Anyone interested in playing eyes of the 10, if there appears to be enough interest I’ll put a recruitment up.

As much as I'd consider burning 4 replays for it, all of my level 12 PCs have more than 33 XP.

Liberty's Edge

I already played with my monk and I assigned my GM chronicle to my cleric. My slayer is still in a game, which leaves my level 12 kensai magus.

Liberty's Edge

It would be a replay for me as I've both played and run it before, but if you need another body I could help.

Though you might be better off sticking with 4 rather than going with 5 and losing the 4-player adjustment. But if you have a 5th, then I could possibly be a 6th.

Do you want to wait for the GM a while longer or do you want a replacement GM. I could probably pick this up for you if you are keen to get moving and have a new GM step in.

Liberty's Edge

Ranger 6/Swashbuckler 3/Vigilante 1 - Decent face, doesn't do a lot of damage but can use targeted buffs/debuffs in combat.

Barbarian 6/Druid 4 - Fairly durable melee bruiser. Doesn't do insane amounts of damage, but is respectable with a round to buff. Decent AC for a barbarian type.

Unchained Monk 1/Sorcerer 4/Dragon Disciple 5 - Moderate melee damage, decent spell damage. Not outrageously min-maxed like most crossblooded (dragon/orc) builds as I kept him more thematic.

Liberty's Edge

I could play as well. My options:

Level 10
Ranger 6/Swashbuckler 3/Vigilante 1
Barbarian 6/Druid 4
Unchained Monk 1/Sorcerer 4/Dragon Disciple 5

Level 9
Fighter 1/Inquisitor 8
Hunter 5/Fighter 4

I am currently in a group working our way through the Emerald Spire superdungeon. We started the fourth level and our GM has disappeared ( gone for ~ 2.5 weeks with no word). I don't necessarily know if the group is ready to ask for a backup GM yet, but I was hoping someone could tell me if we are far enough into the level to get a backup GM if that is the way we want to go, or just scrap the whole thing and move on. Can someone who has played or run the mod take a look at the spoiler below and tell us if it is worth getting a new GM to come finish the level out for us?

Sent you a PM.

I currently have PCs of levels 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 9, 10, 12, and 15.

Currently available PCs are level 2, 3, 9, and 10.

Liberty's Edge

Venture-Agent, Online (Myth Weavers)

I have several options for PCs. Might wait to see what others a bringing.

Ifrit Gunslinger 1/Investigator 2
Merits: Decent skill monkey. Not overly invested in any specific skill but has training in a broad variety.
Concern: Sounds like we will be in/near water. Gunslingers are fairly useless in watery environments.

Ratfolk Unchained Rogue 2
Merits: Another skill monkey. Has decent social skills and some ability with traps.
Concern: Underground chemist rogue. Thrown splash weapons also limited underwater.

Samsaran Shaman 2
Merits: Enchantment specialist. Can throw a few save or lose spells.
Concern: Poor combat abilities. Default spell selection is heavy on enchantments. If there is no time to prepare spells can be rendered nearly useless against undead/constructs/vermin or anything else immune to mind-affecting spells.

Ganzi Gunslinger 1/Wizard 1
Merits: Knowledge skills, some spellcasting.
Concern: Gunslinger in a wet sounding adventure.

Tiefling Medium 1/Oracle 1
Merits: Face. Decent combat abilities.
Concern: Heavy armor, not much in the way of other skills.

Liberty's Edge

I really had no preference. I just need to check his latest chronicle to see if there are any purchases to be made. I haven't played him since February.

Edit: Ready

Liberty's Edge

Any thoughts on which PC I should bring?

My ninja would probably mesh really well with the mesmerist, but the risk we run of me bringing him is that if a 5th player does show up we would have to switch to high subtier.

Liberty's Edge

So far it looks like we have 4 players ready.

If we don't get any more, our levels are 4, 4, 6, and 3 or 7.

Either we are APL 4.25 or 5.25.

