Thanks for running the game even if it didn't last.

I disagree that a Warrior from just the Spheres book isn't viable.

Mageknight can be very viable.

I do agree that a skills build is nearly impossible though. I managed o do it but had to be very convoluted to do it.

For what it's worth I think you'd be fine with allowing Spheres + Core Classes using their Sphere Archetypes. That's what I'm doing in a home game right now.

Lanaral examines the portal with a quizzical look.

Lanaral moves closer to the archway to examine it.

Lanaral sings a haunting wordless melody and stares intently ahead of them.

Lanaral continues walking and rejoins the group.

"I see. Thank you for your time. Hopefully this will help you feed your family. Pardon me but I must go help the others."

Lanaral quickly takes out a few gps and hands them to the closest person before running back toward the group.

"I see. Can you tell me anything else about what happened to the cart? Did you see anything strange?"

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (13) + 13 = 26

That's probably high enough for me to get an accurate impression

Can I do a sense motive to see if they're believable?

Keep in mind I have a 40 ft base speed.

Lanaral chases after them calling on them to stop. "Hold fellows!"

Lanaral finishes his wine then gets up and stretches before easily catching up.

"I'm always happy to lend a hand. No coin needed."

"I go wherever feels right. You might say I'm a traveler too.

"Oh come now, I thought it was sweet." The Tall Elf says with a grin as he surveys the table.

"He's obviously trying to make her feel more at home and comfortable sitting with a group of strangers."

He lowers his head to smile at the smaller pair. "Easiest way to do that in my opinion is stop being strangers. I'm Lanaral, pleased to meet you."
