@Volco The Nurse responds: Yes, this patient suffers from auditory hallucinations. Clams he hears his twin sister calling for him. But she died years go. His name is Loic. What's that you have, Valeriana root? Wonderful! If Only I could get him calmed down enough to take it...

Loic thrashes and howls: No...no!!!! Leave me be!!!!

Mackenzie pulls on the glass door of the case holding the machine, but a brass padlock holds it firmly shut.
Help me! We've got to get this thing open...

I'm slightly frustrated because this module is very beautiful and interesting, but I'm having trouble building the full atmosphere of mystery and menace. A bit too much action. The module is pleasantly more subtle:( Oh well, mabe it's the nature of PBP and probably partly cause it's my first time as a Cthulhu Keeper. Pah! I make no apologies!

Mackenzie stands before this machine, mesmerized like a bug by a bug-zapper. She stares at the case's lock.

This is it. One-hundred years of toil and death. And now you are all here. This is our one chance. Please, everyone, please come closer.

Mackenzie glances nervously around the room at all the other machines in cases.

Before all of these other machines begin to dream too...

“This is James Watt, the Scottish inventor who invented the steam engine with the condensing chamber, a great advance in the harnessing of steam power. Watt coined the term “horsepower” and is considered to be the father of steam after inventing the first practical solution to the problems of steam, making it a viable power source.”
