Is there any online fund we could donate too as a way to help?

Hi have checked on google and the following link from "Beasts of War", states that "Donations can be made directly to goblinaid@fenrisgames.com"

Just dreaming, but, what if Paizo push the boat out, and -

2013 :- we get a 6th Printing with errata, (i.e. Stealth, Grapple etc), now that would be great.

2014 :- On the anniversary of Pathfinder 1st print run, we get a Leather Bound copy printed on Premium Paper - Not that would be something!

Or at least a copy, with a 1 off new cover, to celebrate.

Hi all,

For any of us that bought figures from the likes of Citadel/Games Workshop, (and others), and especially Orc's or Goblins, there was a good chance the sculptor was Kevin Adams.

However he was recently, robbed in his home, stabbed and beaten to a pulp. See the link from Graeme Davis website.

There is also facebook page Goblinaid where a lot of the RPG/Wargame community have got together.

I do not know Kevin, but I have over the years, bought figures that he has sculpted.

Our hobby has many, great human beings, and looking at the Facebook site, many of them have already shown their support.

Player Character Folio

Have just noticed that Grappling, still has the following "The defender loses any Dex bonus to AC", Under Armor Class Modifiers,(Folio Page 18).

This I believe, is no longer used for Grappling.

The Folio print date is newer,(Aug 2012), however the Core Rulebook (Nov 2011), has the correct version on P195. And for Grappling "The defender loses any Dex bonus to AC" is no longer relevant.

Cristian,

Many many thanks,

Happy Christmas to you, and to all of the Pathfinder community. :)

Hi Klaus van der Kroft,

Most generous, and a very festive gesture, a $25 giftcode would help pay the postage from the New World to the Old. I could finally purchase books rather than PDF's!

Merry Christmas, (or Merry Festive Break what ever your beliefs!) :)

Never heard of it. care to provide a link?

Hi LazarX,

SORD Reference guide (rev 1.3) - Is a great document, that puts a lot of the tables and info into a few handy referenced pages. Great to print off, to take to the pub, club or friends house for the RPG session.

Snorter - thanks for the reply with the link (beat me to it!).

Kthulhu - Thanks for the info, I will continue to use SORD, it's great document to find info quickly.

SORD Reference guide (rev 1.3)

I was wondering, with the latest printing of the Pathfinder Core Rulebook, is the SORD Reference Guide still up to date?

Also does anyone know of any typo's/errors found in version 1.3 of SORD?

A house rule IS a solution. It's often the BEST solution, since the game plays differently in different regions for different groups.

I agree, with one exception: if everyone has to house-rule it for it to work, then it really should have been fixed at source.

Hey, my natural midwestern accent-less-ness takes exception to that!
Excuse me, but as an American you have an accent. I, on the other hand, speak English like a native and therefore without an accent.

Everyone has an accent, even the Queen of Scotland, Elizabeth or Betty has an accent and I bet she speaks awfi gud inglish!

Right,

I understand - wow makes sense, my brain was starting to hurt. I had read the sentence over and over. :(

Wish I had used the messageboards quicker!

Thanks all

P150 of the Core Rulebook - Armor - Maximum Dex Bonus

If I have Half Plate my Max Dex Bonus is +0. This seems clear enough so
what does this paragraph mean -

"Even if a character's Dex bonus to Armor Class drops to 0 because of armor, this situation does not count as losing his Dex bonus to Armor Class."

We played Melee & Wizard from a company called "Metagaming" Another system that fell in to the darkness.

Those were the days.

No internet, no mail order, and all your purchases via your local shop (or shops!).

Alright Guys and Girls, we all have our views and a lot of them are polarised.

However can we all agree on one thing -

Pazio , TSR (and then WOTC), GDW, Chaosium, SJG, etc. etc. - have all helped create this hobby, our hobby. Some have fallen into the darkness, but their memories remain.

They have given us wonderful adventures, great memories and hopefully new friends.

And for that I will be always thankful.

4th brought new members into our world, some stayed some left, (and they may even have moved on to Pathfinder).

I hope 5th does well. I hope that all the other RPG companies do well, (roll on Pazio’s 50th birthday!)

We need them all , for the future and for the gamers that will come after us, and may they continue to have as much fun.

So yes have your views and keep them civil, and if someone plays a game from another company, well just be glad that he/she is a fellow gamer, (and ask them to take part in your next Pathfinder game!).

Hi Sean,

Is there an updated list of errata for the Beginner box.

Just have to add - brilliant product, probably the best boxed set yet, to introduce players to the hobby.

Just Downloaded the software, and I must say what an excellent product - and free as well!

And when, (or if!), the players move to the full core rules this should bring in some revenue.

Has it been updated with the latest amendments?

Hi, is there an updated errata for the Beginner Box?

I Have had an update from Amazon UK -

Estimated delivery of the Boxed set is 16/12/2011.

So I should have the books by Christmas!

Does anyone else have a longer wait!

1. Amazon doesn't take the products directly from Paizo, they take it from the distributor (Alliance). Paizo is too small a company to deal with Amazon directly, so it has to be so...

2. Amazon is NOTORIOUSLY craptastic with RPG book releases. Shifted dates, underestimated demand, holding sales for 2 weeks because somebody e-mailed them that he's missing 2 pages in the book... Exercise in frustration.

Diamond Books distributes our items to Amazon, actually. But the concept is the same.

Hi, still think Pazio should chase this up, as there is still no sign of the "Beginner Box" if you search Amazon UK. You may miss out on sales!

Yes, I have the same issue with Amazon UK at the moment.

I'm still hopeful of getting my copy next month.

Dispatch Estimate: 8 Nov 2011
Delivery Estimate: 11 Nov 2011 - 14 Nov 2011

Will the PDF version come with a PDF of the flip mat or is it just the books?

Have had an email from Amazon UK and they have a copy allocated for me from the publisher, so thats good news.

However I still cannot see the Beginner Box if you do a search in Amazon UK, so there may be a problem for anyone wanting to order one.

May be an idea if Pazio contacts Amazon to see what the problem is.

Hi,

I have had the boxed set on order from Amazon UK since July and I am looking forward to the delivery.

However I have just checked for an update, and I cannot find the product. Even my order goes to a "The Web address you entered is not a functioning page on our site".

Anyone else got a similar problem with Amazon UK?
