Hey all,

I have a character which is a Gestalt Samurai/Warlord and my game master has allowed me to use the upgradable ability from my legendary item (sword) to enchant it differently than what then the upgradable ability does normally.

The problem I have is, I'm not a spellcaster and I want to do it through roleplay (like for example: if I wanted my sword with Bless Weapon, I would use blessed water on the weapon through out the ritual).

Would you guys have any suggestion how I would add these spell effects to my sword

*Summon Weapon
*Storm of Blades
*Mage's Magnificient Mansion

Side note: For those that watch anime, I'm trying to recreate the Gate of Babylon ability from the character Gilgamesh in the Fate Stay Night anime if it can help you more visualize what I'm trying to do.

Thank you for all your suggestions in advance.

Hi all, wanted to advice/ideas/suggestions as to how to build a Gilgamesh type of character (the final fantasy type, not fate zero).

What I am allowed (dm is making one hell of a power trip for players)

Advanced Race Guide Race Building
Gestalt
Level 6

So far I was thinking something along the lines of extra limbs, outsider type with a combo of Fighter (Two Handed Fighter Archetype) / Samurai (Katana Duelist Archetype) since Gilgamesh is basically a warrior that issues challenges. But I'm not sure about the Katana Duelist (was nice for the parry/Riposte Build) and need some advice for the rest.

Any help is appreciated.

Hey all,

So, last game, I gave my Devilbounded players a challenge from their master to prove themselves.

The challenge: Do the most vile deed you can think of
Time limit: 1 month

Now, I have a good idea of what I will consider just evil, not enough vile but I have experienced players that could surprise me so, I wanted to talk about difference between what is vile and what is just evil

For example (in my way of thinking of course)

Murder: Evil (common enough)
Rapping: Definitely evil (but still not vile)
Kidnapping: Evil (but very far from being vile)
Genocide: Now were getting there but don't know if I should consider this vile or just plain sick
Bind the soul of a good paladdin or priest to an evil item (or atifact): Definitively vile

Etc etc etc

One of the players was discussing out game and was saying like: I'm going to go in a city, kill all the males (man and boy), rape the females (woman and girls) and then kill them.

I was thinking: Ok, thats evil for sure, sick definitively but vile, hmm not sure, don't think so....

Discuss?

Hey all,

As the title says, I'd like to modify the Instant Fortress wondrous item.

I love the item but it's size does not fit what I have plan for my character in a friends game (18th level sorcerer incase some are wondering, so epic spells are not that far away also).

I'm ready to loose the Adamantine walls and go with lesser materials.

I was thinking along the way of using Wall of Stone and/or Wall of Iron to build it's structure.

Use Mage's Magnificient Mansion for the Instant growing/reducing effect (or another spell if one of you has a suggestion).

And why not add some cool utility spells like Alarm, Sanctuary, Consecrate and the other similar utility spells that would affect my Stronghold when it is activated.

So, how would you guys/girls would price it's creation (the structure, the growing/reducing effect and the utility spells).

I don't plan on buying it outright fully builded, I would build it over time (same as adding new abilities to existant magical items).

Hey all,

Me and some friends are arguing about a rule in the Pathfinder Core RuleBook. It's about Critical Hits.

Two of them says only the Weapon Dices are mutiplied on a Critical Hit while I say that Strength and other bonuses are mutiplied also.

So, I'm going to make a short sweet list below and you tell me if it is mutiplied or not

Weapon dice
Strength
Weapon Enhancement
Weapon Specialization (the feat)
Serrated Weapons (+1 bonus to damage)
Vital Strike (the feat and also it's improved parts)
Flaming/Frost/Shock (magical weapon ability)
Bane (magical weapon ability)
Holy/Unholy/Axomiatic/Anarchic (magical weapon ability)
Merciful/Vicious (magical weapon ability)
Sneak Attacks

Will be waiting for your answers.
