Congratulations to the new 5-star GMs, especially Chris Murphy from Mattoon Illinois USA!

Thanks, Gregg! I appreciate it.

I've both run and played this scenario (both with Disciple of the Void above), and I greatly enjoyed both, even though I was one of the PCs that took 165 damage and died.
While I don't recommend this for a con, it's a great scenario. It has a very interesting and satisfying story, and feels every bit as epic as the culmination of a faction's story should.
That being said, its incredibly difficult on both sides of the screen. Personally, I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing. Some of the mechanics are different, and may run counter to what we have come to expect. For me, that's a feature, not a bug. I like when experienced players are thrown for a loop and can't just assume how things will play out.

Thanks! I didn't realize it was a regional thing; I just thought it was a detail I had missed somewhere.

I have a question regarding event tracking (sorry if it has already been asked and answered).
My group has game days every Saturday, so I just use a reoccurring event. We are going to start alternating between Pathfinder and Starfinder. Will the Starfinder games have to be registered as a separate event? We are in the RSP, so my assumption is that they would be separate. Is that how others have been recording it?

Some 3rd-level spells were changed because there are some new spells in the Inner Sea Monster Codex that some GMs may not have access to. But yeah, otherwise, Alimnekk's list is identical to that of a normal Prophet of Baphomet.

Thanks!

I'm looking forward to running this. I particularly like the mix of combat and non combat encounters. It really seems like there are a lot of opportunities for role playing and problem solving. Well done!

Ooh! I know this one. Those replace the spells from the normal Prophet of Baphomet stat block from the Inner Sea Monster Codex. They are listed there in case you pull up the Inner Sea Monster Codex to use the statblock, you noted the changed 3rd level spells. The statblock in the appendix has the fix for you, so you don't need to worry about it if you're just reading it from the back.

Ah, gotcha. Yep, that's what I was comparing the spell list to. Thanks!

In encounter K2, are the spells listed under High Priestess Alimnekk (only her 3rd level) intended to be the only spells that she uses during that encounter, or would she have access to the full spell list under the Labyrinth Guardian stat block?

Hello guys,

I want a piece of advice from fellow GMs.

Now in the confirmation, there's this cave with skeletons.
The party went KO against them.

I'm wondering this since skeletons are mindless, and would lack the intellect to go CDG, and lack the munchies zombies have.
3 out of 4 stabilized, 1 bled to death while the fighting happened.

With 3 KO yet stable, would it be plausible to wake up, and roll bluff checks, so they can split, or is this just a case of team KO = TPK?

Especially for low level games, I always try to err on the side of fun. What would your players think is fun? If it's a better story and more fun for everyone to have the PCs wake up and sneak away to rally, go for it.

With a higher level game and more experienced players, I may go a different route. But newish players (just assuming since you are running the Confirmation) may not come back to play if everyone dies in their first game.

For the longest time, our group left it completely up to the players to fill in everything except for the rewards. Though at the time, it seemed like it saved time, I have found that (from an organizer's perspective) it actually caused a lot of headaches. Players weren't correctly tracking gold and purchases, which led to a lot of little accounting errors.
To correct that (and to start going by the rules), I've encouraged my GMs to record a PCs ending gold on the new chronicle sheet. Between session purchases are fine, we just treat them as if they were acquired at the beginning of the current session. The players keep track of the gold they spend in that session (as well as "in between"), and the GM records all of that as the gold spent. It really take that much more time to fill out the paperwork, and (if consistent) should make bookkeeping much easier for everyone involved.

Yes, it is! You should be able to let the cashier know and they'll be able to get that set up. Just let me know if there are any further questions or concerns. Thanks!

Great, thank you!

Haha, I see. Sorry about that.

Thanks Andrew. I actually pulled a few punches with this encounter, but the constrict damage was correct. That is a brutal encounter.
And to save a bit of face here, I want to clarify by saying that I did not tell this player he could not be brought back during the adventure.

Hey everyone, I'm that GM. The original post is a bit of an edited version of the events. I would prefer not to argue any points here, but if Alison (my VC) wants to look into the issue, I will absolutely go with whatever she decides.

Unfortunately, we are somewhat limited by the shop's hours. We try to wrap up by 9 or so.

Strange question, I apologize if it has been addressed somewhere else. When a Tome Eater Occultist eats a book, do they absorb the knowledge, effectively "reading" it? Thematically, I think it fits, and would house rule that for my personal game. But I'm looking at a Pathfinder Society character, and want to make sure that I play it correctly.
