About Lisbet Bjornsdottir

Background:
Lisbet was on a viking with her father and brother and they were ambushed late one night by Scarzni thugs. Though they fought off the bandits, father was mortally wounded and died just after first light. With tear streaked eyes, Lisbet and her brother vowed revenge. Not even a week after their father's murder they had found the killers and settled the blood-debt. Before it was finished, an old Scarzni witch screamed unholy words in an alien tongue and threw her worn Harrow deck at Lisbet. When the deck hit her, the cards first fluttered toward the ground, but never settled. Each card flew up, brushing along her skin, making tiny nicks and cuts in her flesh. After what seemed like an eternity, the cards stopped. Falling to the ground lifeless. Lisbet hoped that was the end of the witch's curse, but it seems it was not. She found that she had a host of malicious spirits playing about her, pulling her hair, moving her belts, and hiding things in her bags. She also found that she could cast some divine spells. It seems her future was rewritten on those Harrow cards; written in her own blood by a dying witch and her curse.