With 4 players we'd play low subtier either way but with my level 7 we'd play without the 4 player adjustment.

I'm thinking of a vishkanya oracle of Sarenrae. Not entirely sure what mystery yet.

I could create a character to fill a missing role. I have a few unused race boons, so it will likely use one of them.

Yes, we've been moving away from calling it a PFS number now that Starfinder Society is part of the Organized Play Foundation.

Liberty's Edge

There are probably a lot of PCs tied up in the gameday. I have a ton of PCs so it's less of an issue for me, but some people may have all their in tier PCs committed at this point.

Liberty's Edge

I have two choices for low tier:

Character name: Quarrion d'Schist
Class/es & level/s: Warpriest (Shieldbearer) 3
What does your character do: Oread Warpriest of Soralyon. Melee fighting primarily (two-weapon fighting with pick and shield bash). Can do a little bit of healing or buffing if needed.
Anything I should be aware of: Has the Fate's Favored trait.

Character name: Rami Azar (from Alkenstar)
Class/es & level/s: Gunslinger (Maverick) 1/Investigator (Sleuth) 2
What does your character do: Wild west lawman type. Ifrit. Skillmonkey. Fairly high initiative bonus.
Anything I should be aware of: Has an inspiration pool as well as a grit/luck/panache pool (has the Amateur Swashbuckler feat).

I have a PC that is in a game which I think will be ending in the next few days. He'd be my only high tier option if he becomes available.

Character name: 小青蛙 - Xiǎo Qīngwā - Little Frog
Class/es & level/s: Brawler (snakebite striker) 1/Ninja 6
What does your character do: Grippli. Tries to act timidly and then attacks things from the shadows.
Anything I should be aware of: Does additional damage with nonlethal sneak attacks.

Anyone looking for more high level adventures? There is a recruitment thread for the Ruby Phoenix tournament module (tier 10-12) for the upcoming gameday. Right now there are only 3 players signed up, so we need at least 1 more for a legal table.

Liberty's Edge

Venture-Agent, Online (Myth Weavers)

I worked on a character sheet. It's not very detailed and it does some calculations (it does not adjust for conditions).

Liberty's Edge

One thing I am confused by.

A wild order druid has two focus spells, wild shape and wild morph. How many points are in their focus pools, 1 or 2?

Liberty's Edge

Darth Game Master wrote:
A Google Sheets version would be great if you have the time. No pressure though.

I made a Google sheet version. It doesn't auto-calculate conditions but it does most things.

The Scrolls, Spell, and Swords fields are for Pathfinder Society. You should be able to remove/replace them if not using the sheet for PFS.

I still want to add sheets for familiars and animal companions.

If you are willing to try another forum, there is a table of What the Helms Hide that needs more players over on Myth Weavers.

Either sounds fine to me. (Note that level 2 is also ok if you happen to have one). We probably won't start for a few days (we're not done with the current scenario yet, though I think it's mainly rp), or even longer if we are somehow able to jump into gameday, so take your time if you wish to build something new. Though I think a batman-type is a good contribution to this module! :-)

I don't think I can play a level 2 as I've already played this module twice with a level 2 PC, the second time burning a GM star. I'm pretty sure you can't burn a second star on the same adventure to play a 3rd time, so I'm locked in to playing it as an evergreen with level 1 PC.

I have to buy equipment for my werebat-kin and then create his profile. I'll try to have that done tonight. I'll be gone most of the day tomorrow for my monthly meatspace game.

Liberty's Edge

Venture-Agent, Online (Myth Weavers)

Right now the only level 1 PC have currently created and not active is a werebat-kin vigilante (kind of an homage to Batman). And yes, I did create a sidekick for him (a tengu monk that I'm probably going to give to my wife to play when we have a chance to play together).

Otherwise I have at least one unused race boon that I could use to create a tiefling or a gillman.

Liberty's Edge

Venture-Agent, Online (Myth Weavers)

Hello, noral/Jangafzaar reached out to me about Murder's Mark.

