Paizo Employee Director of Licensing

Hi Everybody,

Messaging is finally out. As always, my apologies for how long this took to bring to you all.

I would like to say that Archon has done a great job at bringing these minis to life and is the real hero in this situation by helping fulfill Ninja Division's promises.

Hi Everyone,

I believe the tech side of this announcement is completed. PaizoCon is this week, so that is eating all our bandwidth for right now.

No definitive date for the announcement yet, but not this week and not next.

As always, my apologies for the delays on this. There are quite a few moving parts that had to be aligned.

Hi Everyone,

As much as I had hoped we could message out last week, bugs were found on the tech side and we've been kicked out again.

Messaging will include directions on how to update your information. Updating on GameOnTabletop is recommended if you are moving.

As always, apologies for no movement on this.

Thanks for your patience,

John

Hi Everyone,

Our tech team assures me they are getting close to resolving issues that have prevented us from sending out news about the first wave of miniatures.

As always, my apologies for not having better information on this.

Hi Everyone,

Another week finding technical delays that pushed us out again. Again, no promises, but we are really close to being able to move forward.

Again, my apologies for this delay.

Hi All,

Still waiting for everything to come together. There's some technical aspects to the announcement and, as you know, sometimes simple stuff unlocks a Pandora's box of delays.

I'm hoping things will be ready next week so we can move forward with our announcement. I can't promise anything -- I've been hoping the same thing every week for a while now -- but we are getting super close.

As always, apologies for the delay and the quiet, and thank you for your patience.

Hi Everyone,

Sorry for being quiet for a couple weeks. We have an announcement coming up but we are waiting on some key pieces to finish before we can say anything. My apologies, as always, for the lack of concrete details.

Paizo Employee Director of Licensing

Hi Everybody,

We are closing in on an announcement, but I can't give out specifics yet as I don't want to mismanage anyone's expectations on a time frame.

Thanks as always for your patience.

Hi Everybody,

We are getting closer to an announcement on next steps. We will likely put that message on Game On Tabletop, and encourage folks to update their physical and email addresses there so we know how to contact everybody.

As always, thanks for your patience.

Hi Everybody,

@Ceinwyn -- GameOnTabletop and Kickstarter are the best.

No real news this week, though we are now talking with Archon frequently about timing and logistics. I hope to have something substantial in upcoming weeks.

As always, thanks for being patient on this.

Hi Everybody,

No news for this week. Again, if you've moved since you backed this and haven't updated your address, please do so. No one wants to send stuff to the wrong mailbox.

I'll be out next week, so my next update will be be the following Friday. Hopefully with at least some news about where everything is.

As always, thanks for your patience.

Hi Everybody,

It was another quiet week, Archon is working on Wave 6 and is nearly done, though shipping prices and this new wave of COVID aren't helping much. I think we'll have more news by the end of January or the beginning of February. I'll keep popping in on Fridays to let you know.

Hi Everybody,

Happy New Year! Nothing new this week, but I'm hoping I can get an update by the time I post next Friday.

John

Hi Everyone,

It looks like the holidays have taken full effect and I'm assuming I'll need to wait until next year to speak with Archon. I will be skipping this update for the next two weeks as the bulk of the game industry vanishes over the last two weeks of December.

In our next call, I'll ask Archon what their plans are to respond to customer service emails and messages. I'll hopefully get answers that I can bring back here.

Thanks everybody again for your patience. I hope everyone has a great holiday season, and I'll be back after the first of the year.

Thanks again,

John

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for your patience, as always. No news this week on my side. As far as I have been able to ascertain, Game On Tabletop backers shouldn't be concerned with any differences in their treatment compared to Kickstarter backers. I hope to talk with Archon before the holidays to get a better sense of where everything is at.

Hi Everyone,

First off, I'll be on vacation next week, so no update then. My apologies.

In the email I received from Archon this week, they are still running a bit late on Wave 6, though I think they have all the info they need to move forward now. I'll be talking with them in two weeks, so I am hoping to have some clearer news.

I'm getting more clarity on who is delivering what to who. I'll update when I get more information.

I'll email out the question about the Game On that Realo Foxtrot posted. I don't have any personal knowledge about that process.

Have a good week next week.

Hi Everybody,

My apologies -- I don't check in here on the forums frequently.

I agree that ND is remaining super quiet but both Archon and ND are working out the logistics of shipping. Again, I reach out to them on a weekly basis for updates but frequently there is nothing to report. This week, unfortunately, is one of those weeks.

I will inquire to ND about NA delivery and hopefully be able to get more clarity there for you.

Hi Everybody, I'm John Feil, Director of Licensing at Paizo.

I generally reach out to Archon and Ninja Division on a weekly basis to check how this is going. Currently, Archon is continuing to move forward with Wave 6 but things are slow due to many factors, including, but not limited to, the shipping problems plaguing the world today, the Covid crisis which interrupted nearly a year of progress, and now global inflation making many products much more expensive to ship.

One thing you could do to help is to go to the Kickstarter page and update your shipping address if it has changed. The extended time this has taken means some of you may have moved since you engaged with the project.

I realize this post doesn't contain a lot of granular specifics (if any). As we move forward, I will attempt to give you better focus, but I think it is safe to say that I will try my best not to set any expectations that then can prove false given any number of factors. Any solid announcements will be issued from Archon, so news should come from them first.

Thanks for your attention,

John
