Hello dear gamers and paizo!

Wanted to ask what is wrong with dragon totem wings? It's not on the "available" list of the unchained barbarian totems! Every other totem still have lesser, middle and greater rage power, but dragon totem now contains only Dragon totem + Dragon totem resilience.

Was it meant to be like this and if it does, can we have some adjustments to it? either take out some of the prerequisites or add something tasty to it. I basicly beg you.

Sincerely yours, John.

Depends on, like with many traps, what else is going on. Do nearby foes know about the trap and respond to it being triggered taking on anyone caught in the area who has now been weakened by the trap/Disjunction. It also depends in this case what the party has stored within their various extradimensional spaces that have now been sealed up. That could range from inconsequential to life threatening. So no directly a Disjoining trap is not in itself damaging but the consequences of getting your buffs stripped/suppressed, then ambushed and then finding needed magic item(s) sealed up could be very bad.

The trap itself is a damaged and perverted rod of of Cancellation, that's why i want it to do something serious.

actually begin to suspect that my GM is a cheating bastard. But I respect his choice if he actually is. For now xD

If you want i can just stop rolling any dices in secret. Even damage. But don't be surprised when you suddenly die. I can swear on DMG and/or PHB that i do not lie about NPC's save results.

P.S. i think i should bad phase locking spell! :D Besides I just love the frustration and hate in their eyes.

MD can also "destroy" a single item.

was replying to the spell. it says that it can destroy artifacts.

+ what kind a trap it is if all it does it's just delaying in-game time for a 20min max.

The bag contains an extradimensional space. I would say that if the bag(no longer magical) can no longer support the items in it, then the items fall out, and the bag ruptures.

So you suggesting destroying the bag, right? It seems fair.

I usually rule everything comes pouring out.

well i see this items being more like a portal that leads to some dimencion, so its not quite for me. but thank you, it's an interesting way of making it.

I'd rule that the gear stays in the extradimensional location and the bag is just an empty normal bag until it is fixed.

Well i'm not sure, the mage disjunction actually CAN destroy an artifact... so it's not really fair. From the other side just taking all of PS's belongings that they DO keep in HHH or bag of holdings is't quite fair.

I need a golden middle i guess.

Hello guys, i wonder what happens with Handy Haversack and Bag of Holding when it's magic have been calceled? Does it looses all that was in there? does it looses a ''path'' to it's dimension?

i've met a trap with Mage's Disjunction and i'm not quite sure what will hapenn with all the items, artifacts and etc. that my PC's posses?

would like to hear your opinion. thank you.

The Twin Shot Knockdown deed should help to keep her busy. You may want to get Signature Deed on that.

Could you please be little more specific, have not seen that deet, to be honest.

Remind me again what choices went into making a gunslinger? All jesting aside, will this goblin be alone in the encounter or will he have backup? Is he expected to fight the elf alone or does he have to survive the party's attacks while attacking her?

That must be a gunslinger, yes. Goblin'll be alone. He'll be fighting 1v1 for a first few rounds, may be minute.

magispitt wrote:
To counter her use of invisibility specifically, try looking into some magic items powered by spells like "see inivibility" or "true seeing". Failing that you could have the goblin know how to use a few scrolls of glitter dust to detect her, or keep a few dogs (as they have scent).

the problem's that she have Really high stealth bonus.

Thanks ^ ^

Hello guys, today i've desided to generate a goblin pistoliero to help one of my PC develop (or maybe even finish) her backstory line.
I need a good headhunter, that'll be able to kill or seriously harm 13 level PC slayer(10) warlord (1) umbral blade (2)
always wear and keep active ring of invisibility and abuse Vital strike feat chain plus she's pretty sneaky (and by pretty i mean that she doesn't even need that invisibility to be unnoticed).
So i need something that'll keep her busy for at least a few rounds and may be even knocks her out while the other PC saves her.

Oh, and she's an elf.

PB: 25
race: Goblin
Gunslinger focused on pistols.

would love to hear some advice or may be even a ready character.

Thank you.

Guys if you're stil reading this tred can you give me some advice?

I'm wondering how's better show my PC's chamber of reduction. They should be very disoriented, yet i'm still now sure how i should make it happens. they're not so big fans of huge introductions and might even brutally skip this room. i'd want to hold them there for a while.

may be you have some quck tips?

My group decided to split up, one person per entrance to town, despite having plentiful access to dimension door, etc. The results were a total mess.

Well it's more fun at least, when you have troubles. I'm GM'ing only for 3 players playing this AP, they kinda underleveled sometimes but still cool and know their strong sides.

I was very offended during this encounter.

The main melee damage dealer went out of the town to kill the few giants on the northen part of the town. that was one.

Wizzard've killed Longtooth with one damn fireball conjured to cold with a few metamagics. that was two.

