Lukaas gets quickly out of the grasps of the tentacles, thanking Jivan for his help Silly me, I thought the death of the necromancer would stop the spell... I really have to update my knowledge of spells, and probably get more cautious won't hurt either.. Would inspire Courage add +2 to CMD to get out of the tentacles, or should I change to Inspire competence: +1 to rolls Escape artist?
Male Human Bard (5) HP 38/38;AC 16 FF14 Tch 12;Fort +2, Ref +6, Will +4; Init+2;Per+7 , SM +5 Perform 12/12
Lukaas sings, and his words bring power to your arms (and legs, for those who like to kick things). The bard willingly enters the room, exposing himself to the tentacles' embrace so everyone can hear him Escape artist: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10

Inspire courage fro +2 to hit/dmg Lukaas studies the undead, and gives you precious informations about how to fight them with maximal efficiency, and the bard sings to strenghten your arms

Maybe miss Quil could host a big final farewell to your memory, and the entrance fee would go to your family's benefit? I promise I would play and sing for you, free of charge of course except a few ales.
Male Human Bard (5) HP 38/38;AC 16 FF14 Tch 12;Fort +2, Ref +6, Will +4; Init+2;Per+7 , SM +5 Perform 12/12
of course, Lukaas spent the last night joining into the revely and festivities, regaling the crowd with bawdy or beautiful songs, playing on his luth, sharing more than a few drinks, carousing, flirting and having generally a blast. He promises to come back in a few days, after his current mission, with an even better show Taking 10 for Perform 22 Of course, the morning after, the bard is way less festive, and the sky seems to weigh heavily on his cranium.
I'm glad we were able to help you, Milady Hummush. Maybe one of my companions would be able to shield your mind with a spell, so you don't succumb to that necromancer's power. I have a few tricks left too, of course.
Male Human Bard (5) HP 38/38;AC 16 FF14 Tch 12;Fort +2, Ref +6, Will +4; Init+2;Per+7 , SM +5 Perform 12/12
Lukaas isn't eager to fight face to face with some undead, but he helps by singing. Besides, the heavy hitters of his group seems to have the situation under control Maintain Inspire Courage round 2/16

Lukaas silently offers a silk and clean handerchief to the gnome lady in distress I truly apologise if my words offended you.I've heard stories about gnomes, meet a few ones, but they do have a particular mindset, and the Bleaching is quite a frightening curse. So let me ask this in simlple terms, as a theory: do you believe that someone could have gone mad with the threat of Bleaching, and turned to a murderer, to get his thrills, as horrible as it sounds? Could it be possible?
Male Human Bard (5) HP 38/38;AC 16 FF14 Tch 12;Fort +2, Ref +6, Will +4; Init+2;Per+7 , SM +5 Perform 12/12
If it seems dark inside, Lukaas cast a minor spell to get some light, then another, to check for magical auras Let's check the place. I don't think Quil would led a troupe of Pathfinders through a list of hints of clues that would incriminate her and her church. That would be most inconvenient to her, when she could have said nothing to our Venture Captains and reap the monetary rewards. There is probably a link to her church, but I seriously doubt she is either culprit or accomplice. "Scapegoat" is the word springing to my mind. So probably the necromancer wants to get his revenge while using what she holds dear the most. A sore loser, if I may say so. Do you remember such a person, someone who could maybe have lost more money that they could tolerate, Quil? Cast Dancing Lights, then Detect Magic, or just Detect Magic if there's enough light inside
Male Human Bard (5) HP 38/38;AC 16 FF14 Tch 12;Fort +2, Ref +6, Will +4; Init+2;Per+7 , SM +5 Perform 12/12
Respectfully, Lukaas answers the children I guess he had to skip town for a while, to bring smiles on other children faces, carrying with him the sweet memories of your laughters, games and jokes.. It's a small lie, or at least a partial truth, but it's not the time or my place to speak the whole truth.

focused Diplomacy, charming: 1d20 + 12 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 12 + 4 + 1 = 30 Lukaas seeks new informations about the crime, lending an ear to whoever wants to talk. Especially women, of course, who seem happy to tell that their husband isn't at home currently, and not expected yet for a few hours...

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (5) + 12 = 17 Lukaas tries to defuse the situation, but his words seem to fall on deaf ears, and drunken brains, which are worse I was hoping for a peaceful resolution, but that isn't to be, I guess.
Male Human Bard (5) HP 38/38;AC 16 FF14 Tch 12;Fort +2, Ref +6, Will +4; Init+2;Per+7 , SM +5 Perform 12/12
At least we are sure the murderer didn't care for material wealth. A ghost has no use for gold. You know the town better than us, dear Quil: do the position of the houses of the murdered form a pattern? Do they have something in common, like the same builders or the same family who might have lived in each house years ago?? That's just a theory, I'm just throwing ideas around...
Male Human Bard (5) HP 38/38;AC 16 FF14 Tch 12;Fort +2, Ref +6, Will +4; Init+2;Per+7 , SM +5 Perform 12/12
Were the other gnomes killed gamblers too? Did they, to the best of your knowledge, try their luck at the lottery? The killer doesn't seem interested in the tickets themselves, but perhaps he choosed his targets at the lottery?

