I have an aasimar purifier Oracle that I can submit. The general concept is to pass out some buffs, and then use Purifier's channel to harm demons, while pushing them away from vulnerable targets, or pulling them in toward our melee ones, while still falling back on 9th level casting.
She is currently Level 1 because she was in a failed WotR campaign that died in the first room, but I can update her to Level 4 if you wish.
Hmmm, well if you feel all the basics are covered, then I think I'll submit an Oracle that has started a few previous WotR games, but sadly none of them progressed past the very first starting area in Book 1. I really love the character, and would appreciate the chance to be able to play her in an active campaign. I'm perfectly happy to level her up to Level 7 / Mythic 1 or just provide a written explanation as to what route she is planning on taking.
Lily hides a smile at the man talking rather defensively. "As you wish" she casually replies, before turning and making an effort to see a little further through the tunnels ahead, determined to see what is up ahead.
Lily nods in acceptance at Elmae's comment. Somewhat freaked out by the phenomenon, she carefully and quietly loads her crossbow, before firing once she has a clear shot at the creature.
Giving my (combat) action now because I'll be away for roughly 32 hours and don't want this slowed down
Like, Elmae, I am perfectly ok with either option. Objectively speaking, we potentially don't_need_a new player, but that doesn't mean at all that a new player wouldn't be welcome, and it does allow the opportunity for extra rp, so I am totally at ease with what we decide to do.
Lily nods her head in agreement, "An excellent proposal Tchirash, one I am sure we can all get behind".
Privately, Lily was very pleased at her position in the line, out of the thick of things, but still being within an easy position to help others as required. Lily had no fear of combat, but knew enough to understand her current limitations, content to wait until her divine power manifested further.
4. Works best on a weapon user that needs to bypass DR. Seeing as Olivia has Smite to bypass DR, and Salomae is more of a spellcaster, then 4. should go to Elmae.
1 and 3 are pretty fillar, and its going to come down to player personal preference.
Dammit, I keep switching up my pathfinder nick and my WotR nick
Lily staggers slightly as she touches her scale, feeling a sudden influx of pain and sadness. A moment later, the feeling passes but Lily feels slightly disturbed, but idly wonders if she can contact the silver dragon in the spirit world once she has progressed with her studies.
Show off, Lily thinks to herself as she sees Elma's demonstration, fully aware that her own powers were more difficult to demonstrate in a positive light, suspecting no-one would be impressed if she broke into their mind. Pushing all of this to one side, Lily inclines her head slightly
"My name is Lily, Lily Taharial, Purifier Oracle of Iomedae"
I'll take the consecrate scale since I think it only works for me or Olivia and of the two of us, I will (eventually), be having a stronger focus on channel energy.
Align weapon would be best suited being given to someone that needs the ability to bypass DR and frequently enters melee combat. I don't think Olivia needs it due to Smite, so maybe Tchirash or Milhar would most enjoy it.
Disguise Scale obviously goes to someone that prefers to use the Bluff skill often. This would usually be Lily but since Consecrate seems to be directed at me someone else would best enjoy it.
The other scales seem non specific, I guess they work for everyone.
Also just a note but Milhar seemed to miss (or perhaps its not listed, I'm fairly sure I got it), that fact that Lily has Knowledge Planes and will continue to put points into it as she levels. Just thought its worth mentioning in case someone else wants to put skill points somewhere else.
EDIT: Ah, it was my mistake, I never posted Lilys' skills. For the record, I'm putting points into Bluff (+8), Diplomacy (+10), Knowledge: Planes (+5), Knowledge: Religion (+5), and Use Magic Device (+8).
EDIT 2: Ah, I see it was mentioned that Lily had Knowledge: Planes and I just entirely missed it. My mistake.
Lily splutters slightly, trying to clear her throat. With the dust upsetting her throat, Lily marshals herself, casting Create Water, drinking her fill and soothing herself, before struggling to catch her bearings, attempting to remember what had happened before she was...here, but failing miserably.
Dusting herself off, Lily abruptly realised she wasn't the only person in the cavern, and belatedly realised that not everyone had access to her superior vision. Muttering a quiet word in the darkness, Lily cast a Light spell, filling the cavern with a pale glow as she examines the other people in the cavern with her.
Lily falls into step behind a priest of Iomadae as she makes her way into the square, before splitting off and disappearing into the crowd. Today is a good day, Lily reflected to herself, having spent the night free from nightmares, the dreams having been replaced by spirits showing her acts of valour of the past, a fine change of pace from what she would usually see.
Lily wanders through the crowd, soaking up the atmosphere, while making a mental note to stop by the Jousting competition later to see the talent on display.
I'm always open to advice, so if someone wants to recommend something to me, be it a spell, feat, skill choice or mythic path selection, I'm always open to it!
Agreeing with Hotaru, although I think comparing Hierophant with Archmage is a little unfair. Archmage is pretty much the strongest mythic path in existence although I agree that paizo stuck with the "healbot" way of viewing things. I just wish Archmage didn't specify "arcane spells" for so many of its paths, there are some cool path abilities archmage offers that could easily work for a divine caster, but for some reason the mythic writers just put Divine Casters in a box and said "lets assume all you can do is heal" :(
That said, it wasn't particularly difficult to find good abilities for my Purifier Oracle, I just wish I could have been challenged for choice more like I am in various other Mythic paths.
Worth noting that as a Trickster you can pick up Limitless Range to multiply the range increment of your ranged attacks by 5 feet, which puts you even further.
And yes, I never really understood why people called the Trickster path weak, when a Mythic Ninja Trickster becomes fully undetectable and gets guaranteed sneak attack just for picking up Titan's Bane, as well as picking up Path Dabble for stuff like Fleet Warrior from the Champions path. Every path has its own strengths and weaknesses (although I do wish that Hierophant didn't focus so much on "dedicated healers" for the vast majority of its abilities), which makes it exceptionally fun =]
Backstory and crunch should be in her profile, so I'll just list a few misc stuff here
Gameplay Role:
Lily is a supporting character, basically standing on the sidelines with a few buff spells at the ready, as well as healing spells. At 5th level she can channel energy as a cleric to harm outsiders, giving her some offensive presence, and should be able to pick up the Channel Force line of feats to throw enemies around for some battlefield control. Like most divine casters, she plans on going for the Hierophant mythic path. Out of combat, Lily can act quite a nice face if required
Personality:
Just realised I missed this out in my backstory. Lily is a hardened individual, as an orphan she has had a tougher run through life that most, and obviously doesn't have the greatest amount of trust towards adults. Despite this, she is quick with a smile, and is happy to mediate disputes. Left to her own devices, she has the habit of brooding over controlling her occult powers so she prefers to spend most of her time with others rather than being alone. Close friends of Lily would not she appears slightly tired, as if she still has sleeping difficulties.
