@ Darkmeer Looks like I’ve landed on your recruitment thread too late; with the addition of the halfling magus and human rogue, it seems like all the slots are filled? If that is so, wish all of you an awesome campaign; I’ve heard good things of Curse of the Crimson Throne!

While this is an old thread, it was linked a few months ago. I would like to add food for thoughts from Vic's assessment on this topic: I have been one of those predominantly digital-only customer. While I do come to the site regularly and the purchasing process is smooth enough that I don't hesitate to buy anything I'm interested in, you could have been making a lot more money from me... If there were digital subscriptions, I would have signed up for most (possibly all) of them. Purchasing new material is instead an active consumer experience - I need to have the time to peruse the new material, read up on it to see if it's something I'm interested in at that time, and and if so, I'll go buy it... I am sure that in 2013 (almost 2014) you have many other customers like I with who you are leaving a lot of unclaimed revenues. Food for thoughts.

Nice thread & intro! Day of the Demon: I only played this one.
Spoiler: I was suspicious of the girl's true nature throughout the scenario, cast detection spells on her (obscured), role played interactions of distrust with her. It was memorable when she revealed in the final fight.

Indeed, there are still many seats available, and many scenarios are for lower tiers. It's a great time for anyone curious to try out Fantasy Grounds' rich rules integration! Newcomers are welcome - don't be shy or intimidated, the Fantasy Grounds community is warm and welcoming!

That is dedicated of you! Thanks for pouring your energy, passion & resources into online play. (And just ignore the grumpy voices who don't appreciate it... ;) )

PFS Fridays on Fantasy Grounds return this week with a Friday the 13th horror special! (Hosted by Venture-Lieutenant Martin Blake) PFS #7: Among the Living (level 1-7) Famed Pathfinder Bodriggan Wuthers disappeared from his dig site beneath the House of the Immortal Son in Taldor's gilded capital of Oppara. Once a grand temple to Aroden, the Immortal Son is now Oppara's most opulent theater. Sent to locate Wuthers, the Pathfinders must attend an opera with members of the Oppara elite in order to gain access to the secretive theater's dig site. When a cult crashes the performance and the nobility change into hideous walking dead, the Pathfinders are forced to choose between finding Wuthers or saving themselves. See the Game Forum Thread for more details. This game can be played with the free unregistered version of Fantasy Grounds.

Great to see PFS online play getting more organized! :) I'd guess there's half a dozen Fantasy Grounds GMs missing from the list. I'm cautiously optimistic that, by comparing to the posted stats, there could actually be over 150 online GMs if it's the same ratio of GMs who missed the open call for the other VTT's...?

The face will always be a high Cha class because that's pretty much the definition of a face: the one that does all the talking. The party leader will usually be whoever wants to take the role, which will have very little to do with abilities or classes or anything. Playing in such a group now. The face is the halfling bard, but the leader is the low charisma, high wisdom dwarf cleric. In our case, the leader was chosen by the group to assign the person who takes the final decisions. |
