Hello everyone, I have just told the group I was GMing that I would not have enough time to run that RotR game due to responsibilities at school. I do think, however that I can manage a daily post in this thread. So it is really up to the group what you want Krular to do. I can continue to post, although there might be some lapses no and again, or Krular can fade into oblivion.

Also, something to note when considering this. I am leaving for Asia on the 14th of december, not to return until the 4th of January, and thus would have severely limited posting abilities while abroad.
I will check back tomorrow

Krular steps in front of Ice Eyes and draws his longsword.
"You'll be giving that back. Last I heard, it was the gallows for those shrinking to theft in these troubled times." He heaves his sword to point it straight at the man who seems to lead the group."I won't kill you, but you will wish I did."

I just walked over during the rite, disapproving of the process.

Krular grumbles something under his breath, but he starts watching around while Gardsin hunts the trail. He keeps his eyes out for any sign of danger.

Krular doesn't notice Ice following Gardsin until he catches glimpse of her walking off and follows. He catches up as quick as he can and says, "This doesn't seem the most advantageous position for us. Perhaps, we should turn back?"

Krular grunts and walks away, uninterested in the rest of the proceedings, he goes to seek out the caravan, and finds Gardsin and Ice Eyes looking towards the jungle. "Whats going on here?"

Krular decided to go to the Rite, to see what it was all about.
He asks Captain Dar, "And exactly why are you burning him alive? Seems to me we risked our hides to save 'im, only to have you kill 'im anyhow."

At the mention of burning, Krular winces. "What're they doing that for?"

A proper, tasty meal, finally.

Krular mutters a brief introduction of himself, and begins to stuff his face with all the food set out before him. "I'm all for hunting down these beasts, always did like me a good fight for a good cause."

All Krular does to get ready for the dinner is wash his face with some soap and water. He wets his hair and brushes it out of his eyes. He also cleans the wound on his leg from the corrupted. And, reeking of a few days on the road heads to the captains quarters.

Krular joins Gardsin by the door. He did not like the way the guards accepted them, he is used to more welcoming arrivals after doing a dangerous job. He stays silent, ever alert.

Eugeni is not nearby, however, another member of the city-watch is, and gives pursuit to the theif. He chases him down an alley and out of sight. If he caught the man, you do not know as of yet.

Noa:

You, however are present, as the elves were nearby for their performance. If you give chase, you quickly catch up to the guard and pass him, soon after you catch the thief after a few minutes of pursuit through the town, near the cliffs overlooking the Old Light. I believe your speed should be 40 feet, 30 for half-elf 10 for fast movement, on your character sheet it's listed as 30. Otherwise we would have to resolve the pursuit with Dex checks.

Eugeni:

"Hmph, beats me." Then he adds, "If they 'ere scared off, it's cuz of my imposing stature,' with a gap toothed smile.

Terran:

You make it to the Rusty Dragon and find that it is absolutely packed. It takes almost an hour to get your meal and find a seat. Ameiko is frantically running about helping her employees. She sees you and smiles, "Never have I had this many customers at the same time, it's almost too much for me to handle." Some one calls her name from across the room. "Forgive me I must be off."

Lunch time is winding down and many people are heading back to the Cathedral Square for the main event of the festival.

Krular has been listening the whole time. [b] "We were still miles from the Fort when we found you, how did you manage to make it so far with your life? And..uhh...I guess this is yours, I..uh..took it from you when it seemed there was no hope."

He hands the pendant that he took earlier, then goes back into his silence.

Krular continues to sit in silence, not paying any attention to the conversation.

Krular takes the ladle, and it seems like a thimble in his enormous hands, as he is drinking from it he returns to normal sad, and looks at his hands, somewhat dissapointed.

"Thanks."

Krular calms down a bit and seems extremely tired. He sits down against the wagon and fumbles for his rations and begins gorging himself on dried fruit and nuts.

Seeing that his attack was effective Krular woops and looks around for more victims.

Krular smiles as the body of his opponent falls both to his left and to his right. He looks around for the nearest target. Charging to C7, his massive sword raised high above his head, murder is in his eyes.

He is a barbarian raised in a village, and was chased out of it for worshiping the wrong god, what did you expect?

A huge smile comes across Krular's face as he grows to be over 8 feet tall. His maniacal laughing now sounds like the deep grumbling of thunder, now he is laughing at how puny the creature next to him appears. His anger is only increasing with the pain in his leg from the previous bite. he swings his now massive sword.

Greatsword 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
Damage 3d6 + 9 ⇒ (4, 6, 1) + 9 = 20

Edit: I was really hoping that would hit, but AC 13 seems a little too low, although I really like this Enlarge Person spell.

Krular laughs with an almost inhuman voice as he is wounded, and strikes at both the creature running past him, and his new foe.

