My character is now firmly, if just barely, level 3. But other than that your text is accurate.
This will make my barbarian go to level 3, just in time for a game tonight! Whoo! Assuming this is a 4exp mission at least.
I'm going to use Performance.
Downtime I think. Do we use the skills of the characters we played, or the characters we are assigning credit to?
"I recommend bringing them up. If nothing else, a proper funeral is almost always appropriate."
"And not just the chronicle. Some of the wizards might wish for some of their notes back as well."
"My goddess, quite prolific little thieves weren't they? I'm surprised they got away with it as long as they have."
"Do be more careful Amiri," Kyra says as she begins to cast a spell. "I am beginning to run low on readied healing options."
"I would be happy to. Does anyone else need any? I am beginning to run out of prepared options and I want to be efficient."
"Disgusting. Ezren, do you know that cleaning cantrip that some wizards have? I suspect Meriseil would very much appreciate it." If she can, Kyra will use Stabilize on one of the two alchemists (if they can be stabilized.
Kyra moves to be on the opposite side of the device, and tries to strike the contraption twice.
Kyra is going to attempt an attack against the target.
Give the mild success, Kyra makes another attack.
"Ezren, is this a situation that we handle Amiri's way, or yours?"
Kyra moves twice and then slashes at the doll with her scimitar.
Kyra carefully readies her weapon. "Any bets on this being simply a malfunctioning piece of arcane equipment?"
Though she is the one that spotted it first, Kyra is dubious that she can identify the plant growth, as it is far outside her usual specialties.
Kyra walks slowly down the hallway, checking for hidden doors and concealed hazards as she moves.
"Yes, let's"
"Proceed with caution Amiri. You do not wish to run into anything down here."
Kyra looks dubious. "If you say so." She gestures down the hallways. "So should we head down the large or small passage? My preference is the small passage first, but it is not a strong one."
After handing over the ring Kyra will begin a slow circuit of the room, looking for anything out of the ordinary.
Kyra considers the ring for a moment, before handing it over to Ezren. "I suspect you will have more luck identifying what magic is on this ring than I will."
"Most people would consider that a good thing, Amiri."
"I found something interesting, but not necessarily relevant. Has anyone else had any luck?"
"I will investigate the crates. Fumbus and Ezren, you might be better off reading the papers." Kyra sets words to actions by going over and investigating the crates.
Kyra, having been made aware of the trap, will wait for Merisiel to disable the rest of the nozzles before she moves further into the room.
"I will prepare a torch." Suiting words to actions, Kyra lights a torch, and proceeds down the stairs, being careful of traps.
"Well nothing to it but descend I suppose. Cwethan, can you provide a light or should I light a torch? Maybe both."
"Here let me help with that." With a wave of her hand and a muttered word, Kyra touches Merisial to boost her capabilities.
"Maybe not the way I was going to go, but I suppose that works."
"If it is barred from the inside, there must be another entrance." Before she walks around the building however, she thinks to ask. "Cwethan, could you manipulate the bar with magic?"
"I don't have any other options. Does anyone else?"
My dice rolls lately, argh.
It's mostly to herself, but Kyra mutters, "How did the others get in? She then proceeds to look for that way.
"Is there a back entrance? It might not do to be seen breaking in from the street."
"Seems empty. Shall we search it?"
"Considering that obsession frequently leads to overzealousness, I suspect we will find that twins have create something the law would rather we stopped. Or at least, that's been my experience in the past. I am afraid I would be no help researching the creatures themselves, as I do not have the training. Fumbus, Ezren, do you wish to do the research or should we pay a visit to this Wishful Cures?"
[B]"Sounds like we should canvas the area. This might be something I can do decently."[b]
"Really? I hadn't seen that one." Looks at record; "It does seem that way though."
"Unfortunately I am not sure what triggered it either."
"An excellent point. How regularly is that section of the archives used?"
"I myself did not find anything of note, other than a set of shelves that need some repair and organization." Kyra sighs. "I'm afraid that pure research is not one of my stronger abilities."
"The wreckage should still be in the library, unless your cleaning crew is far more efficient than I thought." |
