery to exclude my allies. If the attack hits, Blue takes __ damage and must make a DC 15 Reflex save or catch on fire. Red will take 5 points of splash.

Explosive bomb vs Blue (Touch AC, but with soft cover): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18
damage: 2d6 + 3 ⇒ (5, 2) + 3 = 10

3/7 bombs, 3/4 alchemist's fires left

Savoring the smell of burning horse flesh and the screams of stupid longshanks, Mogmurch begins rooting around in the cart. There could be stuff to burn, blow up, or even eat--maybe all three!

Going to conserve my limited resources since the situation looks under control, because once my expendables are gone, Mogmurch isn't going to be terribly useful for remaining encounters.

"Horses neigh and horses stomp
Mogmurch burns to make them stop!"

Mogmurch hurls the flask of alchemist's fire at the nearest horse, cackling madly.

alchemist's fire (touch attack): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29
damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3
threat confirmation: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (18) + 9 = 27
extra crit damage: 1d6 ⇒ 5

4/7 bombs, 3/4 alchemist's fires left]

Hearing the horses whinnying, Mogmurch makes his way to the front of the cart again and peeks out. Seeing the hoof-foots still tethered there, he pulls out a flask of alchemist's fire and begins to cackle.

One move action to move, one move action to draw the flask.

Jealous that everyone's having so much fun, Mogmurch slips over to the other side of the wagon, peeks out, and hurls a bomb at the nearest longshanks!

Bomb (vs Touch AC): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14
damage: 2d6 + 3 ⇒ (1, 6) + 3 = 10

4/7 bombs left

Worried those mean horses will seek revenge, Mogmurch pulls up a canvas flap on the wagon and slips inside!

Mogmurch giggles as he lights the fuse on a special bomb packed with bird poo--it blows stuff up even better than his normal bombs! He picks the perfect spot to burn those evil mean horses!

Throwing an explosive bomb right in the center of the horses at the red cross. All but the furthest left one will take 5 points of splash damage, but they get a DC 15 Reflex save to halve it.

attack roll vs intersection: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12

Explosive Bomb:
The alchemist’s bombs now have a splash radius of 10 feet rather than 5 feet (see Throw Splash Weapon). Creatures that take a direct hit from an explosive bomb catch fire, taking 1d6 points of fire damage each round until the fire is extinguished. Extinguishing the flames is a full-round action that requires a Reflex save. Rolling on the ground provides the target with a +2 to the save. Dousing the target with at least 2 gallons of water automatically extinguishes the flames.

5/7 bombs left today.

Mogmurch's normally-wide grin gets even wider as he spots the four horses near the wagon. Horses are the best to set on fire, cuz they can't roll on the ground or pour water on themselves! He moves carefully toward them, keeping himself out of view of the men.

Stealth: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (18) + 16 = 34

"Chief Mogmurch lead army tribe to get truffles and blow up stupid humans!"

"Die bird die!"

Rock: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15
damage: 1d3 - 1 ⇒ (3) - 1 = 2

"Bomb better, but rocks will do!"

Rock: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (12) + 9 = 21
damage: 1d3 - 1 ⇒ (3) - 1 = 2

If Mogmurch could count, he'd be mad about the outcome of the fireworks game :)

"Fire best, Mogmurch win!" He shoots all his fireworks at the dogs.

attack 1: 1d20 + 9 - 6 ⇒ (10) + 9 - 6 = 13
attack 2: 1d20 + 9 - 6 ⇒ (9) + 9 - 6 = 12
attack 3: 1d20 + 9 - 6 ⇒ (12) + 9 - 6 = 15
attack 4: 1d20 + 9 - 6 ⇒ (17) + 9 - 6 = 20

"Go Go Chub-Chub!"

Ride to stay mounted: 1d20 + 9 - 5 ⇒ (14) + 9 - 5 = 18
Ride to jump: 1d20 + 9 - 5 ⇒ (8) + 9 - 5 = 12
Ride to avoid damage: 1d20 + 9 - 5 ⇒ (5) + 9 - 5 = 9

"Mogmurch Best! Blow Up the Rest!

The crazy goblin hurls a bomb at the pumpkin head (and any competitors near enough to be caught in the blast).

Ride: 1d20 + 9 - 5 ⇒ (7) + 9 - 5 = 11
Bomb!: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 25
damage: 2d6 + 3 ⇒ (1, 4) + 3 = 8

Mogmurch slaps Chub-Chub to speed up.

Ride check: 1d20 + 9 - 5 ⇒ (12) + 9 - 5 = 16

"Mogmurch best chief, and Chub-Chub super-bestest better-than-all-the-restest dog!"

Ride: 1d20 + 9 - 5 ⇒ (7) + 9 - 5 = 11

"Ouch! Stupid dog! Jump better!"

Ride # 2: 1d20 + 9 - 5 ⇒ (2) + 9 - 5 = 6

"Me blow you up!"

Ride # 3: 1d20 + 9 - 5 ⇒ (16) + 9 - 5 = 20

"Mogmurch and Chub-Chub friends again."

Mogmurch claps and dances.

"Reta and Munge sittin' in tree
First come axe, then ask me
I throw fire, they die happy!"

Mogmurch watches eagerly, hoping to get raw materials for his clever new "bomb hidden in head" trick!
