Korug follows the others, polearm gripped tightly and ready for whoever or whatever may be coming. He tried to keep the others behind him so as best to protect them, as they instruct him where to run.

Korug stays mostly quiet as they enter the next room, not knowing too much about maps or historical parchments. He wanders back outside the door, keeping a grip on his weapon and his eyes peeled for anything sneaking up behind them.

After slaughtering the imp like creature, Korug takes a moment to catch his breath before wiping off the end of his blade rather sheepishly. "Ughh sorry about that. Those little things really annoyed me." Once it's clean, he pulls out a wand looking like a red twisted root and uses it to slowly cleanse his wounds.
Infernal healing, back at full health.

Frustrated with his previous poor attempt to end the creature, he focuses a moment before once again swinging his blade, hoping that the eidolon is distracted enough by Dumm to get a perfect opening.

Just to clarify, that last attack against Korug would have missed because he went total defense and AC was 21.
With the devil like creatures now exposed, Korug moves in and uses his long polearm to swat at the last remaining creature, but almost loses his grip.

Korug grips his polearm tightly, and rushes into the room towards to imps, ready to protect the others as needed. As he does, the runes and tattoos on his body once again begin to glow white. He stands at the ready and taunts the demonic creatures to attack him. "Bring it on evil demons, I dare you to approach my friends!"

As the others continue to peruse through the books, Korug shakes his head at Kalangkang's offer. "Not me, I'll be ok. I will take that weapon oil though, that could come in handy."

After the oozes are ended, Korug takes a moment to catch his breath as he calms down and the glowing marks on his body begin to fade. He sheepishliy looks around at the others. "Uhhh, sorry abou that. I still don't know what happens sometimes. I just....snap and these marks seem to take control. I've never hurt any other Pathfinders though..."
He follows the others through the watery passage, avoiding eye contact and trying not to bring attention to himself. He flips through a couple of the tomes they find, and though he doesn't fully understand what it all means, he's horrified at the ideas within.

As soon as the the blobs make their way into the room, Korug's scars and tattoos all over his body begin to glow bright white, as if on fire. His presences seems to shift and his outline is hazy as he brings his polearm down on the first creature.

Korug is on the verge of bashing down the doorway when Fade mentions the sounds of moaning and chains. "Was a slave of sorts once myself. No way to live and others shouldn't suffer that way. Just not right, and especially not in this place." His usual calm and bashful demeanor is gone and the half-orc's words burn with passion.

As Valais begins to relax and calm down a bit, Korug takes the opportunity to walk over to the bubbling vats and try to peer into them. He uses one hand to try and wipe away some of the fog on the vat, while he clutches his weapons tightly with the other.

Sorry for the delay, had a very busy weekend with the family.
As they come across Valais and ask their questions, Korug mostly keeps to himself, afraid that if he draws attention to himself, the others may start asking their own questions about his strange markings. He tries not to make it too obvious, but he finds himself constantly staring at the odd creature, wondering how she came to be in such a state.
As they enter the maze, Korug draws his polearm and keep it at the ready, should any danger come near. He stays near the front of the party in able to best protect the others.

It sounds like this will be a dungeon crawl of sorts. For simplicity sake, I suggest we agree to explore in a clockwise fashion when we reach any intersections, just to help the GM move us along as needed.

Korug looks around at the others nervously as they talk in some foreign tongue, assuming they're talking behind his back about his odd tattoos and scars.

A shy half-orc joins the group, obviously still groggy and not fully awake, and his eyes nervously shift between the other Pathfinders gathered, as he fidgets uncomfortably. While it's obvious that he is half-orc, his features are much more human like than orc. And while he would be considered large for a human, he is fairly small compared to his orc brethren. He wears a worn breastplate that seems too small for his body, clearly made for a man of normal size. But his most striking features are the numerous tattoos and ritualistic scars that cover his body anywhere you can see exposed skin.
Korug looks down at the floor when he talks with the others "Hi, uhhm, I'm Korug. Soooo, what do we do if we find him? Bring him in or kill him? I don't like killing much, but sometimes I just lose control and it happens..." He looks up at the others sheepishly, assuming they're judging him for his past misdeeds. "So what kind of wards were there? Like magic stuff, or monsters? Sounds like probably some demons."

As the others discuss what to do with the dead and dying, Korug sinply wipes his blade clean and brushes off his armor. "Ehh, doesn't matter to me what you do with them, let's just figure it out and move below though. I could use a stiff drink."
Below deck, he puts his ear to the door to try to determine what's inside. "Could be slaves, or other pirates. Or it could be something worse. Best to be ready just in case." He grips his weapon tightly as Torrel goes to work on the locks.

With his shield spell up, Korug's AC is 20 while raging, so I think that attack would have missed. I put it in the stat block.
"Doomed?? HAH! Yes, yes, you are." he rushes forward towards the nearest pirate, bringing his polearm down with all of his strength.

As the others spin their lie, Korug gets the rowboat as close as he can, before dropping the oars and drawing his polearm. He leaps at the side of the ship and the exposed markings begin to glow again. He latches on to the side of the ship and clambers aboard.
