I'd like to tip the hat to allow LE based characters into PFS 2.0.

It's worked in other Living Campaigns, and I believe we have the play base to be able to handle what is, and isnt appropriate for public games.

Thoughts?

Hi folks.
We're putting together a great convention for our local Pathfinders here in Michigan!

We will have our Warhorn up and going in a bit, both to judge and play!

This will be our first convention with Flat Land Games, and we're hoping to make it an awesome one.

Below is our tentative schedule, as well as the address of Flat Lands, in case people from out of town want to come by!

There is a hotel within walking distance of the store, and tons of food options!

The schedule may change to add more, but I think we have an awesome lineup scheduled so far!

Gen Con is around three weeks away any idea when the new guide will drop in case changes need to be made to characters?

So, some will think this is a troll, but it is not.
With some of the recent rulings coming out, restricting things that have been a part of the campaign since inception, how long will it be until Asmodeus is put on the banned list?

I'm being very practical here, and want legitimate discussion, so please if you do reply, stay on topic. One of my arguments is simply that as Society continues, it reduces the amount of semi evil things allowed, and has taken the society from more of an ambiguous group of essentially grave robbers, to essentially heroes for hire.

If the intent is to become a solidly good campaign with no moral quandaries, and remove as much gray (or black) as possible, I understand, and would applaud the staff for choosing to go that way, even if it deviates from what drew at least myself into PFS.

Thanks, and I hope to see a lot of different responses that will hopefully illustrate both effective sides of this potential discussion.

Hey, I'm putting together my April schedule, and I'm curious what the average run time for this mod is looking like? Should I schedule a 5 or 8 - 10 hour block for this?

I've got a serpentine Sorcerer that will be 16 in a while.
This will let me get access to scaled soul, the 20th level ability bloodline power. (I have a robe that gives me +4 levels in my bloodline)
I'm thinking I will be turning into a snake swarm, as it doesn't say I can't. Thoughts? Feedback? This sounds a bit too cheasy even for me, but eh, snakes on a plane?

Scaled Soul (Su): At 20th level, you gain the shapechanger subtype, and you can assume the form of a reptilian humanoid (as alter self ) or snake of Diminutive to Huge size (as beast shape III) at will. You retain the power of speech and the ability to use somatic spell components when transformed. You also become immune to poison and paralysis. You may use serpent’s fang as often as desired, and you may choose to inflict damage to any ability score.

I have talked with my constituency, and they after becoming amalgamations of Cybamen and Darlicks (Trademarks people) have come to one insect like brain response. That response would be "Yes!, Yes!,Yes!" Those that shouted for brains or the flesh of the living were quickly dismantled and ressambled into more agreeable units.

So, I like turning my familiar into a death dealing critter, so as my PFS sorcerer has just hit 12, I have access to a new sixth level spell.

So onto my munchkin abilities. I'm looking at shadow projecting my familiar into a medium shadow, and during combat, I'd buff him with lash of the Astradaemon.

So What I'm looking at is two claw attacks that deal a negative level, as well as a d6 strength damage.

What say ye the public?
(A haste would go out after that giving three attacks a round but I digress)

I'd just like to throw out that I would totally subscribe, and or purchase bundle packages of PDF's, say 3 for 24.99 / 27.99 and or subscribe to a pdf service every month if it meant 8.99 pdf's versus 9.99 pdf's.
This I think would also be a warm welcome by those who play Society.

I'll continue to slowly purchase as I can, but I know if there where bundle packages, I would buy in greater allotments.

So, a black blade magus at level 3 gains the ability to ignore the broken condition so long as he has 1 point in his arcane pool.
My question is, how is this affected by hardness, and sundering attempts?
If I attempt to sunder an adamantine weapon with my black blade, does it mean that my BB beats the hardness of 20 ignoring it to deal damage to the weapon?
Or on the other hand, does the adamantine weapon do damage to my black blade and then when it gains broken, it just falls asleep?

I have on my person, a boon that allows me to send out a scouting force in lieu of a day job, this netting me a reward of x, xx, or xxx for 2,4,6 points.
If I use this once, is this repeatable should I not use the second half of said boon? I understand it fully now, more so than earlier today, which lead to some confusion, but any clarification for it's continued use would be delightful.

So Dj's Michicon has come and gone, and with it, I'm pretty sure she got 21 tables off, from when I was there, for the two slots on Saturday, I ran two tables, and it looked like there were 4 tables per round, with five tables going off Saturday night for 21 tables altogether.
Sad we couldn't get any support, but Michicon offered prize support through door prizes, and table prizes.

So, a curious question has arisen, while I have been sitting at work.
I have a character in PFS, that started out as Sel. As Sel has progressed, his name has progressed, and now that he is at 7th level, his name is Selketith. When he advances to 8th level, his name will change once again, to something new, I'm looking at (I had thought of using Sels, for the start of self, but I digress for why.)
Will this be a problem with record sheets?

