Active Effects:
False Life: +11 hp

Tomaru bashes the downed ogre.
Morningstar +1:
to hit 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19 Damage 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Thordak Ironheart
Thordak grins, "HA! C'mon ya big dumb git! Time ta take a nap with the worms!" He swings at the ogre as he slides right at him.
AoO
+1 Ogre hook w/PA: 1d20 + 10 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 10 + 4 = 19
Damage: 2d8 + 16 + 3 ⇒ (5, 7) + 16 + 3 = 31
Ref: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26 HA! I would complain and wonder where was that on my attack, but, seeing how I'll be able to keep my feet, I won't. :)
Turning and seeing the wood with a clear cut mark, "That was close, laddie, but not close enough." He winks, obviously taunting the creature.

The ogre's sliding bulk slams into the wall, taking Praxim down in a heap on top of it. Blue circle means you are prone. The smell of bile and filth from the creature is enough to make anyone gag, let alone someone rolling in a pile with it. But, it dies quickly...arrow, hook, and mace finish it where it lays.
At the end of the hall, you hear a familiar voice purring at you. "Oooh my darlings, back so soon? Looking for your lost friend? I'm afraid you'll find him quite safe. In fact, he waits oh-so-patiently for his true love's return...me!" She snarls the last word, and levels a wand at you. A small red ball of flame flies down the hall, detonating as hit reaches the door!
Reflex saves everyone down there. Rhi and Tomaru get +2 on the save due the cover of the doorway, Lym, you get +4.
Fireball DMG: 6d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 2, 4, 1, 1) = 16; 16, or 8 if you make a DC 18 save.
ROUND TWO: NEW ORDER Rhianni, Praxim, Thordak, Lym, ogre, Tomaru, Lucrecia.

Active Effects:
Shield of Faith: +3 deflection bonus
Reflex: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 4 + 2 = 12
There go those temporary hit points.
Kellen Wrensler
Just let me know if I am in the hallway on the map, please.
Sounds like snake-lady's causing trouble...see if I can use that to my advantage." With that he quaffs a potions of cure moderate wounds and invisibility before he enters the hallway outside.

Thordak Ironheart
Ref: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15 Does a wand count as a spell? I've got the Hardy dwarven trait, which won't help me this time but it might help for future reference if it does count.
Hp's 84/100; AC 27

For now, Kellen does his best to follow the bunch and see what happens - weapon drawn. He also takes the chance to observe Lucrecia to determine if there's a way to disarm her of her rapier or other gear.
Stealth: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (17) + 12 = 29
Perception: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (15) + 11 = 26

Fuming from being blasted, "Alright, lassie, you've asked for it! I'll be soon to finish you off once I get through stupid here!" Thordak takes a swing at the ogre as he lets his anger take over, hoping to finish it off quickly so he can deal with the large woman.
Rage 2/23; Not sure if I have to take a 5' step or not. Not sure how far and ogre hook can reach.
+1 Ogre hook w/PA: 1d20 + 12 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 12 + 4 = 25

Praxim
Reflex: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13
Praxim grunts as the ogre falls on him, and again as the fire blasts him. He delays until everybody who's going to take a swing at the remaining ogre has done so. Whether it goes down or not, Praxim then pushes the dead creature off of him and stands up.
He lays hands on himself: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 6, 5) = 15
Lym Blackhand
Reflex save 1d20 + 5 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 5 + 4 = 27
Lym grunts at the fiery impact, but does not falter. Instead, she steps up behind the others, chanting under her breath. Sighting past the ogre, the Half-Orc drops a small chunk of something rubbery and horrible to the ground.
"I learn from my mistakes, if barely," she says, her voice grim. "Do you?"
All around Lucrecia, horrible purple tentacles rip themselves out of the ground, accompanied by a high-pitched chittering from somewhere below. Or perhaps, somewhere Below...?
Lym casts Black Tentacles, filling Lucrecia's area. The tentacles move to grapple, of course: 1d20 + 8 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 8 + 4 + 1 = 32!
Old Guy GM
I'm back. Thordak, you do indeed have to take a 5' step into the grease.
Thordak takes a step into the grease, and it's that unsure footing that makes him miss his attacks. Rolled a 20 on your Ref save.
Two other ogres charge around the corner - right into Lym's black tentacles! One is caught immediately, the other manages to fight its way forward. The ogre in front of Thordak attacks with a maniacal fury, but to no avail.
Tomaru, then Lucrecia
Old Guy GM
Lym Blackhand
I forgot: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9 damage to every creature grappled by the tentacles!
Tomaru
Tomaru summons forth a starknife of made of arcane energy and has it strike at the ogre.
Spiritual Weapon:
to hit 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (3) + 11 = 14 Damage 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Kellen Wrensler
Welcome back.
I would assume to melee attack would also put me at risk for the tentacles, so a couple of things to do.
Kellen readies his crossbow. He then checks the door just to right to see if it is unlocked and accessible - hoping Lucrecia and the ogre are too distracted to notice.
Stealth: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (5) + 12 = 17
Perception: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (2) + 11 = 13
Assuming the room is unoccupied, he will work on attacking next.
Old Guy GM
Tomaru's mace does not connect with the ogre, swinging wildly in space.
Lucrecia gestures, fighting the tentacles that try to entangle her. With an audible 'pop!', she disappears and reappears in front of them.
"Oh dear one, I have learned much, but have YOU?" Lucrecia crows, staring at Lym.
NEW ROUND, ROUND 3: Rhi, Prax, Thor, Lym
Praxim
"Rhi, make haste," Praxim cries out.
Arrow at Ogre: 1d20 + 15 + 2 + 1 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (17) + 15 + 2 + 1 + 1 - 2 = 34

