Chirps a black grease painted, green armored, green haired wreck of a gnome who suddenly appears from the shadows.
She points her light crossbow at the quickly retreating rapier wielding fiend and fires! Hitting him soundly (atk and dmg were posted via PM to DM)

She keeps talking while she runs after her target.

Y'alls must'n be them whose traipsin' through this here purdy unders-ground cunstrukshun.

Sorry for not being on this weekend. Crazy food poisoning thing from oyster and beer fest.

Have you considered running the other First Step scenarios? If so, count me in.

Miette screams in anger at the burning mucus blob who then fires another bolt of doom!
Doom!: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 4 + 1 = 13Dmg: 1d6 ⇒ 1

ugh.

Keeping a steady aim on the acid spewing harlot,
Doom!: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10Dmg: 1d6 ⇒ 3

Obviously not so steady......

Not bad.

Miette moves to F2 and fires at acid spewing harlot:
Doom!: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15Dmg: 1d6 ⇒ 3

Growling at being harangued, Miette draws and fires her trusty Light Crossbow of Doom at the acid spewing woman!
Doom: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 4 + 1 = 24Dmg: 1d6 ⇒ 3

Beaming brightly Miette bows, thanks our hostess then gleefully skips out the door....

After the Imp has been banished Miette subtly slides the riding crop back into one of her pockets.

Our blue and valiant heroine courageously entered the Dominatrix' lair behind the three big'uns whereupon she inadvertently positions herself next to the imp.

"Give me the box or I shall whip you silly, or ride you...whichever worries you most!!!"
Intimidate: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15

AOO due to Imp moving next to Miette? I ask as I'm curious, did the powder fall while the imp was moving next to Miette? Did the Imp's movement create an AOO? Etc...?

From one of her many pockets Miette quickly whips out a silver riding crop...you have no idea where acquired....

Riding crop: 1d20 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 1 + 2 = 23Dmg: 1d4 ⇒ 1
Crit confirm: 1d20 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 1 + 2 = 11Dmg: 1d4 ⇒ 4

Rolling dice under the assumption that the imp will not willing give the box over.

Init: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11

Miette, clearly out of her element decides to take in the room's condition, staying behind the formidable trio.

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13

"Great, another box for another smurfy color"

Glancing over her shoulder at Zarta,
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22

"Right behind you Mr. Grumpy Pants. You just poke it with that letter opener and we'll head back to headquarters."

Taking a good look at the letter opener:

MW thieves tools seem to fit Miette's skill set. Beyond that, powder, cards and dice please...our adventuress has a mischievous streak.

Riding the safe down to the boat, posed in glorious fashion of course...

After opening the safe, Miette exclaims joyfully,
"Dibbs on the tools and toys!"

Miette deftly threads the chest with one end of the silken rope, knotting securely.

"Lower away!"
looking down towards the boat and then back at the boys...

Looking up at Frunobulax Miette appears nervous and a bit reluctant.

"Umm ok.
What about we fix the crane first, then lower me above the crate, I tie everything together and ride the crate down to the boat? Much more fun I think!"

"Even though I am very agile I'd prefer to be lowered down to the crate from the crane."
"Maybe someone should move the boat over before we attempt this. The crate looks precariously balanced and I'd hate to lose it in the water."

Does the crane have working lowering mechanisms? Block and tackle, etc...

In an attempt to seem intelligent, Miette excitedly blurts:

"Didn't I see a boat outside? Could we maneuver the vessel underneath the box and drop it?"

Looking up at the wand in Frunoblax's hand,
"I've had bad experiences with magic wands before...so unless it removes the blue, you can keep it. I agree with Mr. Fussy Pants, lets get out of here and thump 'Mr I'm so important I can lock people up in a basement' on the head."

Sorry about this weekend's lack of posting, very busy on the front lines (house).

Exclaims the excitable blue gnome yet oddly enough she does not reach for it ...

Turning towards Nijena and tugging on her tunic, "I think he means you pretty lady although which key will you use? The scepter key or the golden key."
Then walking towards the evil blue squirting steel box,
"I'd prefer you to use the golden key as the scepter key will be good to bonk old fussy pants 'Mr Amenopheus, the Sapphire Sage, advisor to Master Salha' over the head."

Veruca Salt, I mean Miette stops and stamps her feet looking to all like a spoiled royalty brat screams:
"I want it off and I want if off now!"

Pausing then looking at her hands...
"Actually I like it. Now where were we?"

"EEEK!"
Running frantically around the room"Get it off me!", Miette screams.

Nice bro, nice

"Looks like I'm up...not in the air mind you but to check out this lock before one of you slides a key in and blows us all up...Remind me, why are we doing this again?"

Squatting down next to the steel cube and looking at it from all sides she chooses a 45 degree angle from which to work. You notice Miette pulling out a well oiled pouch containing old yet meticulously kept picks.

Disable D: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9

Wow. Angry dice.

With characteristic flourish Miette bows to you all:
"I bid you adieu."

Running up and hugging Frun's legs
"Thank you Mr. Grumpy. It looks like you saved me from a nasty trap!"

Blushing slightly Miette looks at Furnobulax saying
"All right Grumpy, I guess it is time to play my least favorite game..."

Quickly scampering away from Frunobulax and exclaiming
"Unless anyone has a better idea!"

If not, toss away.
Should I roll an Acrobatics check in concert with his strength check?

After an arduous climb and much complaining to herself Miette moves toward the wounded BE:
Acro: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18
and slashes:
Dagger: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4Dmg: 1d3 ⇒ 3

If we weren't in a dire situation Miette's dagger attacks would be comical.

As fun as it might be to play throw the gnome let's try some prestidigitation instead.
Miette scrunches her face up, wiggles her fingers at the 15' key and in a very masculine tone: Buurrrpp

Flatulence has always been an unfortunate side effect of successful minor magics for Miette.
