I need help making a shape shifting ranger for society play. I've never built a ranger so don't really know much about what are the best options. Want to play a shape shifter cause I think i lt would be a fun option. What races, feats are best?, what abilities need the most points? Thanks for any help.

BPorter I like your ideas, yes I want to use the setting and fluff. But I also plan on adding some areas all my own. I still want to keep it Pathfinder but use the dark gritty setting. Thanks everyone, your suggestions helped encourage me, and will help me as I tackle this project. Anymore ideas anyone wants to add will add to my building process. Thanks all!

I would like to use the Warhammer Fantasy world as a Pathfinder setting. I might not use every part of the back ground but definitely the battles with the chaos gods. How hard would it be to convert? Being I've never converted a setting before, what's the best way to do it?

Thanks for all the input its great I can get help like this. I think I'll roll up a ranger, samurai, barbarian, and switch hitter fighter. Probably a paladin and standard fighter as well. Ill read up on all the feats and options for each. I like making multiple characters anyway. Maybe in the creative process, one will rise above the others to begin as my starting option. Complexity doesn't really bother me. I have been playing 4th edition D&D lately , so I'm familiar with feats and such. I was interested in the samurai, just wasn't sure how good an archetype it was. But I'm unsure so that's why am asking for help. Even good starting feats might help too.

Hello , I'm just starting out playing Pathfider. I need some advice on which is the best martial class to play. I have played mostly martial classes in other RPG 's , and its my favorite class type. So being new to the game I need some help deciding . I know it's mostly a personal preference , but any advice would be helpful, thanks.
