You said you'd take this into account... I'm itching to do something, so excuse me. ^^; If it's wrong, please everyone ignore it. Limmerick abruptly bursts from Lym's hood, shrieking not at the top of his voice - because two-legs wouldn't be able to hear - but within their pitiful range. The bat flutters above and around his master, continuing to scream as if in distress.

I am running emergency recruitment for a Healer-type character in my campaign, the Seven Prayers! Please read the character creation guidelines, look over the general posting and let me know if you're interested. Currently, my party is ascending an evil Wizard's tower, so there is going to need to be a reason for you to be in there. You could be a prisoner awaiting the dining pleasure of the tower's guards, or you could be a member of the Goblin tribe that used to live in the caves at the foot of the tower. If the latter, then obviously you need to break the mould. ;) Shoot me your designs and we'll pm about the particulars.

Limmerick is fluttering around and above the group, flying to the limit of the bond tethering him to his mistress, then back to touch base with her -- and gain a charge of Detect Magic -- before going out to scout ahead and back and around again. While the bat tries to remain unobtrusive, he is also working to ensure no one sneaks up on the party. Perception 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23

The bat, augmented by a cantrip from Lym, flies a quick, wide circuit around the mill. Provided he encounters no hostility, he closes the circuit in closer and closer, until he makes one last, close circuit around the place and flies back to his mistress. Limmerick gets the use of one Detect Magic spell and looks out for guards and other inconveniences. Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8. Don't you just love familiars? ;) |
