"No problem. Johnny can find it. Just get onto Marine drive Johnny and go west then left at Pemberton." <Talking with a slightly Spanish accent, Mary Ann climbs out of her seat to look over Johnny's shoulder. Now and then she says a few words to Johnny in a language nobody recognizes.> "I walked by before. You'd never kmow they have guns inside."
<Mary Ann interrupts Johnny as Sam reads the addresses.> There is a gun distributor in North Vancouver who were in the newspapers a few months ago because they had some of their guns confiscated by Canadian customs and they took it to court. It's on Pemberton Ave. south of 3rd street. It's a distributor. They sell to gun shops and the police. But they'll have guards. We're about 7 blocks away though.
Juan 'Johnnie' Rico wrote: "Mary Ann, the people here have guns? I fear that there are looters. There's a man outside hurt but I am not sure if his assailant is not there. Or may be he is the assailant and his victim is in dire need of help." Johnnie whispers to Mary Ann. "I don't know any of my neighbors. I doubt anyone here has guns, they're illegal here aren't they?" <She looks through the peephole..> "He's gone. I don't know. Maybe you should look."
<Jumps through the door and hugs you.> "Someone was just screaming here in the building. I was just calling you." <She pulls you in the door.> Spoiler: I don't think you mentioned it.... if it's okay I'll write her up as a palliative care home nurse. She works for a rich old couple in West Vancouver, one of whom has cancer. |
