Paizo appeared to take a giant step forward a few weeks ago with the recognition of UPW. This blog post is nothing but them walking through the yard stepping on rakes and having the rakes smack them in the face. Twice. TWICE. Twice you have the President of Paizo admit he was the main reason for terrible actions. And, yet, he retains his job. I believe we can all figure out why he still has his job. And it comes across as shady AF to hear that Paizo may be deleting every post by Diego. Shady AF. For the one giant step forward Paizo took, they managed to take about 15 steps back with this post.

I have not yet read all the AP. I am curious if everything that happens and is referenced in the path limited to just the city of Otari and the lighthouse. More specifically, if I were to uproot the city and lighthouse and drop those 2 things into a homebrew world, could I run the books as is? Or would I have to modify some things because X,Y and Z refer to Golarion specific things?

Hello there. I just added a new payment method to my account. I cannot figure out how to delete the old one. To clarify, I want to delete the card that expires in '24. I want to use the card that expires in '25. Thank you.

Based on seeing the sticky post about keeping Paizo employees home as much as possible right now (which is a good policy) will this affect this month's shipments at all? I'm fine if it will. I would just like to know.

There are so many things to keep track of mechanically. It's easy to forget even the simple things that your weapon or armor can do. Much like the more mundane items of this set. It's very beneficial to have something like a card sitting right in front of you with all the relevant info on it.

I've never emailed CS before. I did a couple of days ago. My question is this - about how long should I expect to wait for a reply? Just so I have a rough idea. I have no time frame reference for this. This is not an attack at CS. It's me being curious.

Hello there. I am running a 2e mini campaign for friends with the purpose of all of us learning the rules and whatnot. To that end I would like to have sessions and encounters designed to focus on the high points of their classes. They are a monk, champion, ranger and cleric. I kind of have something for the champion as there have been and will be undead. What are some ideas for the other classes? I plan on having a session that focuses on the ranger that involves tracking through the forest.

So I just received a notification that my credit card has fraud on it. I'm in the process of acquiring a new card. I have already received my order spawn email, but not the shipment email. If I change to a new card before shipment will that affect shipment as it will be a different card than order spawn?

I never found myself *really* getting into the lore in PF1. But now with PF2 I find myself wanting to read more and more myth and lore. And these Windsong Testament posts are a great boon to people like me. Thank you for writing them!

I appreciate the reply, but that is not what I'm having trouble understanding. I have a good feel for how regular crafting works. I'm stuck on how everything in the special materials adds up. To me there are things not explained. Chunks? Ingots? etc.

I come to the forum seeking answers because something is not clicking in my brain on this topic. I understand the different grades. They are used for lower and higher level items. In looking at the various statblocks on precious materials (CRB 578) I was finally able to suss out what they meant in referring to thin items and whatnot. Awkward wording in my opinion. I see different materials having different costs based on the grade/level if the item. But, how do those prices mix with the chunks/ingots above that? I can't figure this out. If someone could explain this to me I would be grateful. Take me step by step.

So, the playtest is under way. I assume people are submitting survey answers when they have playtested something. My question is this - will there be a 2nd version of rules to playtest? Or will we only ever have this one version before a final product?

One debate that is occurring across a few threads in this forum is should an Oracle's Curse be always on or tied to the uses of the Revelation spells? I say put me down for the curse being always on. If it is tied to usage of Revelation spells it is too easy to opt out of a major part of the theme of the class. In PF1 curses were always on. They never increased or decreased in intensity. I started thinking about why I liked my Oracle from 1st edition. I liked that I could create a healer that had more freedom in spell usage. Unlike a Cleric, I could cast whatever I wanted whenever I wanted assuming I had spell slots left. I was more limited than a Cleric yet I had more freedom. The curse was something that I used to help flesh out who my Oracle was. I went with the language curse because it was interesting to start speaking a language no one else in the party understood during combat. In PF2 I still have the limited flexibility that I had in 1e. I'm good with that. As it stands right now I can create a Life Oracle and take her to level 20 and never once get hit with a curse. At all. That doesn't seem right. Or thematically appropriate. For the people that want curses tied to revelation spellcasting - why?

Having answers to this question be limited to book 6 content or post campaign content is kinda, well, limiting. I would love to see more info be given here that can be applied to the AP as a whole. This section would be a good place to have developer's comments about the AP. Ideas and themes they were shooting for. Maybe additional mechanics for any downtime that may be experienced during the campaign. This is a good space to flesh out the AP. Because if you're concerned with putting things here that people who start running the AP as soon as book 1 comes out won't see, that only happens during the first 6 months of an AP's lifespan. After that, all books are available at all times. So, I'm much more an advocate for info that benefits the AP as a whole in this section.

Hey James. Yet another Sandpoint question for my upcoming Sandpoint campaign. In order to make it feel like a living world I would like to incorporate events in the background from other APs. Mainly, I will at some point have a certain NPC go off to begin her journey. And I plan on having the start of Shattered Star happen in the background away from the PCs. Now, I would like to have the culmination of SS affect Sandpoint. My question is this - what would be a good amount of time passage for SS? 2 months? 6 months? A year? I don't have the books so I can't read to get a feel. I'm curious so I have a good idea when to have events happen. Thanks

I just noticed that this order was shipped without any AP book. My Pathfinder AP was accidentally cancelled by Sam Phelan. It was supposedly added back in. What happened? Did I lose a discount because of this? It's also not showing up in my digital content so something is apparently wrong here. Would appreciate help from the fantastic Paizo CS team. Although this post may read that way, I am not mad at anyone. I'm curious as to what happened.