So, I have a a flame oracle, that will be potentially dipping in PFS, into a level of Sorcerer. I'm looking at a cross-blooded Draconic / Orc Bloodline.
If this works, for fire the way it should be, where the Draconic gives me a +1 to all fire damage based spells, and Orc gives me +1 to all damage based spells, It'd be fun stacking.

Thoughts?

I was wondering which book do I need to find the multiple prestige awards? Like land etc.

So, I recently was running a game, in which I had a succubus to play around with, and one of the characters ran up and grappled her.
On her turn I stated. Okay, we are grappled. We both have the grappled condition, with you being the grappler, so I um. Level drain you.

As it states, a succubus must be in a grapple to perform her Kiss / drain. Am I in the wrong for level draining the grappler who had me held up?

Say you have a shadow familiar. (from Shadow projection) and you share touch of calification with said familiar and send him off into the world, as a multi round spell, does it fizzle the next time the master casts a spell?

So, I had attempted to play something on Saturday evenings slot, and there was a lack of judges, and 6 players and myself around. So I asked what everyone wanted to play, went up to HQ and voulenteered, as I'd been running for another company that entire weekend.

I got everything seated and played, and was told that voulenteering was worth a 10$ store credit, is this the case, and if so, at about what time will that become available, so I can use it to buy a pdf I've been oogling. ^_^ (Free stuff and all that!)

If that isnt the case, than I can still buy the pdf, it's mostly a case of wanting to verify if what was said was true. Either way I'm glad to have been able to help some generics get a chance to be killed in God's Market Gamble.

If I have a shadow capable of making multiple attacks, say claw claw bite, do all attacks effectively damage strength?
The idea I have is to turn my familiar into a golden gorger, then turn him into a shadow. One is a polymorph, one is not. So effectively the spells can work together, as it is, my familiar has 3 attacks claw claw bite to begin with.

Would all the attacks as a shadow do strength damage or just one?

Dont know where to post this one, so just asking here, haven't seen Paizo on Origins list, but figured I'd ask to see if there was going to be a booth for me to spend some money at. ^_^

So, the gaming group I play with, decided to put factions into a hat, and whichever faction was pulled, would be what the new characters we would make would belong to.
The Cheliax faction was pulled, and so the group delved ahead with what I like to call "Operation Sith."

The ideal build for the five of us will be idealistically the same. We each will take one level of Oracle, for the Bones mystery, our curse would be tongues celestial. After that we will multi-class into separatist clerics of Asmodeous. The main Domain would be Fire, the separatist domain would be Scalykind: Saurion.
This being because Asmodeous is having a revival based around Undeadish Clerics with Dinosaurs.

Basic idea is Humans, with the breakdown below
Level as follows
1: Bone Oracle: 1st Feat Shield Wall: 2nd Feat Imp Channel
2: Separatist Cleric of Asmodeous
7: Boon Companion for big Dinosaurs!

Would a Bone Oracle 1 multi-classing into a Cleric of Asmodeous lose their Oracle powers? I cant find a place where they would, but just asking.

If for example, you have a creature with 6 arms, and 6 double barrel pistols, with rapid shot, and say a bab of 7 or higher, how many total rounds can you fire off with a full round attack?
6? or 12? Just curious.

Topic says it all, and I've been looking but cant find any answers.

As Gama seems to be imploding, can anyone with Paizo list the events that Paizo plans to run at Origins Game Fair 2012? I'd like to try and make a schedule with some friends to do PFS adventures at Origins, and as it seems like it's going to be a generic only mess / rush, I'd like to try and see what I can get in to play.

I'm just getting into PFS play, as a Serpentine Sorcerer, and am wanting to check an idea my current sorcerer concept.
Since I hit 8th level, as a human sorcerer, I've taken the ability to add lower level spells to my book, and recently took "Toxic Gift"
My idea is to cast an extended Delay Poison, Duration of 1h per level. So 16hours, and then inject myself with my con drain poison, (due to my robes, my poison is a d4 con damage 6 rounds, immediate onset).

I'm effectively than poisoned (to my knowledge), with the results happening at the end of the Delay Poison, (which I then in 16 hours recast as an extended again). I believe this qualifies for Toxic Gift, that I be poisoned, and then as it uses my spell DC versus my DC, and my familiar can deliver it (Serpentine get a viper familiar with a +9 touch attack, and I cast shield and mage armor to give him a 27/28ac)

I know its a manipulation with the rules, and that I am running a very thin line, should I be dispelled, but can anyone see any holes in the strategy, or is this against the raw? Just curious about how this build has gone.

Will there be any PFS available pregame, also, will registration take place on the Origins game site, or is there a warhorn etc needed to sign up for? This will be my first year doing PFS at Origins and I'd like to get tickets and be ready to go.