Damage: 1d8 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 1 + 2d6 ⇒ (7) + 2 + 2 + 2 + 1 + (2, 6) = 22
Arrow at Ogre: 1d20 + 10 + 2 + 1 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (3) + 10 + 2 + 1 + 1 - 2 = 15
Damage: 1d8 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 1 + 2d6 ⇒ (5) + 2 + 2 + 2 + 1 + (3, 5) = 20
If hasted, those attacks have an additional +1, and he fires an extra arrow.
Arrow at Ogre: 1d20 + 15 + 2 + 1 + 1 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (15) + 15 + 2 + 1 + 1 + 1 - 2 = 33
Damage: 1d8 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 1 + 2d6 ⇒ (6) + 2 + 2 + 2 + 1 + (2, 1) = 16
If the ogre goes down before he's done, the rest of the arrows go into Lucrecia. The attack rolls are unchanged, but the damage rolls lose the 2d6, but gain 6 extra points each.
Kellen Wrensler
With Lucrecia out of sight, Kellen uses his crossbow to fire at the remaining ogre entangled and then steps into the room to keep out of sight. Assuming a 5' step is reasonable after the attack.
Crossbow: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 10 = 22
Damage: 1d10 ⇒ 9
Sneak Attack: 3d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 1) = 9
Lym Blackhand
Spell penetration: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 20
"You be the judge," Lym grates. Throwing herself flat against the wall, the Half-Orc thrusts out her arm, aiming the tip of her index finger over Thordak and past the Ogre -- and chants Words of Power: "NIVIS CASUS!"
A bead of bright blue light goes flying from Lym's hand, zipping past the Ogre until it reaches Lucrecia -- and there it expands into a sphere of deathly blue light and howling, arctic wind as Lym's Iceball spell comes into effect!
Lym casts Iceball. I think that with some judicious aiming, it can get Lucrecia and the two Ogres behind her. Reflex save DC 18 to halve 8d6 + 2 ⇒ (2, 2, 2, 6, 3, 3, 1, 5) + 2 = 26 cold damage.
Thordak Ironheart
With those rolls by Praxim, I'm gonna go with the fact he destroyed the ogre right next to Thordak. So if that's the case, he will heads toward Big Lady.
"Here I come ya oversized, no good, worthless...!" Thordak grumbles angrily as he heads toward Lucrecia.
Ref: 1d20 + 6 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 6 + 4 = 11 +4 is Superstition rage power. Edit: Not that it matters.
Just as he moves without a thought, he legs slide completely out from under him and he hits the ground, landing hard on his rump. "BLAST!" he yells, now even more furious.

Rhianai steps into the doorway and sings a faat tune, inspiring your actions to move! Cast Haste
Praxim's arrows take the ogre in the right eye, dropping it where it stands. His other efforts, however, are not so successful. His first arrow at Lucrecia misses her entirely, and the second appear to strike her, only to have a shifty image of her go 'pop!' Apperently, she also can spells multiple times, for her protective images are up again...
The iceball spell does its work, and from the roars of pain, you know that the ogres die in its searing cold.
"Indeed I will, but you shall help me..." Lucrecia intones with a soft, silky voice. Lym is drawn into the lamia matriarch's eyes, and nothing else seems to matter...

Assuming the strands are still there and no one is left around...
Seeing the way blocked, Kellen pulls a pike from the armory and makes his way back to the double doors in the hallway just to the left.
Assuming he doesn't run into any trouble, he checks the double doors sees what's in the room as carefully as possible.

Can I tell that Lym is controlled, because, frankly, I'm scared of her. I've seen her wield that falchion before. I'm standing right next to her. Not to mention her impressive magical talent. If I can, I'll drop the readied action and cast Protection from Evil on Lym, giving her another roll to shake off the control with a +2 morale bonus.
Old Guy GM
Praxim's arrows fill the hallway. One, destined for an eye, is thwarted by the mirror images, but another strikes true. The lamia matriarch grimaces in pain, but does not falter.
"Come to me dear," she says softly to Lym, "we have much to discuss, you and I. About lessons learned, and the power of your betters." She smiles evilly. "Mind the grease dear. Do take your time." Lym sets out to obey her newest friend, and learn as much as she can from the powerful creature. Fate, as it would have it, intervenes: two steps into the grease Lym's feet fly out from under her and she goes down in a heap next to Thordak.
Rhianni steps round the door and lets fly with her wand of Magic Missile.
Just need Thordak. Tomaru, to notice Lym's 'condition', you can make a DC 10 Perception check, add +2 because something is -obviously- not quite right.

Limmerick
You said you'd take this into account... I'm itching to do something, so excuse me. ^^; If it's wrong, please everyone ignore it.
Limmerick abruptly bursts from Lym's hood, shrieking not at the top of his voice - because two-legs wouldn't be able to hear - but within their pitiful range. The bat flutters above and around his master, continuing to scream as if in distress.

OK those doors aren't an option right now then. If I move back to the hallway corner, can I spot Lucrecia from there without getting myself entangled?
If that's not possible, what would be my check to slip through them to the other side? Acrobatic check or my CMD versus the tentacles' CMB?
