Aahh, the good old Logue-Pett-Vaughan jib-jabs. Feels like it's 2008 all over again!

I loved Hangman's noose too. IMO, all of Logue's stuff contain something, sick, awful and repulsive, yet strangely compelling... I call it Logueness. It is the ambrosia of the Gods... Some pretty special of them, anyway...

Only with more hair on my back!

Er.

You know the longer this thread goes on, the greater the chance a thread started by Sir Pett appears titled "Praise me or i'll kidnap Nick Logue"
which of course is just a ruse hatched by both in an attempt to cash in on the inevitable cable movie rights.

Sadly things will take a turn for the worst when they disagree on who will be portrayed by Martin Freeman.

A natural fit, providing she has some ghoul soldier support, huzzah!

Wow! just had a thought (yes, thats why the fire alarm is going off) two Lamia Matriarch Technomancers with Rail Guns or Arc Cannons! maybe with some Irradiated Dead for fun! Daaamn!

or is that too much:-)

I totally read that as Morgan Freeman.

I guess i just assumed he would narrate, also to maintain a certain level of realism towards the subject matter it probably should be an Episode of Drunk History

I see Pett as more of a Rutger Hauer type.

The Exchange

I see it more as a Fargo (original move). Not sure which one of them would end up in the wood chipper though.

Hahaha! That makes Logue Steve Buscemi! :-D

Yes, Rutger Hauer would make a fine Pett!

I would only sign off on my life rights if they guaranteed Brian Blessed would play me. :-)

Would you settle for Ray Winstone or Gary Oldman?

Ray Winstone - marvelous...

Heh. I may need to fire up Flash now, thanks Darius. :-)

Sorry, Kajehase: I'm afraid my contract precisely stipulates - its Blessed, or no one.

While I'm a great fan of both Winstone and Oldman's bodies...of work, I mean...its all about casting. Only Brian Blessed could capture my...well...Logueness, as Sissyl put a finger on it earlier.

Understandable (although I think Winstone has a Blessed inside him, just waiting to be unleashed) - personally I'm holding out for either Owen Wilson or Tilda Swinton.

But would Blessed want to play you again in a movie after he's played you so many times in real life???

This thread... madness lies :)

Wait, I'm in! Logue does some seriously great adventure writing, and he's a blast to hang out with at conventions.

Oh. And adding to the Logue Love shudder...

Mists of Mwangi is still one of the most fondly remembered Pathfinder Society scenarios for many. And it can make a fun game night regardless of whether you're involved in Organized Play.

Plus: The Kobold King!! Isn't he about due to come back again?

I won't say I wasn't a little guilty at leaving, but they kind of had it coming.

Saying they "kind of" had it coming is like saying a green dragon "kind of" needs a breath mint.

Ha! i was so busy cracking jokes i forgot to give Logue his proper due!

Nightmares, thats what i got the first time i read through The Hookmountain Massacre for like 3 days!

not to mention Edge of Anarchy and Lords of Rust, no nightmares but my god they are f&%&ing awesome! I especially can't wait to play The downward Spiral and its remix during Lords of Rust, to say nothing of the epic Android wielding a Chainsaw (my daughter, thats my lil girl:-p) vs Orc wielding a Chainsaw showdown i anticipate:-)

I adore Nick both as an author and a human being.

He is hands down one of the most gifted game designers I have ever met.

He can write an entire game on the spot, just make it up in full detail as you're playing it.
He can write an entire game world (soup to nuts) in about a week.

He made IRON GM just because he figured thats how he could get the most people to have the most fun in one room at one time.

He consistently raises the bar for both writing and creativity. His ideas are always innovated and his characters never short of epic.

Most importantly, a five minute conversation with Nick Logue makes you a better person.

I MIGHT BE OPEN TO NEGOTIATION.

Tim, you are too kind, as ever, my man. I love you, deeply. You have a once in a generation mind and wild-side. I love the way you tango in the design world, sexy. You remain my favorite co-writer. Carnival of Tears forever! :-)

Great seeing you at PaizoCon again Nic! GMing On The Fly was a great panel. (I was with my wife who dyed her hair purple/blue/pink.)

Dark Archive

After the Horror in RPGs panel, I can with out a doubt testify to the creative genius of Nic Logue. When you can get Wes to shake his head in amazement/horror and let loose the profanity when describing what you did to a single player, that must be recognized.

I will never look at a cooler of beverages in the basement the same way ever again. Bravo.
