Spontaneous Summoning - Kaleelah can channel stored spell energy into summoning spells that she hasn't prepared ahead of time. She can “lose” a prepared spell in order to cast any summon nature's ally spell of the same level or lower.

Natural Bond (Ex) - Feather Domain

Nature Sense (Ex) - Kaleelah gains a +2 bonus on Knowledge (nature) and Survival checks.

Wild Empathy (Ex) – Kaleelah can improve the attitude of an animal. This ability functions just like a Diplomacy check made to improve the attitude of a person. The druid rolls 1d20 and adds her druid level and Charisma modifier to determine the wild empathy check result.

The typical domestic animal has a starting attitude of indifferent, while wild animals are usually unfriendly.

To use wild empathy, Kaleelah and the animal must be able to study each other, which means that they must be within 30 feet of one another under normal conditions. Generally, influencing an animal in this way takes 1 minute but, as with influencing people, it might take more or less time.
Kaleelah can also use this ability to influence a magical beast with an Intelligence score of 1 or 2, but she takes a –4 penalty on the check

As a lion shaman, Kaleelah can use wild empathy with felines as a full-round action with a +4 bonus.

Woodland Stride (Ex) - Starting at 2nd level, Kaleelah may move through any sort of undergrowth (such as natural thorns, briars, overgrown areas, and similar terrain) at her normal speed and without taking damage or suffering any other impairment. Thorns, briars, and overgrown areas that have been magically manipulated to impede motion, however, still affect her.

Eyes of the Hawk (Ex) - At 2nd Level, Kaleelah gains a racial bonus on Perception checks equal to 1/2 her druid level (minimum +1). In addition, if she can act during a surprise round, Kaleelah receives a +2 racial bonus on her Initiative check.

Totem Transformation (Su) - At 2nd level, Kaleelah may adopt an aspect of the lion while retaining her normal form. This ability functions as the bear shaman ability, but she may select from the following bonuses:

-Movement (+20 enhancement bonus to land speed)
-Senses (low-light vision, scent)
-Natural Weapons (bite [1d4], 2 claws [1d4] for a Medium druid, rake, +2 CMB to grapple).

While using totem transformation, Kaleelah may speak normally and can cast speak with animals (felines only) at will.

Trackless Step (Ex) - Starting at 3rd level, Kaleelah leaves no trail in natural surroundings and cannot be tracked. She may choose to leave a trail if so desired.

Resist Nature's Lure (Ex) - Starting at 4th level, Kaleelah gains a +4 bonus on saving throws against the spell-like and supernatural abilities of fey. This bonus also applies to spells and effects that target plants, such as blight, entangle, spike growth, and warp wood.

Animal Companion (Ex) - At 4th level, Kaleelah gains the service of an animal companion. Her effective druid level for this animal companion is equal to her druid level – 3.

Totemic Summons (Su) - At 5th level, as a lion shaman, Kaleelah may cast summon nature’s ally as a standard action when summoning felines, and these summoned creatures gain temporary hit points equal to her druid level. This ability otherwise functions as the bear shaman ability. She can apply the young template to any bear to reduce the level of the summoning spell required by one. She can also increase the level of summoning required by one in order to apply either the advanced or the giant template, or increase it by two to apply both the advanced and giant templates.

Fluff:

Appearance: Kaleelah is tall, slender, and strongly built. Given how much time she spends in the sun, her smooth skin is moderately tanned. Since it tended to get in her eyes at the worst times as a child, she likes to keep her golden hair cut short, though her tendency to use her scythe for such gives it a very spiky and messy look. Kaleelah has a highly happy demeanor and generally sports a smile. Her emerald green eyes are typically bright with excitement and curiosity. In terms of clothing, she tends to prefer some sort of armor, alternating between her standard Leather Armor and her much more precious Blue Dragonhide Breastplate while covering up much of her exposed skin with bandages and various pieces of leather pads. Like many druids, she prefers walking around barefoot.

Personality: A generally kind, optimistic, and generous individual, Kaleelah functions best in some sort of a social setting: be it amongst other humanoids or animals. Altruistic by nature, she enjoys tending to the needs of others and keeping her “pride” happy and healthy. However, despite her warm exterior, it is rather obvious that is a bit (ironically) socially awkward. She is prone to miscommunication and misspeaking, and Kaleelah has a bad habit of being too giving to anyone she considers a good individual. While most of these “friends” have never taken advantage of her generosity and the druid prides herself on being a good judge of character, there are a few… conflicts in the past. She has always been highly fascinated by magic. Ever since she was a little girl, the druid has had a curious habit of playing with her orisons to keep herself entertained. She is perceptive and also surprisingly good with money for a woman who grew up in the distant wild plains. It should also be noted that Kaleelah does have a noticeable survivalist streak. For good or for ill, she tries to prepare for every possible situation and does an amazing job of hiding her emotions.

Background: Kaleelah was born into the druidic order known as the Pride of Highrock. Growing up, she has two families: her fellow druids and their pride of lions. If she had to describe her time amongst her order, it was that surprisingly nice. It wasn’t perfect, but it was still pretty good overall. Being a member of a fairly liberal druidic order, Kaleelah had no problems getting permission to journey and explore the rest of the world with the eventual goal of setting of her own branch of the Pride. At the age of nineteen, she ventured out from the warm savannahs of her ancestor lands with her lion companion Nala and into new worlds.

Her journeying with others started innocently enough. At first, it was out of necessity to some degree to ensure her own safety. After all, druids aren’t exactly the best people at disabling the traps of deep dungeons or understanding the vast wonders of the arcane arts. Moreover, her grasp on spoken language then was pretty abysmal, so somebody else was pretty off doing the fancy talking in other tongues. Heck, without the help of the noble fighter Timothy Allen Owens, Kaleelah probably wouldn’t be speaking Common properly in the present day.

For a while, everything went well. The team expanded rapidly and recruited some of the best of the best. Dungeons were conquered with relative ease, treasure and gold were abundant, and Kaleelah’s smile was never more genuine. She eventually settled into the role of nursing the group’s health and helping manage group funds. Kaleelah proved to be surprisingly good at both jobs, but she was far more proficient at the first. In a sense, she eventually developed some sort of expectation that she would always be able to keep her friends on their feet.

As such, Kaleelah still isn’t quite sure what went wrong that terrible day. Her memories of “The Incident” are extremely fuzzy at best (nonexistent at worst), and none of her friends and allies ever speak of what happened to poor Timothy (namely, the druid’s incredible incompetence and inability to heal him for once). Kaleelah remembers a Blue Dragon attack, but nobody else does. However, it had to have happened; she remembers jamming her scythe in its eye, and she never had her blue Dragonhide armor prior to that terrible trek gone horribly wrong. Moreover, she remembers uttering something as she tried to save her friend Timothy from bleeding out as everyone else ran.
