Thanks to everyone. I gave seen a couple that seem right up.my alley. Though I am going to say magistry seems like the best fit for now, who knows in the months before we get in. But in the mean time, hope to see you all around.

And to answer, small =~ 10, medium up to 50. Not to say that would stop me from joining a larger group, but I prefer the tight knit, togetherness from smaller groups.

Just a random thought... who here has played shadowbane?

Also.. anyone used roll20.net? I will ask this else where as well, but I am about to introduce some friends to roleplaying, pathfinder, but I need a good module or some tricks for first time rpers

so far it's mostly given me stiff muscles and a lack of sleep, but I'm enjoying it. I've avoided all pvp for 4 hours of playing, mostly by taking an excessive amount of time trying to figure out how anything happens.

Lol, yeah, it is a tough game to get into, but I always love reading about the stuff that people do. Like someone joining a corp for a year only to betray them to his old corp. The mass suicide attack on a trade center, the cry to arms when one of the bigger corp titans is in trouble. It is a game that the playerss can effect and the devs let them.

It is one of the reasons why when someone asks me to explain pfo, I go eve online but fantasy. I know that isn't the best description for it, but the freedom and the mark the players can leave are close.

And jazz, I might hit up bluddwulf. I know how to play the game, just... it is not a game that you can.be in and be a top star right away. Still planning what skills I need/want for a raven, but a friend and zome guys that were watching his stream got together for a few hours and did level fours... I was so outclassed I just looted the whole time.

Got to keep you from getting red eye.

I just got back into eve after 5 years... some nice changes and stuff. Now I just need a corps to call home.

I can see the benefit of throwing a new player right into a lowsec/null pvp situation, but that can be a bit overwhelming. At least in my opinion.

Hope you enjoy it!

But seriously, I'm going off for a bit to do my homework. Don't let me keep posting here and putting my stuff off. This subforum is ruining my school life.

*Tempts the Lil Kobold back to the subforum with cheese and bacon*

What is Homework? I know not what you speak of.

EE guy, just finally deciding to get my head in here and check things out. Excited at how close PFO is moving along and cannot wait for it to get started :D

Still deciding on what I am going to play, but that will all come together as time gets closer :D

Hello members and allies of Magistry. How are you! Toombstone pointed you guys out and thought I would stop by and say hello. Seems like the group of people I wouldn't mind playing with :D

I believe you need Crowdforger package or Early Enrollment purchase to vote.

Who can vote in land rush

o find a guild to join, first you must create an account and log in to the new Goblinworks website. You must also either register previous purchases through Kickstarter or Paizo, or buy an Early Enrollment package through the Goblinworks store.
Using the link to the land rush "guilds" is a good to get a flavor. But also go through the GW blogs (such as the one referenced above) which should keep you busy for six hours. No need to Rush as things will change by OE. You will not need yo decide until you are ready to start.

Thanks for the all the replies so far.

I am indeed set up for early enrollment from my kickstarter pledge. I am looking over the guilds and land rush stuff right now (while In Eve), and making notes. I just wanted to see some stuff, hope for a response or two ;p Thanks for all the input.

As I told someone else, if I had to buckle down what I want, it would be a good align group, small to medium in size, and active. Beyond that, I am actually open to anything.

When I heard about the demo on kickstarter, I was excited to say the least. I knew then that all they wanted was something to show off, and that I wouldn't get anything other then helping GolbinWorks out. Then the 2nd kickstarter came, and I jumped on it. But I knew it would be some time before I would be able to jump into the game, I have just kept myself reading the blogs from time to time. I decided that groups would come and go during the wait, so I didn't want to get attached just yet. But with the switch over to goblinworks website for accounts, and with alpha starting soon and other things, I have decided to start looking for a guild/chartered company of liked minds to play with.

I still don't know what I want to play as when this game starts. I won't get in till Open Enrollment, but I will be there on day One, ready and waiting.

Should I be a valiant Paladin of Law and Order, a lonesome ranger that stands in the shadows... or an evil Necromancer? Oh the choices!

Just thought I would introduce myself (somewhat) and begin looking at some of the groups out there.

What I am Looking for: I prefer a small to medium group to be part of. Role play heavy, and at least active weekly. If this sounds like your group, I would love to hear more from you and your organization!

BTW, I do a small PC gaming podcast, and apparently one of the jokes aimed at me in it is, "Kommie, do you have any Pathfinder updates?" Well, hopefully in the coming months, I will have tons of stuff to share :D
