The more informations we get on this dragon, the more prepared to fight it we can be. We will need powerful armors and weapons, and we will need to trust each other, to learn to fight as a team. What do WE know, currently, about dragons?

Maybe that staff might be the lever to tip us back into faith, the crowbar to open humanity's souls to the gods, who knows? Whatever it might be, it was enough to put a whole army of vile creatures on the edge, looking and asking for it. Even if its not a mystical magical object, it might be a symbol, something to believe in. Goldmoon, do you mind if I cast a simple spell to determinate if the staff you hold is magic or not? It might be a first step.

My name is Kellandra. I am a traveler, a wanderer, a bit like yourself. I know and understand new faces, new places, can be a little frightening. And I know how long the road can be. So please take a warm meal, and a few drinks. A gift, from a wanderer to fellow wanderers. Kellandra asks the servant to come bac for her guests to order more food. I've been with a larger group than you. The roads aren't secure. I truly hope you haven't seen too much troubles on your own. To be honest, an hour or so before we arrived here, we have been questioned by a small troup of goblins. I guess you were more fortunate, or more discreet than us.

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (9) + 12 = 21
Come, weary travelers, have a seat, a drink and a meal on me. With or without the gods to guide us, we can till be decent folks. Kellandra smiles and pats the seat near her

Hearing the "the gods have abandoned us" speech-once again-Kellandra tries to defuse the situation before arguments give way to a fist fight. Or worse. She personnally wouldn't like to get a knuckle sandwich from the big minotaur guy. Personal note: don't get in a beef with a minotaur. Hehe. To each his own opinion. If the gods wanted to come back, who I am to stop them? I'm a mere mortal, and they are gods. At least, if they came back knocking on my door, metaphrically speaking, I would listen to their side of a story, as if they were an old friend with whom I had a falling out years ago, and who would like to rekindle the relationship. Then I would make my choice. But now, to dinner, I'm hungry.

Kellandra orders to the servant some ale too, please, "whatever's roasting on the spit", as my fellow traveler said, the scent is mouth watering, and bread. And some roasted potatoes too. The roads made me hungry. While we are waiting, would your boss mind if I play some music and sing? We can always make room in our hearts and souls for more beauty

They are numerous, and vicious, treacherous foes. So they are mostly used as foot soldiers, where they hope to overrun their opponents, and that the fatal blow will fall on the next goblin, not theirs. Not that much different that any human army, when you think about it. Kellandra thinks a little, then says That big, fat goblin leader was a little more cunning that I expected. I tried to get some information out of his mouth, but he wasn't as gullible as I thought. She turns to Varis and adds

disguise: 1d20 + 8 + 10 - 2 ⇒ (6) + 8 + 10 - 2 = 22 GM:
Kellandra will do her best to pass for human (disguise for another race-2, pass for human feat +10), as elf can be more easily recognized, and she feels more at ease with her human side than her elf side anyway As she speaks goblin, Kellandra listens and translate. The Inn of the Last Home might have to wait a little. She readies an arrow on her bow with years of practice. She's a tall woman, six feet, and well muscled, with dark long hair currently free, and grey eyes. She usually wears casual, loose clothes, but on the road a light chain shirt covers her upper body, and a long, curved blade rests on her side.

Equipment is done and I switched a trait (Seeker, which helped for Perception, already a class skill as a Bard, for Criminal, whitch gives me access to Disable Device, can be handy if we don't have a Rogue) |
