![]() Hey all, wondering if monstrous physique II gives Popobala damage on their 2d6 bite, and 1d8 to claws. this seems ridiculously OP if so... If i'm wrong please let me know. but i wasnt sure on the rules allowed the pc to gain the ACTUAL damage for the popobola's claws and bite since its a cr15 humanoid monster ![]()
![]() Hi all,
http://paizo.com/threads/rzs2rl7e?Mirror-of-life-trapping-broken-released Our barbarian broke a mirror of life trapping, which released an ancient red dragon. After much help from the community, I decided the red dragon wanted to wreak havok upon the lands, as well as, toy with the pc's and eventually demand the pc's find the wizard who trapped him in the first place for vengeance. Well after we finished our last play session, I explained to the players that the Red dragon razed the nearby capital city of Restov. Our barbarian visited Restov, came back to our player-made city, and resigned from his government position, and demanded to be arrested for "his" crimes against the now-razed Restov. he gave away half of his gold to build an orphanage, and the rest he gave to his brother dwarf, along with his brewery. He's also wanting justice for his crime. What do you all think would be justice ? I mean seriously, if he even suggested to our town of 40,000 (including 3000 refuges that fled to our city after the destruction of Restov) wouldn't they demand his immediate execution ? I'd hate to do that, but if the whole city demands it, we'd really have no choice. ![]()
![]() Hi all, In our campaign tonight, the adventurers entered a cave, found a hidden mirror of life trapping, and trapped our oracle healer. Our wizard was able to identify the command word (saved himself from the mirror's life trapping effect), and thereby released our trapped oracle. Here is the kicker/problem: Our dwarven Barbarian distrusts evil magic items so much, instead of us burying the evil mirror, and leaving it behind, decides to kick the mirror off the mountain, thereby destroying the mirror, and releasing a CR 19 Ancient Red dragon, and a CR 17 Ancient green dragon. I, as the GM, was totally flabbergasted, and unsure of what to do next. I decided that I would roll randomly on a d4 to decide the course of action. 1.) The dragons both fly up and discover the pc's thereby destroying our level 8 party 2.) The dragons both fight it out, since the green is LE, and the red is CE 3.) The dragons fly northward, and find the pc's town, and lay waste upon the town 4.) The dragons Fly to the northern edge of the map, where the higher level encounters reside anyway (CR15-20) So I rolled a 2, the dragons fought it out, and the red dragon won by completely kicking the green dragon's ass. My problem is, what should the Ancient Red Dragon do now ? I mean, he's probably hungry as hell, mad as hell (was trapped for 3 centuries in that damned mirror) and wanting blood. I don't want to wast the pc's, but at the same time, I don't feel like the dragon is just going to go away either. What do you all think ? suggestions would be appreciated, as I am at a loss as what to do next with him. ![]()
![]() Hi all.
1.) Does he actually get 4 attacks at level 6 with the feats: Sharpclaw (pg 154 adv race), multi-attack (pg 315 beastiary 1), and the ratfolk weapon Tailblade (pg 154 adv race) with the added magic item: Ring of Rat Fangs (pg 155 adv race)? 2.) ring of rat fangs says "The wearer gains a bite attack as a PRIMARY attack), and the feat:sharpclaw says These are PRIMARY attacks. So add weapon finesse to hit with his +4 base, and add the insight from the cryptic class:(pg 38 psi expanded)
This to me seems an abuse of the system, and i want to make sure that this is a legit build. Can anyone PLEASE help me ? Sincerely : frustrated GM ![]()
![]() So yesterday i started a low level campaign with my friends. Our party consisted of: 1.)Dwarven Barbarian- 2-handed long hammer. 2.)Aasimar Oracle (cure spells, mystery:Heavens, Revelation:Awesome display + color spray, +the +1/2 for the Aasimar oracle revelations) 3.)Vanaras Monk (nunchucks) So yesterday we were playing, and of COURSE the barbarian was doing the most damage, killing mobs with 1 hit. (to be expected at low levels), and our monk gets extremely upset that he's not doing as much damage. After a few hours of playing, the pc's had made enough gold to hit up the trading post, and the monk wants to buy a "Seven-Branched Sword" so then the arguments started (oh god, what a whiny baby)
I've done some research on forums and such, and im finding that he can indeed use the sword with flurry, but since it is 2-handed, he has to use kicks for his other attacks. Does the monk automatically gain profiency with this weapon ?
Please help. Yes, hes a whiny monk, but he's my friend also, and i dont want to piss him off TOO much. |