Gather info: 1d20 + 12 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 12 + 4 = 35 With a knowing smile at Dana, Lukaas unleashes his own charm in a friendly competition, doing his best to upstage the woman. Of course, the most important thing is to succeed at the mission. But being a bard is all about showboating, getting the attention he feels he deserves, and getting the girls at the end while dropping the mic after a diss so severe it could only be called a "fatality" by an awestruck, adoring crowd of fans who dream to have an ounce of his talent, an inch of his creativity, who dress like him, walk talk and act like him and just might be the next big thing but not quite him.

diplomacy: 1d20 + 12 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 12 + 1 = 25 The bard uses his charm and witty talk among the passer-by and the neighborough, mostly targeting women, who seem appreciative of his silken tongue. Rare is the man, in these cold lands, who dares finding himslef publicly enthralled by Lukaas way and words.
Of course, more innocently, your musician tries to get bits of information from children roaming the streets

Lukaas smiles at Jivan I've heard of Mrs Cosmopolite and her Way too, but never found a book or talked to someone who actually met her. When I asked a passing monk, he just aswered "The Turtle moves"

Lukaas gives the woman a smile and a nod, bowing to kiss her hand Madam, it has been a pleasure to meet you, and I personnaly assure you that no offense is taken for your little tale. We all must seize all the little pleasure in our lives, mustn't we, and I hope more pleasures will come into yours. You seem to care much for your neighborough, and that is commendable, but please don't forget to take care of yourself too... Sleight of hand: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24 She will discover, to her surprise later, two gold coins surreptitiously ensconced in her cleavage

I may be wrong, but she _the neighbour-lives with three young kids, and nothing much interesting happens in her life. For once, she was the hero of the story. I think it's plausible that she embellished her once in a lifetime "adventure", saying she took something heavy to break the door to help her neighbour. Maybe the door was open, or at least not closed. But it's far less attention grabbing to tell. We bards are, quite often, guilty of the same pleasure: it's not much the truth of the tale that count for the crowd, its the way it's told... Was the motherly woman frail or heavy set/muscular? Are we unto something or just extrapolating?

Lukaas was sipping some wine while listening. He's a very good listener, and take his wine tasting seriously. Know Nature: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 6 + 2 = 14 Hello there, my name is Lukaas Penn. I've heard about the bleaching, but never witnessed it. It happens to gnomes, and gnomes only as far as I know. He's quite tall, but burly, and in his mid twenties. His clothes are large, of good quality but nothing ostentatious.. Brown hair, black eyes, bushy beard, he wears a tatooed tear under his left eye. He doesnt carry much weapons, a rapier and a light crossbow, and cherishes a splendid luth. Maybe I should buy warmer clothes...The Land of the Linlorm Kings isn't known for his warm climate

Your smile returning on your lips because of your son coming back is worth all the treasures, for me, and it truly warmth my heart to see a family together. But alas, the Society asked us specifically for the Horn of Aroden, and we completed our task. Milady, if you are in trouble and you feel the Society could help, please asks for the services of Lukaas Penn. I will do my utmost to be useful

Truth is a marvelous thing. So we have to use it sparringly, and choose who deserves it. Maybe you could say that you had your suspicions about the blacksmith's link with a band of bandits, but you had no tangible proof, and you didn't want to accuse him publicly without evidence? So, without telling anyone, not even your own dearest mother, you took upon yourself to seek the truth, even if that would challenge your safety, pulling the wool on the blacksmith eyes in your quest to find evidence. And truth to be told, the man was indeed in league with a group of bandits, who were waiting to ambush you on his own orders. Diplo: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (9) + 12 = 21

Taking 10 for Know Nature, total 18 Beware, it's a terrorbird. If we get closer to its nest, it will attack to defend its youth. It's a predatorial bird. But if you don't do anything threatening, I have an idea...Feel free to swim-decently, Miss Ella, I don't want to be distracted now- while I put my plan in action Lukaas starts whistling, mimicking the sound of birds in an attempt to communicate with the terrorbird Fascinate (Su): At 1st level, a bard can use his performance to cause one or more creatures to become fascinated with him. Each creature to be fascinated must be within 90 feet, able to see and hear the bard, and capable of paying attention to him. The bard must also be able to see the creatures affected. The distraction of a nearby combat or other dangers prevents this ability from working. For every three levels the bard has attained beyond 1st, he can target one additional creature with this ability.