I am open to playing it though it would be a replay for me with a level 1 character.

Since this is a module, I probably should not sign up with any of my PCs that will be involved in the pbp gameday.

What does the current party look like? I can see if I have something suitable or I can create something.

Liberty's Edge Venture-Agent, Online

255 player credits
67 GM credits
25 replays

Though for some reason my GM stars have disappeared from my profile.

Liberty's Edge

My session information lists that I have 67 tables of credit, but there are no GM stars shown on my profile. If I download my card it also shows no stars.

Liberty's Edge Venture-Agent, Online

Yes, but what about after that? We don't know anything about the next guide. Will it apply only to 2nd edition or also to 1st? Will it change any of these rules?

If it does then it might be best to avoid the surprise of suddenly finding those stars are unusable.

The Replay widget doesn't include replays from any other source (GM stars, boons, replayable, etc). It is based on the total games played/GMed when we took the snapshot. Future games won't count either, as we took a picture and are done.

So will those other methods (GM stars, boons, etc.) still be available? Will we still have an opportunity to recharge GM stars like we have been the past few seasons?

Tonya Woldridge wrote:
This voucher should be kept with the replay chronicle to indicate it is valid.

I guess I don't get how this helps. I've never had a PC audited (nor have I ever audited a PC) and even if they did how would I know that a chronicle was an illegal replay without checking both the play history of a player (something I don't have access to without the player having the ability to show me) or all the chronicles from all the PCs that player has?

We are actually free floating and were thinking about recruiting on the boards as we have space for some games and then it would be valid for OSP as it is possible to reserve some of the spaces.

Do you have a link to that? I was told that if you reserve even one space the game is not eligible for OSP.

Liberty's Edge

I may take a different PC through Sevenfingers. He has credit for two of the parts of the series (I had to play part 3 with a different PC though).

Liberty's Edge

Taking the discussion from the other game thread here.

It appears there is a desire from several people to run Death on the Ice next, but reviewing the sheet it seems that only 3 people marked this as Play/Either. I think this means the rest of the group already played it. Several possibilities.

1. Recruit extra players to fill spots even if just for this one adventure (unless they'd like to be part of the rotation).

2. Have at least one of the people who already played it use a replay if they have one (I can do it if needed).

3. Play with 3 players and a pregen.

4. Put this one aside and run something else.

I know it's a bit late, but the text of the scenario says:

Quote:
What The Helms Hide can be replayed for credit, but the credit must be applied to a different character each time

It says nothing about replaying with only level 1 PCs.

Liberty's Edge

Hey there!

Qstor told me about this game and sent me the link.

If people want PFS mode, the only PC I currently have available in range is a wayang oracle (dark tapestry) 2/unchained rogue 3. Ultimately either is fine with me but PFS mode lets us get up and running more quickly.

Liberty's Edge

Venture-Agent, Online (Myth Weavers)

So we have levels 4, 4, 3, 2 locked in with OG3 I assume bringing a level 1 skald. (Correct me if I'm wrong and you are starting at higher level due to GM credits or other.)

That would give us 14 total levels. If I were to also play a level 1, that would be 15 which is an APL of 2.5. Since we are exactly .5, we get to choose to round down or up, which means it is still possible we can play 1-2.

If it was only one PC playing up I'd be OK, but I'm a bit hesitant to play up with two or more low level PCs even with the 4-player adjustment.

Liberty's Edge

I think you just happen to pick some of the more deadly scenarios. I think I've played in one or two of your games before and I think they were all Season 4 and let's just say Season 4 has a bit of a reputation.

This is one of the season 4 scenarios I haven't played, so I could join in. I do have quite a few options at this level so I can fill in a gap as needed.

Skald 4
Oracle/Unchained Rogue 4

Bard 3
Bloodrager 3
Warpriest 3

Unchained Rogue 2
Druid 2
Shaman 2
Gunslinger/Wizard 2

Brawler 1
Shifter 1
Paladin 1
