Fortunately, the boosters of Relics of War and Heroes Hoard will be available for some time to meet those needs. We are still finding our way with these products, and the complete decks are just one more option for us to try. As for the potion/scroll/wand pack. It is something we are considering.

I think the fundamental problem everyone is having in collecting this great product is the imbalance between our needs of the various cards. Other collectible games help alleviate similar problems with rarity (DDM Beholder is Rare a Goblin Skirmisher is Common so you'll have plenty, for example). I like the fact that this is not a collectible game and has no rarity, but that only means the above problem becomes more challenging. I propose the following:

Have every other (or every third?) set be a complete set with weapons, armor, staffs, wonderous items, etc. While the remainder of the sets are expendable boosters (potions, wands, scrolls, alchemical items, poison).

Because, frankly, the model you're trying with the new set doesn't work for me *at all* as each potion card is a specific potion that remains constant throughout my game, so any potion in DT is useless to me unless I buy 3-5 $20 sets, which I won't.

Hey there Everyone,

As some of you may have already noticed, we have made a change to the next Item Card set, "Dragon's Trove". We have changed the product from booster packs to a single 110 card deck of cards. Now you will recieve the entire set in one box for only $19.99.

The new product description can be found on the product's page.

So now if I decide that a given potion is a "Mage Armor", I'll have to pay $20 for each 50gp expendable my player's buy?! Buying 5 sets ($100!!!!) may work out well for the potions & scrolls, but I don't need 5 Severed Hands, Unicorn Horns or even shiny gold short sword. This is very disconcerting to me. Please make expendable item packs then for potions & scrolls or something!

It's non-random exactly the way Item Pack 1 is non-random. That's not to say that the expansions (should they be forthcoming) will not be in random packs; which, BTW, I don't mind at all. Also, without knowing precisiely what's in it or what's planned, I'd like to say what I'd really like is plenty of vials, powders, etc. for use will alchemical substances including poisons & drugs (evil party); since I'm not too draconian on keeping track of bedrolls and caltrops, but would really like to have those alchemists fires, thunderstones, etc, etc on a short leash (not that I think my PCs are cheating, but they are almost as evil as their characters ;) ).

P.S. did I mention that I still *really* need psionic magic items for the other sets? Djorjes & psionic-looking weapons in particular (thought I'd badger you a little more).

What're you writing a novel back there? I find plenty of room back there for me.

I think these would have potential, but not without some additional support. For instance, i just gave one of my PCs (Sunday, actually) a +1 Scorpion Blade Gauntlet; clearly not an item for which you have made a card ;) I had to scan a B&W pic of one onto a label and cut it out and stick it and a description on the back and I have to admit... it looks awful! If you could get a web-based program made that allows for the selection of a border and the insertion of a pic and the addition of text, so that we could make good-looking cards by printing onto an Avery-style label, then I'd buy 100 in a heartbeat. But if I still had to stick my crappy-looking pics onto blank cards, I'd probablly just keep using my extras for that reason.
The web program might seem a bit daunting at first, but there are all kinds of examples of similar programs such as the Star Wars Minis card generator a friend of mine made, as well as a neat DIYS inspirational poster generator I've been using for game ads. Without being too tech savvy, I don't think it would be too much hassle to have it set up.

I apologize if there is already a thread for this sort of thing, or if someone has already made a similar suggestion.
I've taken a close look at the map packs (and used them in an adventure), and although they are of good quality and perfect for some folks, I have found them a bit wanting. My issue is that the smaller-card format is awkward to actually play on the modular format makes the addition of specific, finer detail troublesome at best. I have also used the Rackham map cards which are absolutely beautiful, but are very congested due to it's adherence to a more "realistic" scale without too much mind the maneuverability of pieces in a combat situation (which may be fine for the game it was intended for). Finally I have used the D&D Minis maps extensively and love them for their size, mindfulness of combat and their functional beauty, but sadly they are made for DDM balanced play in mind and are not always suitable to many RPG-style encounters.
So after turning it around in my head a bit, I've decided that the perfect map product (for me at least) would possess the following characteristics:
1) Larger maps so that they don't move about when being used, also allowing for more artistic detail. Perhaps between the Rackham & DDM maps in size.
2) Connectability mindfulness, similar the Rackham tiles, but perhaps not as limiting as some of your map packs.
3) Depicting such RPG staples as: roadside inns, small crypts, cabins, sewers, etc.

This sort of product could be sold in an interemdiate fashion to your current Map Packs and the WotC Fanastic Locations in that you could have 4 or so double-sided maps, with each side being able to be connected in 2 separate settings (1 side graveyard, the other sewers, for instance).

I'm sorry to say that I have very little interest in mundane item cards simply due to the fact that it would take years of regular releases to get close to a "workable" array of items; sure they'd have Thieves' Tools and "Backpacks," but how long will it take to get blanket, etc... besides, the $$ investment to get enough of them all would be *much* greater than it is for magic items and for (what I feel) is a much less interesting aspect of the game, hence, not worth the investment for me. I would also hate it if this product came out and it adversely affected the release of the magic item packs (which already seem to be having some availability issues... November?!).

P.S. reiterating my personal necessity of psionic-style items.

ACD does not have them in stock, IIRC.

I second the musical items. Also plenty of Crystals and Djorjes, crystal-laden armor, etc so we have something a little more "in-character" for Psionic Items, sorry, I mean "non-game-specific-items-charged-with-mental-power" ;) I dare say that for some they are a necessity.
