No problem! We'll be here when you get some time. Its kinda crazy for everyone right now. FYI, I will be on a short vacation with the family before school starts (our first year to have to consider that) from Augg 22nd to Aug 27th. I will most likely have access to a device to post, but as always when traveling you just never know.


Sorry it did indeed not update for me. I generally check when things get quiet for too long. Forgive me for the lapse.

Jorleif sees the tossed halfling that just fell and goes to warn Kitta, but everyone's words no longer make any sense to him as well as his words to them. I need to teach the language of water to one of them one day soon.

Instead of warning Kitta, he shoots the halfling.

Attack with Shortbow 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23
Damage 1d6 ⇒ 1

Confirm with Shortbow 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18
Extra Damage 2d6 ⇒ (6, 6) = 12


Not caring about the disdain for archery, Jorleif will start picking off the pirates in the rigging, aiming for any of them that could endanger the döda mördare on the other ship.

Reflex Save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17

Jorleif sees the filth coming and manages to cover his nose and mouth in time.

Jorleif smiles, "I believe giving these pirates 'aid' in their time of need is the only option here. We'll carry what is in their hold for them, while they can go on their way."


Jorleif notes Gormr's deed and vows to remian more vigilant of his actions. He returns with Torgeir


Jorleif adjusts his armor and readies his bow, "Let's check it out Kjell"


"Have one of them open it in case there is any surprises on it or in it"


Jorleif follows Kjell, ready for what must be done.

Not understanding a word these people say, he signals them to calm down and swim over to our ship once it gets closer (if its stopping) There someone else can comminicate and possibly get some info off of them.


Jorleif nods and leaps over the side landing on the water. He'll stay lightly armored for this one Ice forms beneath his feat as he takes a large circle around the boat trying to approach from a direction they are not looking. Quietly he approaches the boat or failing being quiet then running towards it over the water When he gets 15 feet to the boat he call forth a thick fog cover the boat, but of which he can see through obscuring mist. Once they are covered he'll take out who he can in the boat with his mace. The mist will only last a minute

Alarmed Jorleif listens to Gylfir, "Thank you brother for seeing that danger" I should have known what that was. No amount of studying has prepared me for this


The flowers catch Jorleif's eye why do those seem familiar to me?

Jorleif concentrates as he looks around like he is getting his bearing. Then he nods, "I can direct us to the island even if the storm overtakes us and you cannot see. I've learned to be able to walk on water, but I don't want to push my luck with a storm like that. Let's get to solid ground."

Jorlief moves up behind Kjell while tracing a rune of health

Jorleif puts away his bow and draws his axe taking a 5' step closer


Jorleif starts the action by letting loose an arrow at one of the charging dogs, all words turning to Aquan, "日本人 "

Cure light from me as well 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5


I'll leave the women to do their work. Moving on to join one of the two groups (Tavern or church whatever is closest)


Jorleif will ransack another house or if at the end join the others at the tavern


Jorleif will leave the house and move with the women and pass the house on right and go to the next one kicking the door down


Jorleif rushes to makes sure he doesn't get out of the cot

Jorleif makes for the houses, blood rushing to his head


Jorleif uses the ambient light for now, his enhances vision better than most men. Not seeing much right now, but he knows once they get closer to the town he will.

Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10

Jorleif will succumb to the feeling willing. Crestefalla are always looking for magic to use or be used by.

Jorleif walks on the water beside the boat, small discs of ice forming beneath his feet. Once they get close to shore, Jorleif signals them to put away the oars a little earlier than normal and guides the boats in by hand.

Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19

Jorleif isn't sure what the blood might mean, but he takes it as a positive sign. He pulls out the bow and makes sure he is ready, and will keep an eye out for any lookout in case he needs to call the mist and fog to cover their advance. (He'll tell Torgeir as well in case his eyes sees one first)


Jorleif keeps his eyes open for trouble and will be ready to call some mist to obscure their presence in case they need some cover.


"I agree, no need wasting our time here."


Jorleif nods, "No reason to draw any more attention to us than needed." and then he follows the others.


Let's still be ready for anything. Maybe he didn't notice who we were or maybe he was setting us up"

Before heading to shore, Jorleif dons the ancient armor found int he cairn.

Jorleif has spent all his spare moments the last few weeks studying his runes. His thoughts amd attention seem to still be deep within his studies.

Jorleif see it about the same time as Gylfir. "I see it too. Get everyone up and ready."


Jorleif grins at Sámr then replies to Njáll, "Aye Njáll. We laid to rest one who would not stay dead, claimed his armor, and discovered this." Jorleif shows Njáll the stone with the rune on it. "Dagaz. Rune of the day and laying the dead to rest. I'll need some time to study it but then I should be able to use it to aid us."


Offer the breastplate to Kitta first otherwise if no one else wants it I will wear it

Completely exhausted from the day, both from the fight, getting injured, and healing, it doesn't take long for Jorleif to lag.


I would claim the breastplate though I want to be considered last. Anyone else can have it before me.

Joreif once again traces a rune for healing over Kjell's wounds. When completed he sways a little like he will fall over, put steadies himself and with a deep breath is able to stay standing.
