About Leila Greentistle
The small halfling woman is clad in a dress of hide and woven vegetable matter, dyed green and brown. It is complimented by a fur overcoat and contrasted by her sand blond hair. A small collection of pouches and tools hangs from her belt; a razor sharp piece of obsidian to cut with and a sling-staff among other more benign things. She carries herself with a positive, but perhaps a bit off, atmosphere.
Leila always had a fascination for the night sky. Even at a young age, she would stay up and loose herself in its radiant glory. When she showed an aptitude for magic, she beseeched the stars themselves instead of the spirits of earth and air as was customary. For a time, her high spirits and sweet personality let the elders overlook this oddity, but not forever. When a great calamity befell the clan the spirits displeasure with her antics where plain for the elders to see. In their wisdom, they sought to make right from wrong and urged her to leave.
Thrown into the larger, confusing, world Leila and her pet fox Dazzle wandered aimlessly for a while pondering their course of action. She once more sought solace in the welcoming glow of the night sky and decided to decipher its secrets. While she found purpose, she wasn't awfully sure on how to achieve this lofty goal. So she mostly wandered some more - but halflings are social creatures and even a cunning fox and the distant stars can't fulfil the need for conversation and proper interaction. But what is that - she wondered softly - people?

The curious white fox have an aura of oddity around it. Sometimes it lingers just a little bit too long in the air while jumping, seemingly hanging in thin air for a moment. Minuscule silvery spots cover the sleek body - and one could swear that they moved slightly since yesterday...
Leila found Dazzle as a kit during one of her nightly escapades, and decided that the trapped mewling little creature was an omen from the stars themselves. In truth, the fox does share some mystic link with the night sky - but if this is due to Leila's latent magic talent or actual divine interaction is debatable. Nevertheless, the fox shares his companions sunny and playful personality.
