If nobody wishes to dance with you, perhaps you should check your breath first.

Athansor has been posting on the PFO Forums since December of 2012.

At least the last person to make an ill-advised post like this had Facts & Evidence, instead of pure speculation and insinuation.

While I can't condone sock puppets of any nature, I think this one is meant as a joke. :P

Our sinister plot revealed!
MUAHAHAHAHAHA

Oh, god, it's just like in TF2's story. Now it'll turn out Magistry and Pax are two shadow organizations that control all, both in turn run by a third, mightier force still. It will be up to a gang of eighteen eccentric mercenaries to find out the secret and possibly do nothing about it.

Spoilers.

Are you sure? They have such a well constructed argument and their spelling/grammar is top notch.

We're a secret division of the Mammoth Knights. Our sinister plot to secure a grazing settlement in the croplands for our herds has been found out.

Haha, I'm also a VO for PFS so I PROBABLY wouldn't want to tarnish my name with such things. (Nick Adams - Orlando, FL)

Our site does suck right now, but that'll be fixed soon enough. Prepping for the guild land rush came at a bad time so we're slow getting it put together!

Also the guild has been around for almost 20 years between Ultima Online, Everquest, World of Warcraft, Guild Wars 2, and many more games.

Oh, who am I kidding with these poor excuses. I think we've been had Toombs. Pack the truck!

Run to the other coast! The Bay Area Pathfinder Society will take you in!

Oh my god. I think you might be on to something. You guys might not know this but Athansor's full name is:

Athansor Xaidet Plertmef

Rearrange those letters, and you get:

A Third Settlement for Pax

Nice, I'm attending UCF in the fall and will be looking to play some PFS. :)

Goblin Squad Member

Excellent! We have some games right across the way from UCF right now, but those games may be relocated to the Cloak and Blaster gaming pub after it opens. Look forward to playing some tabletop with you.

I lol'ed.

Goblin Squad Member

/tell Athansor they're buying it. The puny minds of these simpletons have not yet figured out who we are a shadow organization for.
Our plans are falling into place.
I will inform the Master of our progress.

Goblin Squad Member

...

Ooops. Please disregard. That was merely a training exercise.

Carry on, friends and allies.

Goblin Squad Member

This is still my favorite threads on these forums to date.

The funny thing is we haven't been terribly active on the PFO forums, even though we try to keep up with reading them, and most of our membership still isn't. I imagine there are a number of organizations (even larger ones, if we can be considered that) that will pop up after early enrollment starts just from people that haven't followed the forums or blog posts very well, but are still interested in playing the game.

P.S. The Magistry Shadow Guild may have a meet and greet in East Orlando closer to release of Early Enrollment (or shortly after release). I'll probably make a separate thread for this eventually but we'd be curious to see how many allies (or good-natured in-game enemies) might also be in this area to join us.

Crush!

*looks around, seeing that the eye's vision is blurry from the eye drops and the bird is happily gorging itself on splattered woolly mammoth, then slowly backs away*

Uh, hey guys... I think that kobold attacked your voting box...

I'm actually shocked they didn't spell 'popped' as 'pooped'. I suspect the correct spelling is a typo

While out for a stroll Zodd sees a giant bird tearing at a mammoth's corpse with its razor sharp beak. Nearby A kobald is running wildly in circles arms flailing in panic. An elephant is sneaking away with what appears to be bits of a destroyed voting booth stuck to its hide.

What is happening here?

Zodd sits down and retrieves a bottle of ale from his backpack.

This is too entertaining to miss.

Goblin Squad Member

Daz stands next to Zodd, watching the scene unfold before them in abject confusion.

Zodd glances at Daz. The latter's eyebrows raise with the unspoken question.

Zodd shrugs.

Daz shrugs.

Both shake their heads.

Ah, but there lies the Trap of the Avatar: it's easy to change, but then all the jokes existing in threads so far stop making sense to those coming behind :-).

Evidently his twin is in T7V and when they're together they can see 20/20. Though her avatar looks like a crazy eyed woman so I don't quite get how that works.

Goblin Squad Member

You have no idea how bad it sucks not have depth perception when you're a giant eye. Try PUNCHING YOURSELF IN THE RETINA about 12 times a day and multiply the number of nerve endings by 6 million and you'll have some idea.

So I'm a little crazed sometimes, sue me!

*Hands Saiph a piece of paper. Its a summons. Being sued for ONE MILLION DOLLARS!*

Hey, you were the one that said sue you!
