Olivia puts a hand to her chin as she thinks, then says "It might need to be through a church, then. That shrine from way back when we first met you, if we built a church, who do you think the locals would want to see it dedicated to? I'm guessing Erastil?"

Olivia is busying herself with maintaining and repairing blades and armour, which is part of her ritual to Iomedae.

Hello everyone. I received a message from Amandine requesting that I return. I departed due to a lot of pressure from juggling too much d&d, and I'd be interested in returning now that that burden has lifted.
That is if you're okay with having me back. I understand that unannounced absences aren't good for morale.

Dro'gan approaches semi-loudly and out of direct reach of the obviously upset Paladin.

"Well my Lady. That was...AKWARD...to say the least. May I offer an ear? I've been told by many that merely telling one's problem to a trusted person can sometimes offer clarity...or at least some relief. Or am I stepping out of bounds and/or not trustworthy of your thoughts? Either way I would not be offended, but I assure you your words are safe with me as long as they do not run counter with Lady Amandine's plans."

Oliva shrugs. "I trust you to keep things confidential, Dro'gan." She leans against a wall and crosses her arms. Looking past Dro'gan, she says. "I'm simply embarrassed that I mistook Ms. Meraki as a Shelynite, and she corrected me in the presence of the Baron. Now I feel very confused, and ashamed that I've spent so long unaware of the truth, though that truth still escapes me. Was I the only one who did not know which God we received all our blessings from?"

Olivia stands between the lobby and the outdoors, obviously unsure what to do with herself. She looks frustrated.

I made a scene, but that doesn't mean you have to follow it if you don't want to.

Olivia suddenly goes beet red and her eyes get wide and frightful. She looks at Baron Telus and Meraki, and all others who may be staring at her.

"Please, excuse me." She says, then swiftly retreats from the scene.

Olivia bows towards Meraki. "Your holy virtues never cease to impress me, Miss Hannan. We should erect a shrine to Shelyn in her honour, perhaps it could be made to help shelter these outcasts?"

"On behalf of my Lady Betony, I wish to assure my Lord that Jambis and the barony shall be restored. We ask only that your Grace shall look favourably over Stachys and the Betony family in the future. These are troubled times, and we will need our allies more than ever in the times to come. I wish my Lord a swift recovery, and may the Gods be with you."

"My Lord, if I may, I wish to introduce you to Lady Amandine Betony, heir to the Betony estate. My Lady is most interested in making your acquaintance."

Olivia bows deeply to the Baron Telus

We can't have it all. I'm happy with where we are

"Yes, please." Olivia answers

Olivia nods. "I'm sure we could ask for support from our allies. Plotting against one-another is a noble's favourite pass-time. What we will need is some way to arm our peasants."

"I was merely following the plan." Olivia retorts in the competition of modesty. "I admit the torch throwing was too much, but I didn't feel as though I had many options. I'm glad it all turned out well. Only time will tell how the Baron will govern, but I believe this is the best scenario we could have asked for. What is our aim now?"

Olivia admires the magical suit of plate armour. While it isn't as historically significant as the breastplate of Captain Cortes, it is the pinnacle of armour smithing.

Once she's finished putting the armour on, she lifts the visor of the sallet helmet. "I feel nearly impenetrable... mmm that's not the word I should have used. I feel well protected."

AC is now 24. Jeez

"Well surely the armour is worth more than the wand." Olivia points out

"This stuff doesn't belong to us." Olivia states while cleaning.

"I'll help clean. I pray the Baron's mind restores soon, and to its original sanity."

Fun fact, here in Canada we have a phone company called Telus (Tell-us), except their customer service is the absolute worst, so they don't really want us to Telthem.

Olivia yawns as the hours pass. She's used her spell to keep her up for the night.

When Meraki comes back to remove the curse, Olivia is a bit surprised. She's used to getting her spells back in the morning.

Hurriedly, Olivia goes back to the Baron spider. The only thing she can do to help, if it does anything at all, is to use a vial of holy water to anoint him for the blessing.

We may have to wait 24 hrs.

Olivia will walk through the castle to search for any kinds of supplies. Perhaps there's something that may weaken the curse, or loot. Loot is good.

Olivia thinks for a moment, then replies
"That's very humble of you, miss Hannan. I'm sure there is plenty I could learn about the teachings of Iomedae myself. I definitely spend more time on sword techniques than actually reading The Acts."

Olivia raises an eyebrow as he stares upwards to the ceiling, pondering the bits of the Shelynite faith that she knows of. All this talk of the moon sounds Elven to her, or maybe Desnan. "I didn't know Shelyn cared about the night and transition. Is that lore something to do with her brother, the Midnight Lord?"

Regarding looking after the Baron, Olivia volunteers for the task. Her holy judgement yet lingers on the unconscious person/monster.

"Do you need any assistance from us, Miss Hannan? I am well versed in religious rituals, though I do not have any spells to rid curses."

Olivia sheathes her sword and smiles. "Ladies, gentleman, the castle is ours."

"Don't worry about me. Do what you need to do!" Olivia shouts. She moves away from the swarm, then stares at Telus with burning radiant eyes. "By the light of the Inheritor, I smite you!" She yells. Armed with only a torch and a shield, Olivia whips the torch up at the man-made-monster.

Olivia stands before the double doors. "Dro'gan, quit looting the dead and come look over these doors for any traps."

"This is morbid. I pray he already perished." Olivia says as she helps Dro'gan heave up the man.

Olivia can help with the barricading

Olivia races as fast as she can towards the sound of Dro'gan's death scream.

Olivia swiftly backs away from the swarm, and thanks Iomedae for showing them to her before she would be overrun.

Completely oblivious that two allies are sneaking, Olivia decides to walk into the kitchen to get an idea of what the foul stench is all about. It may be a body.

Olivia takes a few steps around the corner to take a better look at the collapsed 5th doorway. She does her best to hold her torch in such a way that her shadow obscures light from going under the closed door to her left.

I wish you well on your recovery, Meraki. One of my best friends came down with Covid, and a difficult part of her recovery was to take things slowly instead of just jumping back into her work.
