Hi, just wanting give my fews cents on feedback so the core rule book may be enhanced.
Pages 301-303 "Perception" section
The way the text explains the differents status of perceived things and senses make the big picture difficult to grasp/understand.
The way it is presented appears messy and incomplete.
Suggestion for increasing the explanations :
- move the senses explainations/descriptions to the end of the section
- remove concept of precise/unprecises sens as it doesn't help to understand but rather makes the rules more obscures
- Add tables :
3 Tables of states : seen, concealed, sensed
with columns : normal vision, darkvision, lowlightvision, blindsight, blindsens, echolocation, scent, tremorscent
rows : min-level of states to get either seen/concealed/sensed by the specific sens/column
- rephrase the existing text about senses by adding examples for each table/row of the corresponding column
Hope this helps
