I am posting this to all of my games, so apologies if you see this multiple times:

Unfortunately, I have some bad news.

A combination of work-related stuff has lead to me having to take some time off from the forums. I am, in all honesty, going to need to be gone for several months, as I am going to be travelling for extended periods of time (weeks or more) and I'll likely not have good access to the internet.

As I am not someone who would want to have you all sit and wait for me here, I am going to be withdrawing/closing all of my open forum games.

I want to thank everyone who I have had the pleasure to game with over the last couple of years here, as I have immensely enjoyed my time on the forums, and hopefully, once my work stabilizes, I will be able to rejoin the community.

Thank you again for your time and energy, and I am sorry that I won't be able to keep things moving forward in any of the games that I am running.

Since Hendric asked in chat, I'll go with that.

Seeing that the little girls are throwing nightmare fuel, Kaldane assesses the situation and takes a look at his allies to see who the easiest to hit is. Nodding to himself, he moves over and touches Hendric, casting Deathward. Not sure if I would provoke from the girl or not, but if so, go ahead.

Assuming that Hendric is still conscious after GM Xavier's ruling, I will do the following:

Kaldane targets Red and Purple with Banishment Since you can see my character sheet Xavier, do you think I have anything that would qualify as anathema to them? If so, I would present it during the casting to increase the DC by 2/item. If not, the DC is 25

If Hendric is still down:

Kaldane will move up to Hendric's body and cast Breath of Life.

Breath of Life: 5d8 + 15 ⇒ (2, 4, 2, 3, 7) + 15 = 33

Here is my vote for mission assignments:
Front door: The Axe-Fixers seem like the best fit for where to place them (i.e. the others don't really seem to fit all that well);

Side Entrance: Scroll-Seekers. If memory serves, they likely have arcana handed, and that should help alot.

Shipping Entrance: That should be us.

Sewers: Finally, the sewers should be the Kernaug group.

Kaldane is rather subdued during the trip, considering the information that the group had learned in short order.

What, really, was Suliji's end game? How did she think that burning people in two of the largest organizations in the inner sea would benefit her?

Normally, I would change my wandering spirit, but I feel like we're going to need knowledges, so I'll leave things as they are.

I believe that I am casting 2 GMW per previous requests. Suli, did you need one as well? I'll also be giving everyone in the group Barkskin, unless anyone has a +5 enhancement bonus to natural armor. Finally, I'll cast Freedom of Movement on myself, and an extended (from my rod) Keen Edge on my sword, plus anything that people might want that is at least 10 minutes/level in duration that I have. Sorry, I thought I had made it clear. My intent was that if I wasn't able to identify the creature using knowledge planes, I wasn't going to cast banishment on it, and was instead setting the alternate to cast Prayer..

I hadn't heard of it either, until I was looking at spells for level 15.

Kaldane casts Particulate Form on everyone in the group except for Geatan, then flies down to offer Geatan a lift.

As a quick aside, I do have a necklace of adaptation, so I'm not sure if that would factor into the stench thing.

Kaldane will take a move action to resituate his equipment, then step and cast Heal on Tortuga. That should clear the stun, plus a lot of other conditions and 150 hp.

Kaldane takes to research with a relish he hasn't felt since his initiate days before his confirmation. It's interesting piecing the puzzle together, but he is sure that when the spirit leaves him, most of his zest for learning will go as well.

Kaldane makes detailed translated notes of what he discovered at Hendric's suggestion, which he then hands to Hendric.

"I agree with Nox. I think we can learn a great deal more about the current situation, but we should be prepared in case it backfires. This likely means we should only have one or two people communicate with them, and will likely mean that I should be one of them."

As he talks, Kaldane unbuckles both his sword belt and ties his spell component pouch to it. He then hands them to Hendric.

"This won't make me completely a lack of a threat, but it will limit my options if it comes to that."

It's why I have pretty much max ranks in fly; it's worth noting, however, that most fly speeds come with at least some sort of bonus to the check: winged flight has a bonus/penalty based on maneuverability, and most flight spells get a bonus equal to the caster level of the spell.

Kaldane will cast Detect Magic in the direction of the mist in an attempt to determine if it is natural or supernatural.

I'm going to have to wait at least 2 rounds in order to sort out auras, cause there's currently no way for me to move and cast it without getting one or more of my allies, all of whom (presumably) are carrying magical items).
