The miasma in the air is noxious, with concentrated pockets of poison; Quinn figures he can use them to help counter any potential threats. His first target: a enormous mastadon. Setting aside thoughts of how it fit into the space, he and Seelah harry it until it leaves an opening for Quinn to bring it down.

Calling on the spirit of Zellara to guide them, Quinn's harrowing draws the attention of a ... shark? He moves quickly, directly Seelah to help flank it, and shoves the beast into a cloud of poison. Holding it there with his knife, it falls, paralyzed almost immediately.

Exhaused, his diviniation reveals a token of Zon-Kuthon, and a potential weakness in the Cindermaw. He steps back to let Seelah guide them in the assualt.
