"I studied. I know where to place my hands. I have mastery over anatomy of the living because the living body transitions to the duat, the realm of the dead, and it is my sacred duty to oversee the welfare of the living so that they can make that transition whole and ready to face the afterlife." Kemat seems quite serious. Kinda the way clerics get about their religious stuff.

Kemat moves to Alexa and says, "Give me a moment." Her hands move deftly over the rogue, rapidly identifying pain points and soothing them with salves, bandages, and pressure points. Heal: Treat Deadly Wounds, specialized healer's satchel: 1d20 + 12 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 12 + 2 = 23 Heals 39 damage.

Kemat treats Uriel's injuries with amazing alacrity. Heal: Treat Deadly Wounds, specialized healer's satchel: 1d20 + 12 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 12 + 2 = 31 Healer's Hands + Incredible Healer: Heals 41 points of damage.

What's our current disposition of hit points look like, folks? Just making sure everyone's stat bar is correct. The map shows Uriel as being almost half down, for instance, but his stat line says 87/87.

Kemat moves to aid Alexa, confident that her defensive magics keep her safe even in the midst of the melee. Cure light wounds: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10

I can't tell who's who on the map, so my agenda is just to deploy healing as needed/possible. I don't take AoOs for casting healing spells, so if I need to stay in one spot (or make a 5' step) and cast, that's doable. If there are no injured party members reachable, then total defense.

Sorry for the delay, I was away on vacation. Shielded by the magic circle that prohibits the outsiders from physically touching her, Kemat moves to aid Alexa. Cure serious wounds, blessed touch trait: 3d8 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (5, 2, 2) + 7 + 1 = 17

Kemat remains in a defensive position, not yet willing to obviate the protection of her magic circle and waiting to deploy healing magic as needed. Total defense.

Not wanting to obviate the power of her magic circle against evil, Kemat casts a prayer spell with the hopes of aiding the team. If that would impinge on the magic circle due to its debuff effect, then bless instead.

Knowing that extraplanar entities can't physically touch or mentally control someone under divine protection, Kemat throws down a magic circle against evil.

Kemat moves to assist Darya in her fighting. From behind she somehow manages to attend to the paladin's wounds in a way that reinvigorates her with a moment's touch. Heal, specialized healer's satchel: 1d20 + 12 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 12 + 4 = 26 Using Healer's Hands feat causes this application of Treat Deadly Wounds to take only a full round action. Incredible Healer feat causes it to heal damage equal to the Heal check, so Darya is healed 26 hit points.

If it's necessary to move forward, might as well do it. We can always get knock scrolls or something later if we think we will need future openings.

"I will do what I can to revitalize those who survived. Those who were slain... are beyond my calling," says Kemat gravely. "With the aid of my healing implements I can stabilize the sorely wounded, and I can return some from the brink of death, especially if the injured but still living are in a triage tent where I can call Aset's power over all of them at once." "Time, though, is our greatest enemy."

So far I don't think anyone has suggested anything different or additional for me to cast—I don't have access to invisibility or, as far as I know, anything else that will aid us in covering our approach in a way that doesn't also obscure our own vision.

In such means one could run from one tower to the other, with the air in the intervening space functioning as walkable ground."

"If I can get close enough, I can use an enchantment to warp wood and make the catapults unusable," says Kemat. "The advantage is that if we repulse the attackers and are able to seize the catapults, I can then undo the magic so that our own side can use them."