Bard charmed and/or domintated EVERY SINGLE giants that went in town, and after quick question-answer game killed EVERY SINGLE ONE except for Teraktinus... Now he's a forester, that keeps Sandpoint in safe.

P.S. sorry for bad english.

Hello, sorry for my enlish ^ ^
Just have played a game, where my players found the crown. That was actually funny, because they've immediately teleported to Janderhoff and get this crown to the Old one of the Pallgreves. They've managed not only get for it 12 000 gold, but got a word that they'll get assistance from Dwarves.

Also Wizard outdrink the elder of that clan... well technically. They both have drunk 1 full glass of dwarven moonshine and both (dwarf got a fumble) lost consciousness

The best spell to aid a slayer is Invisibility. Then the slayer can safely study a target to assassinate it.

Slayer's already have ring of invisibility

Mathmuse wrote:

Maybe the slayer did not learn Assassinate because he could not rely on the rest of the party and took a more defensive talent. In that case, I foresee a justified TPK in the future.

Oh god i and Fedorchik1536 laughed aloud :D That was a really good one, mate!

About the Rouge i must speak. It's a slayer thet went to the Viled Moon school from the PoW, so it's not actually usuall kind of rouge, he doesnt even need the rest of the party to kite'n'kill almost everybody + he have custom magical beast horse that i've createted (kinda fun and have it's own character, that sometimes frighten and shock players, especially the slayer, coz the horse's half paladin and the slayer's evil), so he's a lone wolf
the problem is that wizard and slayer are really afraid of the bard, coz she easily can controll them wia spells
slayr mad sometimes coz they wont let him be ''that sneaky bastard''
and the wizzard's just noble young gigolo with a cohort servant brawler and really vulnerabile pride :D i'm not even sure that we'll finish the AP coz they could simply kill each other

You could explore the cheese that is emergency force sphere for those truly terrible situations.

The players in my game made great use of it in RoTRL.

It does take you out of the action a little bit but very useful.

He's actually use this spell sometimes :D, i even were so kind that i cut off some hands of monsters when he cast it, it was tonns of fun

Let them find a cleric to cast speak with dead, if they kill your informant before getting any information. Just rember to leave a hint on their body/in their belongings.

Side note:
Sounds like the bard needs a "paladin encounter"....

You know, it's good that they're killing them before thay can speak, course they could know just to much for the moment. That is the point with i actyally happy :)

P.S. Note taken

Cant afford?

At level 10 the cost of Cure Light Wounds wands are trivial, and should be shared by the whole group, not just the one using it. This means that after every combat they can heal up to full HP.

The problem is that they use all 50 charges after 1 encounter

Guru-Meditation wrote:
I see no problem with more than 1 encounter per day.

They often have more than 1 encounter per day, sometimes even 3-4, but you know those casters, start to whine after they've casted a few spells :S

Guru-Meditation wrote:
You skewer clas balance and classes like Fighter, Rogue and most other martials become weaksauce and overshined by those that can go nova for 1 fight and then are exhausted and at much lesser power for the rest of the day. Like Magus or Casters that can always cast top-down with the highest spellevels. Normally those classes have to think hard when to use those burst of power.

Well we have only 1 kinda-rogue player (he's a slayer, actually, but roguelike one), and he doesn't mind to have fewer encounters in sake of play, not everyone enjoys fully combat games.

I admit that i'm not best DM, but i'm trying to do my best ^ ^

Laureth wrote:

Hmmm... I would suggest increasing the number of combats a day if this wasn't an AP. The big weakness of blasters is that they tend to start running short on spells pretty fast if not having a 10 min adventuring day, and I personally find it more interesting to have to manage stretched resources (gives a bump to mundane martials too)... but since it's an AP not sure you can control that.

What level is the party at?

From the player side, what kind of Bard is he? Too late to steer towards archery and kite?

Their acctual problem is that they doesn't have any healler, exept for the bard with Cure Light Wounds wands so they can't afford to have too many encounters. Plus i, personally, prefer to spend more time on game itself rather than combat encounters.

The party's around 10 level now, but they progress really fast, tho playing on medium exp progression. Dont want to turn it to slow, because it'll kill em. Don't want to lover the CR of important encounters, it will make them not that good as i want to be.

The bard is fully specialized on perform skills (have aroung +30 on lvl 10, just dont ask how), and charm/compulsion spells, so now she actually can do some serious bullsh*t that mess up with my game and sometimes i just don't have enough time to suicide some important all knowing NPC, so i start to bully other players from the name of that captured NPC, they're characters are pretty prideful and feel offended and may even kill somebody even before they've got some piece of information.

I am his DM, and i hate him. He's blasting everything he sees, usually succesfull. He underestimate he's pawah
