A man in fine attire has been standing back for the time being. He could stand to spend some time in the sun as his pale skin looks ashen and sickly. His breathing is slow, almost deliberate as if he were on the brink of death. Yet still, his movements are graceful, refined without the rigor of death. "A stranger shore upon this I alight. Glowing with warmth most palpable. A paradise to the visitor and bounty to its inhabitants." "Allow me the honor of an introduction. I am Aleksandr Ostenoff once famed thespian of the opera houses of Caliphas. Now here I am far away from home both in distance and in culture, seeking the balance between life and death, the flux betwixt myself and my beloved." Aleksandr extends a hand, the outline of a rose appears on the back of his hand and fills itself in as if a tattoo were being magically inked before your very eyes. A ripple appears in the air as the aether roils though the breach. A slender hand, ghostly but with a similar tattoo reaches through the rift. Aleksander grasps the hand and pulls the spirit through. She stand nearly as tall as the beaming man who summoned her. her dress is just as fashionable and her features denote an obvious auivarian heritage. "This is Imelia, an maestra of the opera tragically cut down in her prime. Though the chill touch of death has tinged her voice with righteous anger, confuse her not for some banshee. For the life I have given flows through her as much as the curse which have taken upon myself through me." "Imelia, it is time to play our part once again..."

Since the creatures have been identified, I'm going to let you do that over Xun. Undead are immune to effects with the death trait, which Vision of Death has. Since undead PCs have a specific rule that immunity to death does not make them immune to other effects of an ability, I have to conclude that the general rule for monstrous undead is that it does make them completely immune.

Correct. I subscribed on November 1st. I sent an email but have got no response thus far. But why do they have to operate this way? Why only authorize once a month? Is this a manual process? It shouldn't be. If you can authorize payment on October 27th, why can't you authorize payment on November 1st? I don't recall seeing an option to ship as soon as possible when I subscribed. It certainly wasn't clearly presented if it was there. If fact this is what it says when I go to my subscriptions page. Quote:
I have no ability to select another shipment option. I don't want a monthly subscription. I want an as soon as it is available subscription.
Why would you ship something before you know the payment will go through? My issue specifically is that they sidecarted my Player Core to ship with my next AP shipment in 2 to 3 weeks and gave me no option to have them ship separately as soon as they are available. I have another idea. How about I can buy the PDF now and when the subscription order ships for it, they refund the PDF price? No, that's not an option either.
Paul Watson wrote:
There is no reason why this shouldn't be automated. Releasing the product should trigger the billing of subscriptions and dropping of the PDF after payment. This is not the sort of process that should require manual intervention in 2023. Paul Watson wrote: If that's not good enough, don't subscribe. Close the subscription at Customer services and pay for the PDF. Which means Paizo will lose out on sales, not just of this book, but of others. Because if I have to cancel my physical rulebook subscription, I will go back to PDFs only.

PurpleGoldYeezus, You didn't take your full turn. In PF2 you get 3 actions per round. Drawing a weapon requires the Interact action.
You used 2 actions and have 1 left. A common third action for bards is Inspire Courage. It's a cantrip, so you can do it every round and it gives all allies within 60 feet +1 to attack and damage for 1 round.
During the checks you would have discovered that you had to move closer to Aslynn in order to distract her. She wasn't responding to anyone that wasn't right in front of her as if her field of perception was very small. Rose's shot grazes the giant rat, drawing a small trickle of blood. No Surprise Attack. The encounter setup really only allowed for Perception-based initiative as you had to react to the appearance of the rats from out of nowhere. Looks like a rat the size of a horse. Probably can transmit disease. (Recall: Failure) One swarm moves toward Lokaloka. Perhaps they like pickles. They bite and scratch her while looking for some. ◆ Stride

Quote: We learned a lot, and we’ve decided the time isn’t right to produce a physical show. Why? We’ve learned the best way to make the PaizoCon experience accessible and affordable for the most people is to keep it virtual. And yes, COVID and its variants continue, which makes in-person commitments unpredictable for us all. Those two points make a case for making PaizoCon permanently virtual. Neither of those facts are going to change. Online will always be more affordable than in-person, and COVID is never going away completely.
I recommend using a log sheet like this one to keep track of your characters. When you get a chronicle, put the information in your log, this way you have something to refer back to if the chronicles become confusing.