Since I am raging, my strength is now 21 and since I am using a TH weapon, I add 1 1/2 my strength mod to my damage, making it +7. Also on my first attack, I thought that I added to my attack bonus also, which is incorrect. So it's +5 to hit, and +7 damage. Once Enlarge person takes effect it will be +6 to hit, +9 damage. Sorry for the confusion.

If C6 goes down he runs towards the larger one and shouts at him,
"Come get my, you filth ridden maggots."

Krular seethes with anger at being the first one attacked. An accustomed feeling washes over him as he stares down down his opponent.

"You choose the wrong man, bud."

He is now raging.

Krular sits ready at the base of a wagon with his bow in hand. As soon as he sees movement he will shoot, drop his bow, draw his greatsword and charge.

Krular doesn't move against Jessop, but he makes it clear he doesn't want the stranger around any longer.

Krular has been quiet this whole time scanning the surroundings.

"Whatever it is, this man is leading it right to us. We need to shut him up. He's not our problem. Our duty is to the caravan and Gerald."

He walks to the man and attempts to stab him ( unless anyone show any objections)

On a quick glance, I would have to say no. I am not opposed to having flying characters, however, this will be my first PbP campaign that I am running myself, and I think that would add some complications.

Since the man is seemingly unconscious, Krular goes up to him and search his person for anything that might help us identify him or what did this to him.

Krular doesn't like the anticipation and is getting anxious and frustrated.

I'm fine with you rolling for me. As long as I can make active perception checks like I have been. I tend to avoid metganing completely, even though I know I rolled low, Krular doesn't and I will play him accordingly.

Krular returns to the center of camp making sure that everyone is awake. He weilds his greatsword in both hands waiting for any sudden movement.

He whispers to Jessop
"It's getting closer."

"Aye, I hear it. Might be it passed us by, or wants us to think so. Best be wary. I'm going to make the perimeter."The

He begins to walk around the edge of camp carefully looking for any signs of creatures nearby.

If alls well with the party, I would take dawn watch. Naturally, I tend to wake in the early hours, see to things that needs be done. I find the morning air quick soothing. Although, if there be special needs for some of our friends, I'd take the midnight watch. Sometimes. I feel two nights are better than one.

Krular sees that he will have adequate room in his tent, and sets up his gear right outside, then helps make the fire, and, once camp is struck, he sits by the fire and hums a well known tune from his homeland.

Seeing the others get in position, Krular takes his greatsword and walks to the head of the column. Periodically scanning the surroundings.

Just a thought, how are we playing cards while the caravan is moving? Are we all gathered on the one wagon with room for 3 or 4? Or playing standing up as we walk?

In between hands, Krular scans the horizon and the surroundings for signs of trouble as well as anything interesting.

What does the surrounding area look like? And I will go ahead and make a perception check for anything of interest.

"hmmm, Lem, I believe our friends here need some instruction in your rhetoric. Seems to me they are unfamiliar with the familiars of your custom. I've done a job or two with a few of you, so I have heard you little folk speak in riddles. Our new acquaintances, here, I believe have not.

He seems happy to be on the same level as Lem, and able to offer a few rhymes himself, even though he is somewhat of a brute.
Krular sits in to play, although he has played many times before, and calls the game by another name, 3 fists to the twist, he offers no further instruction to those who do not know the rules.

At the sound of Gerald's arrival Krular stirs and sits up.

"The land we will be travelling through has a reputation. It's been dangerous in the past, but a few groups are around keeping order to the place. Most notably the Emerald Guard and the Steel Legion. They may keep order, but I wouldn't trust them farther then I can throw 'em."

As the wagons begin to move Krular is obviously uncomfortable with the rocking of the wagon. He hops out with his shortbow over his back, and his greatsword leaning against his shoulder.

He keeps pace with Ice Eyes.

"Thought you were a huntress? Aren't you the sort to be awake at ungodly early hours, so as to not miss your precious prize?"

He calls out to Gardsin, "Perhaps when we have a chance to break camp, I'll hold you up to that game of Back Alley!"

Krular tosses his pack full of most of his gear into the second wagon.

Speaking softly to Gardsin
"Whatever it is, it's sealed up. For now."

He climbs up into the wagon, takes a seat, and rests his greatsword across his lap, with his shortbow by his side.

"I don't know about all of you, but I'm going to take all the rest I can get. This voyage may prove taxing."

He pulls his hood over his eyes and gets comfortable.

Look forward to playing out this homebrew, Trup has started the gameplay, and I have officially made myself part of our adventure. Happy hunting all! And I will probably be posting a lot too, though I will keep it from being overkill.

I have made sure my whole character sheet is accurate, and I swapped my skill point in swim for one in local, as it seems to fit Krular's search for knowledge.

"Seems easy enough, though I am trying to think of what I know of the regions we will be traveling through. I wonder what this little fellow has in these wagons of his."

Krular recalls what he knows of the Pilgrimage Road, Fort Steel Heart and the Steel Lands.
