Hello,

Would it be possible to put my ACG subscription on hold or cancel it, whichever is easier for you.

Assuming you will be bringing out another game in the future I want to start it up again once the character add on and adventure decks are released. I think getting the main game shipped to the UK might break the bank ;)

Thank you, and the service has been great I appreciate it.

Thank you for the information Skizzerz, I can't recall having to take multiple different damages, we do tend to win the majority of fights though. But I am certain we would of played it as you stated.

We have just finished AD5 and we had to rerun one scenario and had a very close call on another.

Close fight:
On the Villain Barnabas Harrigan the final part of his card has a line; after you act discard 1d4 Blessings from the blessing deck or 1 if you used the swashbuckling trait. We had 2 blessings left on the deck and the combat was won, with a lot of luck, we sat there for a while before rolling the d4 then the character who was fighting quickly went back through his cards and found he had used the swashbuckling trait!

Thank you for the replies.

We have been making it a lot harder for ourselves then as we were only using armour, items or anything else that specifically says it can be used before you act or after you act to reduce damage (not many in S&S) this is because we thought that was the rule when we played WotR.

We are still breezing through Skulls and Shackles though I often wonder if we are playing all the rules as intended. I'd like to believe, as in this case, if we are doing anything wrong it would only be in a way that makes things harder for us.

I am playing Damiel from the Alchemist deck though and he seems very overpowered with his recharge instead of banish skill.

Sorry if this has been covered before I have tried to do a search on a few occasions and not found a result.

If you are dealt damage before or after you act, do you need a specific armour/spell/item to reduce the damage e.g. one that specifically says reduce damage taken before you act.

Or

Is it that armour that says you can reduce damage before you act can only be used before you act and regular armour that says reduce damage can be used anytime you take damage, before you act after combat, after you act.

sorry I don't have any examples I do not have my set with me at the moment.

So there are a few mistakes in that section.

Drelm doesn't have the skill as described.
In the example the barrier Collapsing Scaffolding is assumed to have the trigger trait when it doesn't.

Thanks Hawkmoon appreciate your help. I am reading through the rules now expect more questions ;)

Thank you for the reply that makes perfect sense I checked the barrier and it doesn't have the trigger trait so that is why I was confused but I see how the example would work with the trigger trait. Assuming he examined then explored (no trigger trait) then evaded the barrier to get another explore he would hen get his 2 explores, correct?

I really don't understand this section of the rule book I have played rise of the runelords and wrath of the righteous and this example just doesn't seem right. For a start the skill Drelm has in the example doesn't match his role card but ignoring that, if you gain another exploration after using a blessing to explore why would you not be allowed to take it?

Excellent, thank you both for the help.

A few questions came up during our last game I was wondering if anyone could help.

Mastiff - Ally

"Display this card to draw 2 cards. At the end of the turn, discard this card."

"Discard this card to explore your location."

Can you discard this card while it is displayed to explore your location?

Barbarian Horde - Henchman

"Before you attempt a combat check to defeat, randomly choose 2 characters. Each must expend a mythic charge or be dealt 1d4 Ranged combat damage."

Can you choose to take the Ranged combat damage even if you have mythic charges you could expend? Is it "take this OR this" or "take this IF YOU CAN'T this"

Thank you for the hours of fun and for any assistance.

Thanks for the reply. I have to disagree if you see a light colour card next on the deck you know for a fact it's not the villian, henchman or a monster this takes away from the gameplay immensely. Thanks anyway.

When Rise of the Runlords Adventure card game was released I purchased the first printing. I recently bought Wrath of the Righteous ACG and some of the class decks. As you are aware the card colours were changed when you moved printing from China to the US so I am unable to use my class decks with my original Rise of the runelords ACG. I forgot all about the differences in colour until I went to use the class decks which means I would have to spend a fortune on card sleeves. Is there any option to swap my set for a set printed with the correct colours. I have a picture at http://www.i82.co.uk/cards1.jpg showing the differences.

Thank you for reading.

There is only one printing. What you are probably seeing is the real box and the "artist mockups" that were shown when the products were first announced. If you look at the products on Paioz's site, you will probably see these comments in the product discussion:

Example 1
Example 2

So there are probably websites still using the original artist mockup for the product image. The ones you see on Paizo's site are the final, real look of the boxes. The other ones were never actually produced, they were just placeholders until the box look was finalized.

Thanks for taking the time to reply, that's a big help cheers.

I have recently finished buying and finished playing the original adventure card game and was thinking of getting Skulls and Shackles. I have noticed two different box colours on different sites, one is all yellow and one is yellow and blue, for the same set of cards. Are these first and second print? I can give you some example links if you need them.

If there are first and second print versions were they all done in the same country/on the same printer etc. Trying to match up colours on the first set was a nightmare.

Thanks for your help.

Thanks for your help I have replied to your email hopefully you got it, I have a feeling it might be caught in your spam filter.

So I have all of the adventure decks 1st printing apart from deck 5 which is the second printing and a lot lighter than all my other cards. This has made the game unplayable I've tried sending them back for a replacement but got the same set. I have tried emailing you twice but had no replies. It seems like i've wasted my money I have an incomplete game. To see what I mean I have uploaded a picture www.i82.co.uk/cards1.jpg is there anything that can be done I don't want to sleeve my cards.
