About Lorkas
Lorkas Craros is a thin, pale half-elf that grew up with nothing but ridicule among the other people of his town, Tolguth. Even his mother was cruel to him, always calling him useless, just like his father.
History:
Lorkas spent much of his time out in the woods near Tolguth due to the constant stream of jokes and insults aimed towards him from the other townsfolk. His father was an elf and his mother a human. This made him the only half-elf in the neighborhood. Being called different and ugly drove Lorkas out and made him cherish nature. It never made fun of him or called him names. Only the sweet, soothing sounds of the wind and the water. In the woods, he learned to traverse through the trees and how to live off the land, as he didn't want to go back into the town where he could be relentlessly bullied. In the woods, Lorkas met an old druid, who sat around most of his day tending to his flowers outside of his home. Lorkas made friends with him as he never said anthing about his race. He was soon being taught how to cast simple spells. Over the years, Lorkas grew fonder of nature and vowed to protect it, because it protected him when he needed it the most.
Meeting Miro:
Lorkas was on a walk through the woods one evening, looking for something that the druid needed. He heard a crack somewhere behind him, and when he turned around, out came a bear. Not knowing what to do, Lorkas shouted out in hopes someone would hear him. Sure enough, out came a wolf. The wolf growled at the bear and swiped it's claws. after a short standoff, the bear went on its way. However, Lorkas was not out of the clear yet. The wolf turned around and growled at Lorkas. It slowly advanced towards him. Lorkas thought about what the duid would do or tell him what to do, and he did just that. Lorkas calmed down and looked the wolf directly into it's eyes and soothingly said "Please stop and back away." After a few seconds the wolf stopped and put away it's teeth. Lorkas could feel a strange feeling with the wolf and soon knew that this wolf was different. It seemed like it had developed feelings for the half-elf. As Lorkas began to walk away from the scene, the wolf followed and would not leave when told. Lorkas soon decided to let it follow him and take care of him. Soon after, Lorkas decided to call him Miro.
